Does Barack Obama use race to bait others or is he merely a racist. We have a man occupying the White House who is celebrated as the first "black" person to hold the highest office in the land. In reality he's only half black as his mother was white but that is semantics if you're trying to make a point about America and race.

But we have Obama visiting an all male, all black college, Morehouse, to make a commencement address. He has some very good things to say if you look carefully at his speech. Yes, I actually used "good" in a sentence concerning Barack Obama. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

He discussed the importance of fatherhood and its importance to a group belonging in a category generally missing from homes where they've fathered children. Yet, he found it necessary to specifically bring in race and identify the existence of racism as if only black's are victims of race and prejudice. I know many black people who seem racist, they resent dealing with whites and many times I think it's because they feel empowered by Obama's elevation to high office and they are entitled to payback.

I saw reverse racism years ago in a transitioning Gary, Indiana when the first black mayor was elected and whites began leaving and the term "white flight" became a common excuse for the resulting downturn of economics in Northwest Indiana. Yet I witnessed a new found power in blacks and they used it racially, and once again I believe it was payback. Whatever the reason it was still racism.

Only blacks were chained and shackled in America but prejudice is nothing new and exclusive between races, it's merely a convenient term. My immigrant father couldn't find a place to rent because of his thick accent and he said it was the Irish who were turning him away.

Racism and ethnic prejudice exist today and will exist forever. Governments can't regulate this, brainwashing can't remove it, making someone feel guilty about it won't stop it. Teaching against racism and ethnic prejudice will certainly help but it won't entirely remove it from our culture.

Racism, prejudice, personal and cultural hate has always existed and will remain to exist for all time. It's very sad but unfortunately a part of life.

However, when you sit in the most powerful office in the land, possibly in the world, you have an opportunity to change things for better or worse. In four and one-half years Obama has worked diligently to make it worse. He has pitted sides against each other both politically and racially. He has chose to divide America, use policy to defeat from within and has demonstrated his personal agenda and that of his party is one of eliminating what they don't like, not working with other beliefs or groups unlike his own both white, black, Hispanic, Jewish or any other group.

But Barack Obama on the surface looks black, it's what people see, what they believe and at Morehouse College he couldn't merely discuss personal responsibility to a class of black men, he found it necessary to use race. Call it race baiting or racism, I believe the two go hand in hand.

Obama told the graduates they have a "special obligation" urging them to “transform the way we think about manhood.”

“There but for the grace of God, I might be in their shoes,” Obama said. “I might have been in prison. I might have been unemployed. I might not have been able to support a family — and that motivates me.”

“My whole life, I’ve tried to be for Michelle and my girls what my father wasn’t for my mother and me,” Obama said. “I want to break that cycle — where a father’s not at home, where a father’s not helping to raise that son and daughter. I want to be a better father, a better husband, a better man.”

“Laws and hearts and minds have been changed to the point where someone who looks just like you can somehow come to serve as president of these United States.”

All very positive and inspiring to young students about to enter the scary world to find employment, begin a career and face life more independently where things become difficult, there are no guarantees, obstacles stand in the way, challenges exist and must be met if one is to succeed. One of the largest economic obstacles to Morehouse College graduates finding a job is Obama's economic policies.

With Barack Obama taking the high road is always met with another purpose, an alternative motive so he didn't disappoint when he jumped at the fork in the road to take the lower highway.

“As Morehouse men, many of you know what it’s like to be an outsider, to be marginalized, to feel the sting of discrimination. That’s an experience that a lot of Americans share,” Obama said.

Hispanic Americans, Obama lamented, are told to “go back” home while strangers pass judgment on the parenting skills of gay men and lesbians or stare at Muslim Americans with suspicion.

Yes, Obama brought in race, LGBT, Hispanics, Muslims all in one brief sentence. He touched upon his agenda not once mentioning that the United States Constitution offers equality for all people who follow the rule of law. It's comes down to individuality in a free society if you have the opportunity to achieve your goals. What other country offers greater opportunity than America?

Then Obama mixes it up, blending a positive only to end with a negative while discussing racism when discussing "bad choices."

“Growing up, I made quite a few myself,” Obama said. “Sometimes I wrote off my own failings as just another example of the world trying to keep a black man down. I had a tendency to make excuses for me not doing the right thing.”

Then Obama, a man who has said we must have redistribution of wealth, made a remarkable statement.

“In today’s hyper-connected, hyper-competitive world, with millions of young people from China and India and Brazil, many of whom started with a whole lot less than all of you did, all of them entering the global workforce alongside you, nobody is going to give you anything you haven’t earned,” he said. “Nobody cares how tough your upbringing was. Nobody cares if you suffered some discrimination.”

“Moreover,” Obama continued, “you have to remember that whatever you’ve gone through, it pales in comparison to the hardships previous generations endured — and if they overcame them, you can overcome them, too.”

Right when you applaud Obama's words, quite possibly for the first time, he doesn't fail to throw ice water on your party.

Speaking about Dr. Martin Luther King's experience at Morehouse College he turned another corner back into race or race baiting or racism.

And it was here, at Morehouse, as Dr. King later wrote, where “I realized that nobody…was afraid.”

Think about that.  For black men in the forties and fifties, the threat of violence, the constant humiliations, large and small, the gnawing doubts born of a Jim Crow culture that told you every day you were somehow inferior, the temptation to shrink from the world, to accept your place, to avoid risks, to be afraid, was necessarily strong.

Whatever success I achieved, whatever positions of leadership I’ve held, have depended less on Ivy League degrees or SAT scores or GPAs, and have instead been due to that sense of empathy and connection – the special obligation I felt, as a black man like you, to help those who needed it most; people who didn’t have the opportunities that I had, because but for the grace of God, I might be in their shoes.

Obama doesn't see one America, he see's a divided America, one that is black and white, not mixed cultures who can work together or not. He believes each person is working for a greater good of the whole but doesn't discuss individualism and individual success for the good of only that one person or that persons family. He believes in a free market society you are not bound to succeed to help yourself, you are bound by the "greater good" of helping others.

Unfortunately, Obama doesn't see the greater good across America at work everyday. Charities are in existence by the thousands, groups of blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, Muslims and hundreds of others of different races and ethnicity are working independently and collectively for the greater good. The difference it's a personal choice not forced by government or by a belief developed out of Obamaworld.

American donates billions in dollars connected to goods and services for the greater good everyday. It has nothing to do with race, it's not separated by cultural barriers, it's a product of the giving spirit of good American's. They didn't have to be told to do good, or to be made felt guilty because they may be white and a black person has less. They just got up and did it. They took the high road because they wanted to, they were not told to.

Slipping Jim Crow and race into a speech to college graduates isn't necessary, but it's the Obama way. Divide and conquer.

There is a term we learned in college years ago - Synergy. In the context of organizational behavior, following the view that a cohesive group is more than the sum of its parts, synergy is the ability of a group to outperform even its best individual member.

Synergy works best when it is merged voluntarily not forced. Groups with common values, beliefs, education and goals work very effectively together. Forced labor camps turn out like North Korea.

In the end, Martin Luther King Jr. said:

Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.

Nothing about race in King's statement. He took the high road.

Below I wrote about ongoing Obama regime scandals and the IRS mess of targeting the Lefts opposition but that was Monday and today is early Thursday and the list has grown in leaps and bounds. In fact, very late last night one more bombshell hit, but I'll get to that last.

2nd has been the endless coverup of Benghazi, lying officials, whistleblowing officials, emails, redaction's of emails, hearings and more hearings. Although those emails were dumped some missing items stood out - the record of a teleconference where the final decision on the edits were made on September 15 and what the final version of the talking points would look like. Senior government officials such as the State Department’s director for policy planning, Jake Sullivan, participated in the teleconference.

And then Director of the CIA, General David Petraeus, had this to say about the heavily edited talking points:

“Frankly, I’d just as soon not use this[.]”

Further, critical emails between administration officials that were sent during the crucial first two days after the deadly jihadi attack.

That IRS business is just heating up. The acting Commissioner has resigned, the blame game is on and the underlings that are being accused are saying they merely took their orders from the bosses.

Then we have the Associated Press (AP) scandal percolating.

The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.

In all, the government seized the records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown, but more than a hundred journalists work in the offices where phone records were targeted, on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

Next up we have Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) on the Hugh Hewitt talk radio show last evening where he broke news alleging that the Justice Department seized phone records from the House of Representatives as part of their investigation of the AP. Partial transcript follows:

DN: I don’t think people are focusing on the right thing when they talk about going after the AP reporters. The big problem that I see is that they actually tapped right where I’m sitting right now, the Cloak Room.

HH: Wait a minute, this is news to me.

DN: The Cloak Room in the House of Representatives.

HH: I have no idea what you’re talking about.

DN: So when they went after the AP reporters, right? Went after all of their phone records, they went after the phone records, including right up here in the House Gallery, right up from where I’m sitting right now. So you have a real separation of powers issue that did this really rise to the level that you would have to get phone records that would, that would most likely include members of Congress, because as you know…

HH: Wow.

DN: …members of Congress talk to the press all the time.

HH: I did not know that, and that is a stunner.

DN: Now that is a separation of powers issue here, Hugh.

HH: Sure.

DN: And it’s a freedom of press issue. And now you’ve got the IRS going after people. So these things are starting to cascade one upon the other, and you have the White House pretending like they’re in the clouds like it’s not their issue somehow.

We have the wheels on the White House bus going round and round until they begin to finally come off.

Obama claims there is no war on terror but it could be said US citizens are fighting a war on terror against themselves. A majority of US citizens don't want amnesty for illegal immigrants, the government is fighting to offer that and much more. And now we find out private, non-profit organizations are being targeted by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) based on terms such as Tea Party, Patriots, Conservative and so on.

Nice, George Orwell's "1984" is alive and well while residing in the United States of America. The "Smoking Man" in the TV series "X-Files" had an inscription on his Zippo Lighter - "Trust No One" and it's so very true of the US government.

When the government want's a story to fly under the radar they dump the news on a Friday. However, when you say the IRS is SPYING on specific groups it's hard to keep it quiet for long. Some are saying this was done to divert all the Benghazi hearing discussion. I don't believe it worked.

On Friday IRS Director of Exempt Organizations Lois Lerner disclosed that the agency had flagged groups with the words "tea party" or "patriot" to have their tax returns inspected, presumably with an eye on the legality of their tax exemption. Ms. Lerner called this "inappropriate," which it certainly was, and she said it wasn't done "out of any political bias." If you believe that last statement I have nice swamp land for sale in the Arizona desert. I'll give you a special, one time deal.

A very big problem with the admission is that IRS representatives previously denied that anything was murky before the 2012 election.

During a House Ways and Means subcommittee hearing in March 2012, Commissioner Douglas Shulman insisted that "There's absolutely no targeting. This is the kind of back and forth that happens to people" if they want to get tax-exempt status.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has a theory:

"There’s no doubt this was not a coincidence that they dumped this story today, a Friday dump day. This is when they put their negative stories out.

I was in that Benghazi hearing,” she told WND. “I think the Obama administration is desperate to spin Benghazi, and they can’t. I think they saved this story up for a day like today so that conservatives would focus on this admission.”

“Conservatives can handle two shocking stories at the same time,” she said. “Both are equally unconstitutional and call into question the very president.”

Bachmann's theory is this would merely appear as one more dispute between Republicans and the White House.

At the Wall Street Journal it seems they're not buying the story and apology as an accident.

Ms. Lerner's apology on Friday was unexpected but we're doubtful that it came as a sudden bolt of conscience. The mea culpa lands ahead of an official report on the tax-fishing incidents by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. That report was requested by House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa and Ohio Republican Representative Jim Jordan in June 2012, and the IG is expected to issue its findings soon.

The incident is particularly rich in light of recent efforts by campaign finance reformers to broaden the powers of the IRS and other non-expert agencies to regulate politics, especially nonprofits. The latest campaign finance disclosure bill sponsored by Senators Ron Wyden (D., Ore.) and Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska), would force trade organizations and 527 and 501(c) groups to disclose their donors, institute real-time reporting requirements and impose draconian penalties for noncompliance.

The bill modifies the tax code to cover political nonprofits, so it also hands more power to regulate politics to the IRS. The bill is a terrible idea on its face, but after Ms. Lerner's disclosure it looks positively dangerous.

This so-called "apology" cannot be taken lightly. The IRS taxing power, when utilized for political purposes, infringes on the contract the American people have with government. It is an outright violation of that contract.

And what is that "contract?" It's the United States Constitution. Obama and his ilk have worked well beyond overtime to shred it at its core.

Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard has written a blockbuster and damaging article on the Benghazi talking points, how they were drafted and changed. The lies go all the way to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Even as the White House strove last week to move beyond questions about the Benghazi attacks of Tuesday, September 11, 2012, fresh evidence emerged that senior Obama administration officials knowingly misled the country about what had happened in the days following the assaults. The Weekly Standard has obtained a timeline briefed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence detailing the heavy substantive revisions made to the CIA’s talking points, just six weeks before the 2012 presidential election, and additional information about why the changes were made and by whom.

I recently opined on how Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) has turned on the Tea Party and grassroots voters who trusted him to be more Conservative than not.

Next, Ryan stated that he's in favor of an Internet Sales Tax which I went over in detail here before the Wisconsin representative chimed in himself.

Now I find some not so well advertised information that the House Budget Committee Chairman met with White House chief of staff Denis McDonoughat at Brasserie Beck, a Belgian restaurant that serves over 100 beers, on how they could find possible avenues to reaching a budget deal.

Remember when Speaker Boehner (R-OH) had secret meetings with Barack Obama, selling out the country and nearly his Speakershiip?

“He’s a Minnesota Irish Catholic guy, and I’m a Wisconsin Irish Catholic guy,” Ryan told Time magazine. “It quickly dawned on me that we can work together.”

One unnamed commenter at The Hill lamented:

“What difference at this point does it make?”

Right-Wing Conspiracy was a phrase coined by Hillary Clinton, former FLOTUS and Secretary of State who failed to report for duty when the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya came under terrorist attack on September 11, 2012. The initial "Right-Wing Conspiracy" came from Ms. Clinton when she accused Republicans of "targeting" her husband over the Monica Lewinsky affair. Bubba was impeached in the House but the cowards in the Senate took a pass while also giving one to the Liar-in-Chief.

In her own testimony before Congress in January before leaving office, Clinton was evasive, famously shouting at Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), "What difference does it make?"

After months GOP members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will be holding new hearings and this time it is said they will be "explosive" with eyewitnesses to the attack will be testifying.

Once again the big question, still unanswered because of the Obama administration coverup will be, "Who knew what, and when did they know it.? The MSM is complicit in the coverup. The agenda this time is to protect Hillary Clinton at all costs.

The Benghazi attacks came close to the end of Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State and the investigation and hearings were on the heals of her departure. Her legacy is at stake but her future in politics could be permanently damaged. One could only hope.

One witness in particular, Mark I. Thompson, is expected to provide information that is highly damaging to Clinton. Thompson is a former Marine and the current deputy coordinator for operations in the agency's counter terrorism bureau. A second official at State has corroborated Thompson's statements:

"You should have seen what (Clinton) tried to do to us that night."

Thompson's attorney has stated:

"...his client has been subjected to threats and intimidation by as-yet-unnamed superiors at State, in advance of his cooperation with Congress."

Also appearing before the oversight committee on Wednesday will be Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks. Like Thompson, Hicks is a career State Department official who considers himself a Benghazi whistle-blower. His attorney, Victoria Toensing, a former chief counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee, has charged that Hicks, too, has faced threats of reprisal from unnamed superiors at State.

This coverup, known as changing talking points in some circles, does not stop at State or Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama is not off the hook, he and his administration are at the center of this mass undermining of National Security and the deaths of an Ambassador and other members of the diplomatic corps.

Well, well, do the numbers lie? Just in, the Government Accountability Office (GAI), considered bi-partisan, is claiming that Golfer-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama is on the links more than twice as much as he spends on the US economy. Imagine that!

BHO vacationing and golfing - 976 hours, BHO in meetings concerning the economy - 474.4 hours.

As a percentage of total hours Obama has put forth a measly 3.6% of his time towards economic matters. In 2009, Obama spent 187.2 hours in economic meetings; in 2010, 127.8 hours; in 2011, 73 hours; in 2012, 80.4 hours.

In their report, “Presidential Calendar: A Time-Based Analysis,” GAI used the official White House calendar. However, these figures may very well be understated.

Obama told CBS news that playing golf is “the only time that for six hours, I'm outside." GAI used four hours in their calculation. It's not surprising Obama would need extra time to golf, even with a motor cart, by looking at his swing. GAI used six hours when calculating a vacation day, but Obama tends to hit the links during his vacation time too.

GAI notes “Obama meets with Cabinet secretaries” and “Obama has lunch with four CEOs” counted as economic meetings.

Some things in Obama's life are consistent. GAI’s new report dovetails with its presidential calendar analysis last July that found Obama devotes little time to economic meetings.

GAI President Peter Schweizer said he would let the conclusions to the analysis up to others, GAI is merely the messenger.

“People understand that presidents have the most stressful job in the world and need a break from time to time,” said Schweizer. “There will be some who will be encouraged by the numbers and some who will wish the president spent more time in economic meetings. As a government watchdog group, we just tabulate the numbers and let others decide how to interpret them.”

I'm glad to oblige Mr. Schweizer. The economy is in the tank, I don't see a real recovery happening, legislation for gun control and immigration is a waste of time, goes against the 2nd Amendment and offers amnesty in that order and Obama is running around the country fund raising and campaigning instead of getting down to business. His budget missed the legal deadline by weeks and it won't pass Congress even with Democrats voting in the majority.

And while the country is suffering, food stamp usage is up, welfare is up, unemployment is up Obama is partying with Hollywood types and the press who should be requiring some accountability of Obama not sipping champagne with him.
