Announcing Our Summer Schedule

Please note that effective this Sunday (July 5th) we will have a single combined service through the summer which will begin at 10:30 a.m. In addition through July, we will be providing Bagels & Coffee at 9:45 a,m. which will be served in Fellowship Hall. So do join us for some breakfast and a chance to get to know eachother.

July 4th - No Morristown Service

Please note that this Saturday there will be no service for Morristown Community Church, but we will be back at Alexander Hamilton School on July 11th.

Vacation Bible School

All children, age 4 through 5th grade, are invited to attend this year’s SonRock Kid’s Camp Vacation Bible School, to be held at Long Hill Chapel beginning Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm each evening. Click on the link below to download a registration form.

High above the cluttered schedules and ringing cell phones of ordinary life is SonRock Kids Camp - an outdoor adventure camp like no other! As SonRock campers your children will learn how their lives can be transformed by God’s great love for them: How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (I John 3:1)

Campers will build bonds of friendship with each other and with caring counselors as they discover that their true identities are not formed by where they go, what they can do or what others think. Like the apostle Peter, they’ll explore who they are in Jesus Christ - the most important relationship of all. Because of His love for us, He is the rock upon which we can build our lives!

As they watch Jesus call Peter away from his fishing nets,
they’ll discover what it means to be Accepted by Jesus

Later, when Jesus invites Peter to step out of the safety of a boat and onto a churning sea,
they’ll discover what it means to be Protected by Jesus

As they witness Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Messiah,
they’ll learn how to be Saved by Jesus

From Peter’s shocking denial and Jesus’ redemptive forgiveness,
they’ll know that no sin is too large to be Forgiven by Jesus

Finally, as they discover how Peter’s faith in jesus made a lame man walk,
they’ll know the power of Living for Jesus

This summer, send your kids to SonRock Kids Camp VBS - a mountaintop experience they’ll never forget!

LHC Website - New Features

We are delighted to be launch a major new section of website focuses on our missionaries. The section provides up to date information and prayer requests from all of our missionaries and partner organizations. Please take a look, you will find the link under Serve on the new drop down menu.

Which leads me onto a few key tweaks that have been made to ease your navigation of the website. Most notably is the menu bar which now has a drop down feature that will allow you to go directly to key areas of the website, such as “Our Missionaries”. In addition, if you still want to see all of the articles related to say “Connect”, then simply clicking on Connect at the top of the Menu will give you complete access to that area of the website.

With this new feature we are in the midst of re-organizing some of the articles on the website, so please bear with us. However, if you have any ideas or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us via email.

Small Group Leaders

The second of 7 Small Group Leader Training Sessions will be held, Saturday, February 28 from 8:00 - 10:00 am in Room 204 - Fellowship Hall. Each of these sessions will be held the last Saturday morning of the month: January, February, March, April, May, September and October.
