Reese put me on to odd future a couple days ago and I was highly entertained. From what he told me they are from Cali. They have a couple of vids from their crew on their site. Two that stood out to me were Earl who has a pretty nice flow for a 16 year old or any age for that matter actually and Check my French by Tyler the Creator cinematography is pretty raw.

Multiple handshakes.

I think there needs to be a universal handshake that needs to be agreed upon.
Last week I went through the most awkward of moments with the greeting.
I went for a standard handshake and then someone greeted me with the pound (no battle rap).
Maybe my handshake terminology is a little off. Like I used to call what is now
regarded as fist bump a pound. Now some regard what you call I call “hood handshake”,
the more informal way of grasping hands sometimes connected with a half hug as a pound.

There’s so many slight variations, there might have to be a facial signal to accompany it.
There has been many a time i go for the “Informal grasph” Oh wait someone just put me on as
I’m typing this. When you do the hand grasp it’s a pound and a fist bump is a dap. So from this
point forward I will be using these terms.

There has been times where someone says hello and then they go for a (dap)fist bump. That’s cool I guess,
but I think that the dap should be only used for goodbyes. THe only exception I see for this would be
the multiple greetings (such as giving multiple daps when you see people at the barbershop). When
someone goes for a fist bump hello and I’m going for the pound I purposefully just make an awkward situation worse
by palming their fist like a basketball.

So my proposal is a wink.

You wink once for a dap two times for a pound. You already looking at someone’s face anyway so it works out.
The only problem is when someone gives you a dap/pound and looks away as they are giving it. I get into
“Barzini meeting watch for the traitors” mode when that happens. I feel as if someone looks away when
they greet you, you gotta keep an eye on them.

But anyway to wrap it up. One wink dap two times pound.

On April 15-16. Bergdorf Goodman had a goyard pInging event in store where Goyard owners and new buyers alike could meet up with a Goyard painter Title

imported straight from France. I purchase my Goyard from Bergdorf about a year ago and was curious to see if there could be any additional customization I could do.

You see if you’re a Goyard owner that wants to customize your bag it is a one month turnaround time since they send it our to either California or France to be worked on (standard initials, stripes ,or  special art you design).


Much to my disappointment this event was merely the painter displaying how they paint the canvas. The turnaround time was still a month which totally messed up the logic of the event in my opinion. The artist was a nice woman named Vanessa that I sat with for a while and had some small talk with despite her limited English.  As we talked she customized a brown bi-fold and I wondered what was stopping her from doing others on the spot too. Regardless she was very polite and when I said “see you later.” she replied “I hope.” There wasn’t a reason for me to though.  ……….. Unless she was flirting with me and .. FACEPALM..
