Continue reading »]]> Welcome to the new look LHSCC web site.

Yes I know it looks completely different to yesterday.

I had been struggling to get my head around the software that ran the previous version of the website(Joomla 1.5) and decided to switch to WordPress instead which I understand much better.

You probably noticed lots of errors if you tried to go to any of the pages apart from the homepage. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was, so decided to use technology that I am more familiar with.

I will persevere with Joomla 1.5 on my machines at home and if/when we find that it is a better fit with what the club wants to do with this site I can move all the articles and media onto that platform.

The club stand was ably manned by Mary & Kevin, Bill, Debbie and Wendy.

We had a lot of enquiries and we gained at least one new member as a result.
