The online instruction session,&amp;nbsp;designed for new&amp;nbsp;MSW@USC&amp;nbsp;students earning their degrees through the School of Social Work&#39;s Virtual Academic Center,&amp;nbsp;begins at 12:00 noon and is&amp;nbsp;accessible here through Adobe Connect. The webinar is part of a pilot series of online seminars about library services organized by Winn, head of education and social work library services, and Nancy Silver, the libraries&#39; director of information technology.</description>

        <title>OAPS Collaboration with School of Social Work Highlighted in USC News Web Site</title>

Representatives from the libraries and the school traveled to China&#39;s Fujian province in April to present the book to the Outstanding Academic Papers by Students (OAPS) Conference. Then on May 7, the students were recognized at the School of Social Work&#39;s Dean&#39;s Recognition Ceremony. This makes USC the first U.S. university to participate in the OAPS program, which was launched in 2005 by Professor Steve Ching, university librarian at the City University of Hong Kong. This year, USC will join 11 prestigious universities from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand at the annual conference.
