The new acquisitions support USC&#39;s new online master of management in library and information science (MMLIS) program, which the USC Libraries developed in partnership with the USC Marshall School of Business. Some of the new titles are still being processed, but you can discover many of them&amp;mdash;and a wealth of other resources related to library and information science&amp;mdash;through this LibGuide.</description>

        <description>Librarian Ed Tinoco of USC&#39;s Crocker Business Library was the featured guest at a March 18 meeting of USC advancement officers, where he provided an overview of the USC Libraries&#39; extensive collection of business&#45;related resources.

	In a 90 minute presentation, Tinoco showed the officers how to navigate both company&#45;specific and industry&#45;specific databases to find information on potential research sponsors and corporate partners. He also discussed how the assembled officers could access electronic journals and other publications through the USC Libraries to stay current with industry trends.</description>

        <title>High School Students Learn Business Research at Crocker Business Library</title>

        <description>A group of high school students from Sierra Canyon School of Chatsworth recently visited USC&#39;s Crocker Business Library to learn the basics of business research.&amp;nbsp;The students visited USC as part of a week&#45;long school project in which they learned the basics of entrepreneurship and how to construct a business plan. In a two&#45;hour instructional session, Librarian Eduardo Tinoco taught the students how to access the USC Libraries&#39; electronic resources to find articles, stock reports, and financial information on business firms.&amp;nbsp;Later, the students also met with Dean James G. Ellis of the USC Marshall School of Business.</description>
