With the jury still in deliberation on the Gosnell abortion/infanticide case, more undercover investigative videos keep surfacing showing how no-so-rare this kind of evil is in America.

Meet LeRoy Carhart.  As one of only four remaining partial-birth abortion providers in America, he is celebrated by pro-abortion groups.  His image has taken a hit since a woman at his clinic died during a botched abortion, although that isn’t the first time that has happened.  This new undercover video from Live Action might shed some light on the cause of death for those women, but it definitely proves the inhumane, barbaric practice that is going on in abolition mills under the cloak of “women’s health.”

Carhart has long been known to fight hard for his grisly abortion procedures… Twice he has gone to the Supreme Court to demand the legalization of his favorite method of partial-birth abortion, wherein a baby is mostly delivered and then his skull crushed and brain vacuumed out. So Carhart’s callous disregard for our investigators’ babies comes as no surprise. He casually described the abortion as a “shot into the fetus” to ensure that “[i]t’ll be dead for two days before you deliver it.” He told her the injection also causes the baby to “[get] soft, like mushy [makes squishing sound], so you push it through… So it’s like putting meat in a crock pot.” If this method is unsuccessful, he would have to remove the baby “in pieces,” using, he joked, “a pickaxe, a drill bit.”

Oh, but there is more:

Both investigators asked if Carhart’s abortions “hurt” the babies. He replied by arbitrarily inventing his own parameters for when a fetus feels pain. “So, after about two to three weeks after birth… I think then they have pretty good knowledge of pain, but before that I’m not so sure that they do.” In fact, there is wide consensus in the scientific community that babies feel acute pain by 20 weeks of gestation.

Chillingly, Carhart obviously knows he is killing babies. He consistently described aborting “the baby.” When our investigator said she could feel her baby kicking, he replied nonchalantly, “Yeah, it’s moving now; after 20 weeks, it should be.” In his mind, though, aborting this living, moving baby was still better than the inconvenience of “wondering where your child is and what’s happening to it.” Not to worry, Carhart assured our investigator: “probably within an hour of the injection you shouldn’t feel it moving anymore.”

Gosnell is one case, but there is more than enough evidence available to show that his type of evil is not a rare occurrence in abortion mills.  Please visit Live Action’s website which contains numerous undercover investigative videos showing the evil behind the doors of abortion provides.  Share this (and this), because the mainstream media will not!

I’ve struggled with this piece unlike with any other I’ve ever written.  The details of this case and the other investigative, undercover videos that have emerged recently are so horrifyingly wicked and evil that it’s hard for me to even drudge up the wherewithal to watch a second of it.  I’ve always said that abortion- for or against- boils down to one thing: basic human decency.

Maybe because my youngest is only a year old and I remember those graphic 4d ultrasounds that took place a mere few months ago.  My sweet little baby playing with her cord, sucking her fingers, blinking her eyes- being formed in her own unique way was so visible at such an early stage.  Yet, I’ve seen people recoil in disgust and willing to throw their last penny to pay for a hurting animal- and immediately turn cold-hearted at the thought of an “unwanted baby” of their own flesh and blood.

There aren’t many political topics that I can’t debate in fun.  But human life- innocent at it’s very core- without any chance or opportunity to defend itself is one that I can’t walk away with and shake hands.  That’s where I draw the line.   I recoil on the inside, and I’m sure it’s visibly noticeable.

As a mother who has seen life visible at just a few mere weeks while laying on the doctors table, staring at a pulsing heart on the screen beside me, my heart bleeds and cries at the thought of the lie that is being sold to women and young girls everywhere by a sector of our society who has allowed Convenience to be their god.

The Gosnell trials has brought this horrific practice, with it’s graphic details, into the spotlight.  The reality and horror is on the stand.  But it’s been ignored by a media who wants to brush it under the rug so it doesn’t have the chance to prick at the conscience of the public.

The reality of abortion isn’t nearly so clean as the multi-million dollar industry who profits from it wants you to believe.  The reality is some babies are born alive…left to die, gasping for breath on a table or drowning in a toilet.  Women, the mothers, who are debased and, in some cases, left to die.  The left wants us to believe that Planned Parenthood is there to prevent those back alley abortions- instead, all too often, they leave the same exact results-  dark and lonely corners, blood dripping utensils (instead of hangers) , and babies born alive and thrown into a bucket to die a painfully wicked death…and doctors who collect the little hands and feet in jars as mementos,  But…..shhhhhhh…. That’s a secret that must be left off the airwaves -it certainly is an inconvenient truth that mustn’t be revealed.

The horrors of what has happened with the Gosnell trials is nothing short of the equivalent of any headline news.  But, it’s been whitewashed, ignored, swept under the rug.  Otherwise, it reveals Planned Parenthood and abortion advocates to be the graphic, murderous and inhumane organization that it has always been.  In fact, even finding someone who has heard the name “Gosnell” is so challenging it makes my blood turn to a boil.  Why hasn’t everyone heard this man’s name?  Why isn’t it being given the time in major media that it deserves?  Details such as:

Well formed babies that Dr. Gosnell is alleged to have removed from women by inducing delivery or “precipitating,” as he called it. Then, because they were alive and breathing, he or members of his staff would plunge scissors into the back of the neck and sever the spinal cord. He is charged with doing this seven times, but it is thought he may have done it to hundreds of infants.

Others testified:

One clinic worker, Kareema Cross, testified one of the babies was born into a toilet.

“I saw the baby in the toilet. It moved. It breathed. It had a head as big as a pancake,” Cross testified…

Cross also testified about one particularly large baby.

“She delivered and the baby came out big, about 12-16 inches. He came out, and Dr. Gosnell put him in a box, a plastic box. But the baby was so big his arms and legs hung out of the box,” Cross said. “Dr. Gosnell took the box from the room. After this, the baby pulled his arms together.

“Dr. Gosnell took pictures, then he snapped the baby’s neck,” Cross said. “Dr. Gosnell said that this baby was so big he could have walked me to the bus stop.”

…

In testimony on Monday, Adrienne Moton, who used to work for Gosnell at the Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia, said she recalled one baby – “Baby Boy A” – who was aborted  in July 2008. Baby A was so large, Moton took a photo of the child with her cell phone before Gosnell took the baby out of the room.

“I just saw a big baby boy. He had that color, that color that a baby has,” Moton said in court. “I just felt he could have had a chance. … He could have been born any day.”

In writing this, I came across so many pictures of those fully formed babies that were viciously murdered by Gosnell (not for the faint of heart, but just as important as viewing the horrific holocaust pictures- we need to know what is happening to fully understand the atrocities).  Pictures clearly showing the holes in the back of their necks and their perfect little bodies thrown in shoe boxes.  My stomach recoils, my eyes are full of tears, my hands shake… and I can only wonder how long we can go before a Merciful God runs out of mercy and begins to dole out justice.

In closing, because I could turn this into a 12 part series, easily filled with detail after detail of what is being discovered through the Gosnell trials and the blatant infanticide that Planned Parenthood encourages and participates fully in I leave you with this:

“David Brewer, a former abortionist, tells his story: ‘I can remember that day watching the first abortion . I saw a little tiny head, and I saw a piece of a leg, and I saw a tiny hand, and I saw an arm. You know, it was like somebody put a hot poker into me . I had a conscience and that hurt. That was a very hard experience for me to go through, emotionally. So I did what a lot of us do throughout our life, we don’t do anything. I didn’t talk with anybody about it. and do you know what happened? I got to see another abortion. You know what? That one hurt, too. But I kept seeing abortions, and it hurt a little bit less every time I saw one. Do you know what happened next? I got to sit down and do one . The first one that I did was kind of hard. It was like hurting again like a hot poker. But after a while, it got to where it didn’t hurt’ (Testimony at ‘Meet the Abortion Providers’ conference in Chicago).

“So yes, I am not at all surprised that Dr. Gosnell is cool, calm and collected, smiling even as he listens to those accusing him of murder. Abortion destroys the abortionists themselves.”

I highly recommend checking out this website for more information about this inhuman evil in our country.  There are several undercover websites that are absolutely worth watching.  They will give you a small glimpse of what goes on behind closed doors in the abortion industry.

Obama, her presidential savior, along with the other liberal sheep lobbying for stricter gun control, will be ticked by this new piece of news.  I’ll admit- I watch the View Hot Topics on a pretty regular basis.  I like to hear what the lib’s take are on the issues of the day and  the mostly liberal panel consist of a lot of shrieking against the one semi-conservative, very watered down Republican at the table.

Gun control is always a hot topic on the View and mostly dominated by a consensus that bigger government needs to come in and disarm the citizens in effort to protect us from ourselves.  Rarely are they called on defining what that means and how that will make us safer since criminals aren’t known to be law-abiding citizens by their very nature.  But, it’s the popular liberal line and it sure makes everyone feel good to jump on that bandwagon.

However, after a scary incident in her home involving an intruder that set off the home alarm, Sherri Shepherd suddenly feels differently.  You see, liberal opinions aren’t governed by that little ol’ thing called the Constitution- but more often by their “feelings” and political correctness.  Progressives are persistent in trampling all over your rights as an American citizen– until they figure out they need them too.

But the debate on gun control become more than just a discussion when Sherri Shepherd announced she wanted to arm herself on Thursday.

The 46 year-old announced that she wanted to buy a gun after her burglar alarm went off at 1am that morning saying an intruder was inside.

The alarm and it’s warning terrified Shepherd, her husband Lamar Sally and their son Jeffery, despite the police arrived seven minutes later to reassure the family it was simply a false alarm.

Nonetheless, the devout Christian who has taken a more conservative stance on a number of recent hot-button political issues to make The View’s roundtable, declared they were buying a gun.

‘I’m trying to calm Jeffrey down and all I had was this wicker basket,’ Sherri said. ‘I have nothing, a bat, nothing. We’re going to get a gun.’

Hmmmm….it took the police seven minutes to arrive, huh?  A lot of damage to self and home can be done in that amount of time.  But the story isn’t quite over…

While Barbara Walters tried to talk Shepherd out of the idea, fill-in co-host, country music singer and licensed gun holder Gretchen Wilson supported the former stand-up comedian, claiming she carried a .38 caliber pistol in her purse and had a .45 caliber pistol beside her bed.

Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg encouraged Shepherd to go out and buy a bat.

A bat.  Whoopi Goldberg wants her to protect herself and her child…against a possibly armed intruder…with a bat.  I think those dreads are pulled a little too tight.

Thank goodness that We the People still have a say or the liberals would have us stripped down and armed with a rape whistle and some pepper spray– oh,  and and a bat.  I don’t know about you, but I’ll take the 357 magnum and pray I have more bullets than the bad guy.  Oh, and with the price of ammo these days- don’t expect a warning shot.

In this age of the increasingly large nanny state government, Americans are being more and more encouraged not to be self-reliant.  Don’t be fooled, it most certainly isn’t because the government has your best interest in mind.  There is a thought process to their schemes.   And, let me assure you, it is a scheme.  Perhaps one of the greatest schemes and scams to have ever hit America.  For each government dependent that can be created to rely on government cheese in turn it creates a consistent Democratic voter.  And, if you don’t believe that is happening all over the United States, right under our noses- you aren’t paying attention.

Add to that, the cheese created for the states on the backs of the taxpayers.  Eventually, it can only crush us.

In their neverending quest to grab federal dollars, states are now competing to sign up their citizens for federal food stamps. A piece in Wednesday’s Washington Post details the efforts of states ranging from Florida to Rhode Island to Alabama to sign people up for food stamps, since food stamp cash flows to local businesses via federal allotments. Florida has hired food stamp recruiters to sign people up for food stamp applications. Rhode Island apparently sponsors bingo games for elderly people, with the goal of signing them up for food stamps. Alabama advertises: “Be a patriot. Bring your food stamp money home.” According to the Post, “Three states in the Midwest throw food-stamp parties where new recipients sign up en masse.”

When people protest at being signed up for food stamps, the recruiters in Florida encourage them to get over their shame. The Post reports this exchange between Dillie Nerios, a food stamp recruiter, and an elderly Floridian:

NERIOS: “Sir, can I help?”

MAN: “I don’t want to be another person depending on the government.”

NERIOS: “How about being another person getting the help you deserve?”

The man, Lonnie, is 60 years old. He made bad financial decisions, but because he didn’t encourage government dependency, his children are all working. At first, he turned down the food stamps. But Nerios was persistent. The federal government actually helps hand out training materials for recruiters like Nerios, including ways of convincing Americans to stop worrying about whether they are living off the taxpayer. The training materials teach how to overcome objections to taking Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program checks:

“You worked hard and the taxes you paid helped create SNAP.”

“Everyone needs help now and then.”

“Lots of people, young and old, are having financial difficulties.”

Because of recruiters like Nerios, Florida’s food stamp enrollment has more than doubled in the last five years, from 1.45 million to 3.35 million. No wonder 47 million Americans are on food stamps: not only is the federal government encouraging individuals to discard their ethos of self-reliance in favor of dependency, state governments are getting in on the act in order to fatten up their own wallets.

Welcome to the land of “Progression”…  Too bad they don’t put the same effort into incentivizing hard work and stimulating our economy.  But, you know, that just wouldn’t be prudent.

My heart is echoing with a resounding sadness for my country after taking in this video.  At the same time, I look at the face of this Planned Parenthood official and feel such an overwhelming disgust that someone who shares my gender could be so cold in the face of what seems an obvious answer to a question to me.  Via The Weekly Standard:

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

“I do not have that information,” Snow replied. “I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

Rep. Jose Oliva followed up, asking the Planned Parenthood official, “You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?”

Again, Snow replied, “That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.”

Despite the song and dance that Snow undergoes trying to weave her way through the very simple questions, you can easily see they have no problem executing a baby on the table that makes it pass their scalpel and vacuum.  Life no longer holds value in this death culture that we’ve embraced.  Over 4,000 dead babies EVERY day in this country.  And the Mother of this Death Culture is Planned Parenthood.  Planned Parenthood has turned into a profit driven industry that continues to be funded through millions and millions of dollars of government grants and subsidies, while making profits yearly in the hundreds of millions.

This is no longer about politics.  It’s about human decency.  I’m sure that this must be an awfully uncomfortable moment for Ms. Snow as a baby who makes it out alive just goes to show that an abortion doesn’t just make you “unpregnant”…it makes you the mother of a dead baby.

If it feels good- just do it… Want it now?  What’s the sense in delayed gratification?  Our teens are constantly being bombarded with a message from our decaying culture that if they aren’t walking around with a Juicy stamp squarely across their little bottoms or a little bit of “hiney” cleavage showing around the bottom of their shorts than they aren’t cool.  Little girls aren’t being taught that their bodies are precious, made with and for a purpose, and it isn’t to be a plaything for the pimply hormonal boy in their Social Studies class.  Parents are not being parents anymore and teaching a message not only to their girls that their “goods” aren’t for sale to the highest bidder but also to their boys on how to respect a girl.

Abstinence is a word that is sneered at and is often followed by an eyeroll– not just from the children and teens but also from some scared, and in many cases, lazy and MIA parents.  Because, as we know, the war that is being waged outside of our walls through every bit of this degenerate culture, is also being allowed in our homes through primetime shows, teeny bopper bits even on Nickelodeon, and through many mainstream songs.  Trust me, as a parent who enjoys the latest music- I’m having to switch the channel in the car more often than not.   Your child is not in their best interest.  Their bottom line is their best and only interest and they know that sex sells.

So instead of vigilant parents on constant guard of their children’s hearts and bodies, we are seeing instead a toss of a candy-flavored condom and a wink.  We are sending our ill-equipped kids out with a message that safe sex is sex without consequence.

That being said pregnancies and abortions are only rising among our girls with one in every three babies being born out of wedlock and STD’s are rising to epic proportions with over 3 Million kids infected.  With only a quarter of federal funding going towards abstinence funding, I think it’s a safe assumption that only preaching “Safe Sex” isn’t working very well for our kids.  Abstinence is the only way to insure no pregnancy, no abortions, no teenage mothers, no STD’s.

In fact, new numbers were released this week by the CDC stating that there are now 110,197,000 venereal infections in the United States:

The STI study referenced by the CDC estimated that 50 percent of the new infections in 2008 occurred among people in the 15-to-24 age bracket. In fact, of the 19,738,800 total new STIs in the United States in 2008, 9,782,650 were among Americans in the 15-to-24 age bracket.

It’s enough to make you want to lock your kids in a safe room and throw away the key.  But, since that can’t happen vigilance IS the key.  I wrote an article awhile back about many college girls who are finally waking up and realizing that they bought into the storyline that you can give yourself away over and over, without consequence, and they found it to be a lie.

We have loose attitudes we have towards sex in this  hyper-sexualized society, teaching our kids that if you are going to have sex, just wear a condom.  We put emphasis on protecting their bodies but we are failing their spirits, their emotions and their hearts. And more than promoting “safe sex” most of these programs are just promoting “more sex.”

Those who preach AGAINST teaching abstinence might as well be handing their 17 year-old a 6 pack of beer while issuing them a warning to wear their seatbelt.  We don’t tell our kids that they shouldn’t drink and drive but IF THEY DO, just be sure and wear a seatbelt. We FIRMLY preach DON’T DRINK and DRIVE!  Period.

In closing, I say this to those who want to continue down the same path we’ve been traveling with our young people- to detrimental results.  Teenagers have every capability of saying no.  We teach them say no to drugs.  We teach them from a young age not to talk to strangers.  We teach them not to drink and drive.  The list on what we firmly teach our children in and out of the school system is endless.  So, why do we continue to feel as if this is an issue that we can’t teach them to abstain from like all of the rest?

Will kids continue to mess up and make mistakes if we preach abstinence?  Of course, they will.  History shows us that there has always been out of wedlock and teen pregnancy.  But, clearly, the numbers that we are dealing with in modern day are astronomical and nothing like we’ve dealt with historically.  That being said, let’s all remind ourselves of the definition of insanity….

The reckless opulence with which this administration spends our tax money is mind boggling.  I’m almost at a loss of words (almost, not quite).  During campaign season Biden loves to tout himself as “the working man” in hopes to identify with his voters.  I will preface this by saying that I think there has been wasteful spending in Washington, in both parties, for many, many decades.  When you have other people’s money in your wallet, spending it doesn’t require a second thought. But, this administration seems to take it to a new level with no problem rubbing it in the noses of the struggling Americans who are painfully trying to make it from paycheck to paycheck- and who are struggling even more thanks to the Obama policies who have left even less in their paychecks every two weeks.

Obama’s and Biden’s continued personal disregard for taxpayer dollars WHILE shutting everything else down for the sequester and feeling the pain of our own pocketbooks as our taxes continue to rise is making the stomach churn.  Yesterday we learned that the Obama’s have taken a vacation every single month so far in the year 2013 and now they are on Spring Break in the Bahamas at Atlantis– I guess they need a vacation from their vacations.  Last week we heard about Biden’s million dollar London and Paris extravaganza and now this is from Newsmax:

Every Friday, Biden takes a helicopter designated as Marine Two from the vice president’s residence to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and then hops on Air Force Two to fly back to his home in Delaware. At the end of the weekend, he returns on Air Force Two, usually a Boeing C-32.

During warm weather, Biden regularly returns to Andrews on the airplane on Saturdays to play golf at the Air Force base with President Obama. After the golf game, he flies back to Delaware and returns to Washington on the plane on Sunday evening — all at taxpayer expense.

The cost of flying Air Force Two is $22,000 an hour, so each half-hour trip to or from Delaware costs about $10,000. Each golf game costs taxpayers $20,000. At that rate, the annual cost to taxpayers of Biden’s weekend trips is well over $1 million.

In addition, the Secret Service rents more than 20 condominiums in the Wilmington, Del. area for agents who must accompany Biden when he returns to his home state.

Let’s not fail to mention that giant carbon footprint that I’m constantly hearing about.  If the seas begin to rise, and the polar bears keep dying, the icebergs start melting, and the lakes disappear- don’t blame my 2-ply toilet paper.  Blame Joe.

American taxpayers aren’t so thrilled today when new reports are releasing the details of Vice President Biden and his entourage’s trip to London.  School kids can no longer tour the White House and view our nation’s most important documents in the National Archive due to the sequester.  The Easter Egg hunt on the White House lawn has been cancelled.  However, the administration continues to live large- via your dollar.

Vice President Biden and his entourage spent a little time in London in early February during his first foreign trip of the second term of the Obama administration.  A document released today revealed that the cost of lodging in London alone was close to half a million dollars. The contract was awarded on January 30, 2013 to the Hyatt Regency London for a total of $459,388.65.

This 1 minute clip shows the devastating lack of understanding that the Obama administration has with foreign policy- specifically the relationship between Israel and Palestine.  In an incredibly bizarre moment, Obama tries to draw a parallel between the relationship and occasional argument that the United States has with Canada.  However, let’s look at the differences realistically.  Canada isn’t trying to wipe the United States off the map- Palestine would love to obliterate Israel and all of it’s inhabitants.  Canada isn’t trying to deny the United States the freedom of religion and the right to exist- as Palestine is doing to Israel.   I’m also trying to recall the last time that Canada launched a few missiles into the United States….anyone?

This has got to be one of the most out of touch administrations in American history.   He just outdid Biden with this whopper.

First, let’s give a round of applause for a journalist who actually did his job!   One brave reporter stuck out his neck today at the White House and asked Jay Carney a burning question that many Americans are asking:

All right.  I wanted to follow up on this young woman’s question about the high unemployment out in places like Colorado, all around the country, especially in the minority communities — exceptionally high unemployment.  And when there is government workers who may be furloughed, millions of Americans unemployed, and family budgets that have been cut, how does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayer expense?  And does he plan to cut back on his travel?

Clearly, an uncomfortable moment as we know that this administration loves “to eat cake.”  And you can tell that Carney was probably a champion in his elementary classes when it came to the game of Dodgeball as his answer was:

I can tell you that this President is focused every day on policies that create economic growth and help advance job creation.  We have presided over the past three years over an economy that’s produced over 6.3 million private sector jobs, and we have more work to do.  And this President’s number-one priority is growth and job creation.

The question is…should a President feel the pinch of the failed economic policies that he has personally had an enormous hand in creating?  Or should he go on with business as usual– with the lavish vacations and golf trips that he feels are owed to him?
