If you have visited DrudgeReport recently you’ve noticed the above image posted with the bold headline “Born In Kenya.”  The headline follows an exclusive piece by Breitbart – part of their “The Vetting” series of Obama.  Breitbart’s exposing of this newly discovered booklet is raising a lot of questions and also understandably further fanning the flames of birthers everywhere. From Breitbart:

Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.” 

The booklet, which was distributed to “business colleagues” in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel. 

It also promotes Obama’s anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White–which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

Here is the text of Obama’s biography in the booklet:

“Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.  The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation.   He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White.”

Breitbart goes on to detail the background of the booklet and the literate agency that wrote Obama’s biography.  It is not suggested that this is proof that Obama was actually “born in Kenya,” but rather it is another piece of evidence showing how Obama’s profile has been modified to fit the preferred image for personal gain.

The biography does, however, fit a pattern in which Obama–or the people representing and supporting him–manipulate his public persona.

David Maraniss’s forthcoming biography of Obama has reportedly confirmed, for example, that a girlfriend Obama described in Dreams from My Father was, in fact, an amalgam of several separate individuals. 

In addition, Obama and his handlers have a history of redefining his identity when expedient. In March 2008, for example, he famously declared: “I can no more disown [Jeremiah Wright] than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother.” 

Several weeks later, Obama left Wright’s church–and, according to Edward Klein’s new biography, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, allegedly attempted to persuade Wright not to “do any more public speaking until after the November [2008] election” (51).

Obama has been known frequently to fictionalize aspects of his own life. During his 2008 campaign, for instance, Obama claimed that his dying mother had fought with insurance companies over coverage for her cancer treatments. 

That turned out to be untrue, but Obama has repeated the story–which even the Washington Post called “misleading”–in a campaign video for the 2012 election.

The Acton & Dystel biography could also reflect how Obama was seen by his associates, or transitions in his own identity. He is said, for instance, to have cultivated an “international” identity until well into his adulthood, according to Maraniss.

This explanation is certainly not going to calm the reactions of birthers.  While I’m not a birther I cannot blame someone for questioning the legitimacy of his now.  The (next) biggest question I believe is on most people’s mind is, how did the mainstream media miss this?  Perhaps they didn’t miss it…or perhaps they never even tried.  Lastly, what else is buried in Obama’s past just waiting to be discovered?

How do you fix the economy? You balance the budget, cut taxes, and release the stranglehold unions have on the public sector.

That’s exactly what Governor Scott Walker has accomplished in Wisconsin. And Big Labor is angry about it.

Walker turned a $3.2 billion deficit into a $300 million surplus, while cutting taxes. Since his time in office, he has required public employees to help contribute a small fraction to their pension and health care plans. Coming into office with 9% unemployment in the state, one of the worst in the country, his pro-business environment has led to job creation and lowering the unemployment rate to 7.1%.

And he accomplished all of this in less than 14 months.

That’s why the unions have been intimidating and bullying people all over the state to recall Governor Scott Walker. They feel entitled to their free pensions and health care, and want everyone else to pay for it.

Now the unions are trying to make an example of Governor Walker. If they win, they will send a signal to every conservative, elected official in America: Unions are untouchable… and we will defeat you if you dare oppose us!

Bureaucrats in Wisconsin just confirmed Governor Walker will face a Democratic challenger on June 5th, and multiple polls show the race is a dead heat.

You may remember Rick Santelli, the CNBC analyst that sparked the tea party movement nationwide with some passionate comments on the financial crisis and stimulus plans in 2009.  Yesterday, Santelli was asked what his thoughts were on Obama’s plan to increase taxes on the so-called rick, a.k.a. the “Buffett Rule.”  Watch as his head nearly explodes trying to explain the absurdity of Obama’s redistribution of wealth strategy.  As he illustrates, it’s all in the numbers!

“Let’s play a little game. Take a million dollars away from these people [the rich]! Just take a whole million from them, okay!  You see what I’m getting at? Gee, let’s take a billion away from those filiers, what does that do? It cleans out one month.”

You have probably been to a play sometime in your life before.  “Death of a Salesman,” “Cats,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” – these are just a few popular plays in mainstream American culture.  However, if you were a radical community organizer what kind of play would you see?  How about “The Love Song of Saul Alinsky?”  That is exactly the play that then state senator Barack Obama not only saw, but he starred in it as well!

Leave it to the mainstream media to pass over such glaring evidence during the vetting process that proves Obama’s radical nature.  Thankfully before Andrew Breitpart’s passing he dedicated himself to doing now what the media should have done in 2008.  Here is a snapshot of the first part of his Vetting Obama series:

In The Audacity of Hope, Barack Obama claims that he worried after 9/11 that his name, so similar to that of Osama bin Laden, might harm his political career.

But Obama was not always so worried about misspellings and radical resemblances. He may even have cultivated them as he cast himself as Chicago’s radical champion.

In 1998, a small Chicago theater company staged a play titled The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, dedicated to the life and politics of the radical community organizer whose methods Obama had practiced and taught on Chicago’s South Side.

Obama was not only in the audience, but also took the stage after one performance, participating in a panel discussion that was advertised in the poster for the play…

Breitbart goes on to describe what the actual play was about (emphasis mine):

So, what’s in the play? It truly is a love song to Alinsky. In the first few minutes of the play, Alinsky plays Moses – yes, the Biblical Moses – talking to God. The play glorifies Alinsky stealing food from restaurants and organizing others to do the same, explaining, “I saw it as a practical use of social ecology: you had members of the intellectual community, the hope of the future, eating regularly for six months, staying alive till they could make their contributions to society.”

In an introspective moment, Alinsky rips America: “My country … ‘tis of whatthehell / And justice up a tree … How much can you sell / What’s in it for me.” He grins about manipulating the Christian community to back his programs. He talks in glowing terms about engaging in Chicago politics with former Mayor Kelly. He rips the McCarthy committee, mocking, “Everyone was there, when you think back – Cotton Mather, Hester Prynn, Anne Hutchinson, Tom Paine, Tom Jefferson … Brandeis, Holmes … Gene Debs and the socialists … Huey Long … Imperial Wizards of all stripes … Father Coughlin and his money machine … Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd … and a kicking chorus of sterilized reactionaries singing O Come, All Ye Faithful …”

And Alinsky talks about being the first occupier – shutting down the O’Hare Airport by occupying all the toilet stalls, using chewing gum to “tie up the city, stop all traffic, and the shopping, in the Loop, and let everyone at City Hall know attention must be paid, and maybe we should talk about it.” As Alinsky says, “Students of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your juicy fruit.”

The play finishes with Alinsky announcing he’d rather go to Hell than Heaven. Why? “More comfortable there. You see, all my life I’ve been with the Have-Nots: here you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of money, there you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of virtue. I’d be asking more questions, organizing them. They’re my kind of people – Hell would be Heaven for me.”

That’s The Love Song of Saul Alinsky. It’s radical leftist stuff, and it revels in its radical leftism.

And that’s Barack Obama, our president, on the poster.

This is who Barack Obama was. This was before Barack Obama ran for Congress in 2000—challenging former Black Panther Bobby L. Rush from the left in a daring but unsuccessful bid.

Apparently there is a video tape of this play, but only one copy exists and an Obama ally has it.   The owner of the tape said, “No one is going to see the tape.”  Big surprise, huh?

Weeks before Andrew Breitbart’s untimely death he spoke about the release of videos from Obama’s college days:

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out.”

Many are wondering where are these videos now?  Well, filmmaker Steve Bannon mentioned to Sean Hannity that they will be released within 10 days:

I am sure this parody ad has the GM executives fired up!  “Do you smell something?”

What else can you expect from a $13 billion dollar investment that went down the drain.

Exposing Leftists has published several videos showing the hypocrisy of liberalism.  We have featured a few of them before.  In their latest video they ask a question that has been asked before, but to a different audience.  This time they asked students at the traditional, conservative school that I attended – Texas A&M University.  Here is the question students are asked:  Will you support applying affirmative action to athletics just as it is applied to the academic and professional world?

Personally, I’d enjoy watching this question being asked to students at that other school in Austin, TX.

“Even though we had a terrible economic crisis three years ago, throughout our country many people were suffering before the last three years, particularly in the black community,” Jarrett said. “And so we need to make sure that we continue to support that important safety net. It not only is good for the family, but it’s good for the economy. People who receive that unemployment check go out and spend it and help stimulate the economy, so that’s healthy as well.”

If unemployment helps stimulate the economy then why not implement policies that will cause higher unemployment such as excessive regulations on the oil industry, taking over health care, increasing taxes, and blocking the job-creating Keystone oil pipeline project?  Why not shoot for 20% unemployment or even higher?  Or perhaps that is Obama’s objective.

Florida Republican Rep. Allen West has something that conservatives crave in politics – a backbone and heart to speak the unrepentant truth.  Regardless of whether he is talking to a radical Muslim defending CAIR representative, a group of Christian women, or in the case below to all “equality of achievement” and “economic dependency” liberals, West is not afraid to say what what he firmly believes.

“Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else,” he continued. “You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”

Over the past 24 hours the mainstream media has been in a bit of a frenzy with the interview / hit-piece of Newt’s ex-wife attempt to torpedo his candidacy’s momentum.  Newt knew the question would come up in the debate and when it did there is no doubt that he was ready.  Watch as Newt rips into CNN’s John King for opening up the debate with a question about his ex-wife:

Exit question: Since the news of Newt’s ex-wife interview hit the wires the MSM jumped at the opportunity to take him out. With that in mind do you remember how much attention did the media give to Obama’s skeletons such as the radical Rev. Wright and the terrorist Bill Ayres?  How much attention will the MSM give objectively looking at Obama this election year?
