End of golden period

This is my debut article,so please excuse me about the mistakes which I might have made.This article is written with an intention to stir out nostalgic memories of the period 1990’s.Children those who were born in 1990’s had the best childhood life I would say.These children were feeling very much happy for small small things that were happening in their lives.I have listed out some of the major things which I enjoyed personally.

1.Video games

video games were the first advanced technology these children had come across.When we saw this video games we were just amazed by the way how it functions and how well the characters play according to our command given through the joystick.Awww!!those small chips made us to wonder how games are stored in that small chip.In those days every kid had sibling except very few who were a single child to their parents, emergence of video games at every house made a tug of war between their siblings and this led to utter chaos and fun. Because of this tug of war parents scheduled a time to all their kids.In my situation I used to play when my brother studied his portions.

2. Playing with friends

Nowadays its hard to see kids playing in the streets ,they are busy playing computer games.Even we had video games and all stuff to play,in spite of that we spent a lot of time playing with our friends.We had a good rapport with our fellow friends.we played hide n seek ,skipping rope,antakshari,running race, cricket,badminton,chess,carom board,hopping.The present day kids are missing out the fun definitely.Lots of small small games were played by us..We were active physically ,after playing we looked very tidy.Our moms used to scold badly for playing like this .Then we used to sit at home for doing home work.

3.No junk food

In those days there was not much of junk food. Moms used to make homemade snacks which is very healthy to eat and cost saving factor for our moms.We shared this snacks among our friends too ..

4.Festivals

Diwali was the fun filled celebration for children because of crackers.We used to buy crackers, a week before the Diwali itself and counting the crackers daily whether anything had been stolen by our brother or sister…ha ha ha…If anything had been stolen ,there arises a big tug of war messing up everything..sooo much of fun ..On the eve of Diwali we busted crackers with full enthusiasm and enjoyment..

5.Full of happiness with little stress

when we compare to the present day children ,1990’s children didn’t have soo much of stress in their life .The present generation children have soo many classes to attend after school hours,dance class,singing class,etc.i feel pity about these children. 2 years kid also need to learn ABCD in the present generation which is very sad on their part.

6.vacation time

All our grandma’s were very much tensed about this period cos of the noise which the children used to make.The day started with waking up little late and finishing all the morning works we headed to play with our friends .And we came back to our house at evening time only..ha ha ..As if we were working at office.
