I have never really been a person that has been afraid of pests like roaches, rats or even spiders. I have always been the type of person that when I saw one I would take care of it and make sure that there were no more where that pest came from. Now days though I have to watch for signs of a pest infestation more carefully. My youngest son is super afraid of spiders so we have to be careful of them. It is like he has a sixth sense and knows when there is one in his vicinity. So that being said we have to be extra careful about pest infestation. So it helps to look for the signs of one:

Gnawed food packaging

Droppings

Nesting materials

Unusual holes or sawdust piles

Dried blood flecks

Wings or carcasses

Being on the lookout for these things can help prevent a pest control problem of course because it is important to protect families and children from unsanitary conditions that a pest can bring on in your home and surroundings. And if you do have a pest problem or the beginnings of one it is very important to get in touch with a knowledgeable, certified exterminator.

I know I am just getting chills at the thoughts of pests and am sure to check out the signs above to make sure there is not a pest problem in my home.

I have been a fan of Nair for years. Like since I was a teenager and discovered how much shaving is not really fun. But of course it is all necessary if you want to have nice and smooth legs for the summer. I know, I do. Don’t you? Well I recently tried a couple of new hair removal products from Nair to get ready for the summer.

The first new product from Nair that I tried was the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Shower Total Care™ Body Trio is the only 3-step in-shower depilatory system, including the convenient Nair Shower Power® technology that works while you shower. The suggested retail price is $13.99.

Step 1: The pre-wipe contains mineral oil and chamomile to prepare your skin before removing hair.

Step 2: Apply the depilatory, which is resistant to water through emollients similar to those found in waterproof sunscreens so it will resist runoff while you shower. Keep the area out of the direct stream of water.

Step 3: After the hair is removed, apply soothing post-use gel with Aloe Vera for a perfect finish.

I really liked it because it is easy to use and it works while you are in the shower. To me the fact that it works while you shower is great because you do not have to apply the Nair and sit and wait for it to work like I have had to in the past. I can’t wait to use it again when I go on a trip that I have planned to the Jersey Shore in June. Having smooth skin is a necessity to me on this trip while I am having fun.

I also tried the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care™ Face Trio and I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical because I only ever use a depilatory on my eyebrows on my face. But since the directions did not say anything about eyebrows I used it on my hairline. Here are the details:

The Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care™ Face Trio is the first 3-step depilatory for the face with a suggested retail price of $13.99.

Step 1: The first step is the pre-balm, which coats the skin to help minimize irritation and redness
Step 2: The second step is the depilatory. There’s no drying time so you can apply the depilatory immediately after using the pre-balm.
Step 3: After removing the depilatory product, apply the moisturizer, which is similar to a typical facial moisturizer. This will help neutralize the pH of the skin, bringing it back to the normal level.

The Face Trio is also really easy to use and I was so surprised at how easy to use. I loved the fact that I also had no irritation and it worked fast.

For more information about Nair’s full line of summer hair removal products please visit: http://NairLikeNeverBefore.com. I know I will be ready for summer and you should be too!

I do not even own a horse, and I have begged my kids to let me get a pony. They won’t let me in an odd reversal of roles. Maybe because they are boys and just not into ponies. But even though I do not own either a horse or a pony I still think there are some really cool things about the Kentucky Derby. For example racing horses is really cool, that you can bet on Kentucky derby is awesome and of course Kentucky Derby Fashion.

Such as this really awesome hat:

Now isn’t this an awesome hat for the Kentucky Derby?

I love that it is colorful and that it has feather would be perfectly in place. Something like that is exactly similar to what I would wear. I would have to start off describing my perfect outfit. I would probably start off with a simple white dress. This would be so it would be easy to match with my derby hat. Probably a fit and flare stye with an eyelet design. Then I would choose my hat. I think that the hat would make the whole outfit. So my hat would start with my favorite colors purple, pink and teal. It would have a lot of feathers and probably ribbons hanging off too. And to top it off a big floppy brim is required. And of course there would be shoes to match.

I like Kentucky Derby fashion because it is both over the top elegant at the same time. Sort of like what you see at a royal polo match in England. What would be your ideal outfit for the Kentucky Derby?

I hate to think about the future, and when old age sets. But I do realize that with old age and limited mobility that my lifestyle will be way different. But until them I imagine myself to be one of those older ladies wearing track suits and power walking to get where I need to do. That is my plan anyway and hopefully that will be my future. I also hope that I can pridefully wear silver hair when I am 80 and the track suit has to be hot pink. Or at least a great shade of fuchsia.

I would rock it big time.

But in the even that I can’t get around I want to make sure that my home and life is optimized for the situation. I already require every desk chair that I get to be on casters but if I can’t get around when I am older I think that I will sure be needing medical equipment casters. I would plan on having them on furniture and chairs and probably anything else that I can get them on.

Did you know that there are all kinds of medical casters?

There are chrome ones, autoclave and many others.

They have them for chair and and IV carts. And these are all used in medical offices, hospitals and even at home when home care is needed. And if you think about casters are actually really important in the medical industry. They are used frequently to movie patients around hospital on beds and they have to be sure to make sure their IV carts are following behind them. Can’t have any casters getting stuck, right? What if it were emergency? So we have to make sure that the best quality casters are used.

I still look forward to my hot pink 80 year old grandma track suit. And having great quality casters on my medical equipment.

Well mostly if you do not want to wear your winter clothes during the summer and sweat. Unless it is of course a new weight loss tactic called “sweating the weight off by wearing you winter clothes during the summer.” Which will all know is not a real thing or even a fad. So of course we will all be getting clothes to wear during the summer months and we all want to save money while we look good.

So what do you do save on summer styles?

Well I can tell you some things that I personally do.

I look for coupon codes and sales online and when you put those together you can do a tremendous amount of saving. That is the number one thing that I suggest when shopping for summer styles.

You can also find online savings on summer styles at White Stuff which works out great in helping save money on awesome summer styles. White Stuff has great summer fashions to check out such as the beautful dress that is perfect for a summer afternoon walk in the park:

I know I would love to wear that dress on one of the many picnics that the kids and I enjoy during the summer. And for even more awesome shopping goodness get extra discounts at Jack Wills.
I could probably share 100s of pictures of awesome summer fashions but just remember that the best way to get deals is to shop online.

I have to admit that I have had a lot of dental work done over the years. Partly due to genetics and partly due to poor dental hygiene. I can admit this because I am a real person and want to bring attention to how important it is take care of your mouth and teeth. So very important and if you do it right can make sure you don’t live with years of pain and heart attack from an embarrassing smile.

That being said it is absolutely important to me to make sure that I make a good example for my kids on the importance of dental care and I make sure they take care of their teeth and do everything they are supposed to.

Proxi-Plus is one of these such items that aids in great dental care. It is really handy in getting those hard to reach areas that you or your child cannot get to with a regular tooth brush. One end features a gentle brush and the other end a flosser. The Proxi-Plus is handy on the go making it easy to use on those morning where you are trying to get out of the door.

I really could just imagine pulling up next to someone at a red light and imagine them using the Proxi-Plus to clean their teeth. The thought kind of makes me giggle but you have to commend someone for taking their dental health seriously.

Don’t forget though that when taking care of your teeth while having great dental care it still doesn’t hurt to have snack and treats in moderation. I know from personal experience that moderation is very important in oral heath.

Senzzzzz Away is another one of those dental products that I wish I would have heard about years ago. Sensitive teeth has caused me years and years of pain. It also kept me from eating food and drinking beverages that I loved because I didn’t want to be in pain.

Senzzzzz Away is really neat because it eliminates tooth sensitivity from cold, sweet and hot foods and liquids. Which is awesome if like me in the past you were not able to enjoy foods that you like. And to top it all off one treatment can last up to 6 months and it is clinically proven and developed by a dentist.

Just the amount of time that a treatment lasts makes it worth it!

You can find Senzzzzz Away and Proxi-Plus at most major drugstores and retailers.

I first started collecting music and in particular CDs around 20 years ago when I was 14 years old. I remember my first CD that I ever got was Soundgarden’s Superunknown. I still love that album and remember most of the words like it was yesterday and even still listen to it from time to time. Just not that first CD, I have it on my computer now. Not to say I don’t still have the CD around the house somewhere because I actually do. It is just stored in a box. With many other CDs that I have collected over the years. And let’s just that I was a teenager in the 90s, and that is when CDs were at their height in popularity so I have collected quite a few. I even still buy a few here and there when I want to own a physical copy instead of just collecting music on my iPhone or computer.
But if you are like me and have tons of old CDs around that you no longer use or even DVDs and Video Games. What do you do with them?
How about an easy way to make a little bit of extra cash?
Music Magpie is an awesome service that pays you for your old DVDs, CDs and Games. Really cool, right?
And this is an especially great idea right now because of all of the spring cleaning that most of us are thinking about doing, so why not make a little bit of extra money while we can. I know I like extra money, don’t you?
I can even imagine some of my readers thinking about the newer music that you may like to use your extra money to buy or even newer movies since you or your kids have watched the same ones over and over again.
So get to spring cleaning and sell your old games, movies and music to Music Magpie and either get new ones or invest in some spring cleaning oranization.
