Wrongly my FB account memorialized when I am still alive.

Facebook have yesterday put my account
into special memorial state, which denies me access to my account. I have filled every possible form there is available and I have even tried calling them but the number isnt used now.

I happen to have an another account in facebook, by using which I have created help page and try to contact facebook without any success.

Someone must have misused facebook special memorial form or it is an honest mistake by facebook.

I request them to contact me or give my account back. ASAP.

If they require any futhure comfirmation of me been alive I am willing to provide them including phone number and video chat opportunity to verify that i am still alive.

Akon In The Maldives

US R&B singer Akon is set to perform in the Maldives in 23rd of April, after Sri Lankan government denied him of visa to enter into Sri Lanka. Maldivian government has also welcomed Akon in the country.

News of Akon's shift into Maldives was received by the Maldivians in a mixed manner, which made it harder to decide what's the majority of Maldivians wants. Evidence of this mixed reactions can be clearly seen on social media network Facebook, where Maldivian Facebook Community has set up a group called "we support akon live in maldives" [Cliker Here To View The Group]. Currently group has 997 Member base as of April 13th and to counter it theirs a group in Facebook Called "we DONT support akon live in maldives" [Click Here To View The Group]. Currently the group has 1,644 Members as of 13th April. Which is 647 Members more than the group which supports Akon's show in the Maldives.

As the Maldivian president welcomes the news of Akon's show in the Maldives, Islamic Ministry of the Maldivian government has boycotted the event.

People who oppose Akon's show to be held in Maldives mainly bases their beliefs on an video which shows Akon performing an sexual position on an 15 year old girl at club Zen in Trinidad. Below is the video....

It seems like wherever Akon goes he sure is likely to carry the controversies surrounding his actions. My view on this is Don't stop the music...!!!

One day, we all are going to die. And when you do, what happens to you're online presence?. Here's how Facebook is dealing with the dead people.

If you're one of those who are addicted to Facebook, Facebook will be the most important fixture in you're digital mausoleum. I mean, it's a basically a catch-all for your memories, with timestamped comments, loads of personal info, and pictures. (Oh dear god, the pictures...) It's the first place acquaintances look after someone dies, and the first place the press will look if your death was particularly public or tragic.

How one can deal with a dead profile. Here are the options:

• Report an account to be memorialized: Accounts can be turned into digital insta-memorials. This is a service Facebook actually offers:

"Please report this information... so that we can memorialize this person's account. Memorializing the account removes certain more sensitive information like status updates and restricts profile access to confirmed friends only."

This is a safe option, since it gives the deceased a certain degree of privacy, without eliminating their memory forever. As depressing as it may sound, there's a form you can fill out for this.

• Take the account down: From the memorialization FAQ:

"We do honor requests from close family members to close the account completely."

If you make a special request (again through the form) you can have the account removed completely. You've pretty much gotta be someone's parent or spouse for this one, though.

• Sue for access: Need to see your family member's Facebook profile, for closure? This treads well into some gray area, but it turns out, you can sort of do this. Sometimes. From Legacy Locker:

"If your family is intent on gaining access to your Facebook account, they'll have to resort to legal action against Facebook. Not surprisingly, this is becoming increasingly more common...

The deceased was a young adult who had been hit by a drunk driver while on his motorcycle. The mother was aware that her son was a prolific Facebook user and wanted access as part of the grieving process. She wanted the ability to communicate with his friends and maintain the connection to her son. His virtual self was one of the key things she had left to remember him by."

The woman had access to her son's account, and it was only when Facebook realized the boy was dead that they revoked it. She sued to get it back, and eventually:

"Facebook provided the parents an electronic snapshot of their son's Facebook page to see everything contained within it. This included all messages, wall postings and photographs. Facebook also permitted ongoing access to the public portion of the page. This is akin to the view that any "friend" would have of the page."

Invisibility a Possibility

WASHINGTON -- From Grimm's fairy tales to Harry Potter, the cloak of invisibility has played a major role in fiction. Now scientists have taken a small but important new step toward making it reality.

Researchers at Germany's Karlsruhe Institute of Technology report they were able to cloak a tiny bump in a layer of gold, preventing its detection at nearly visible infrared frequencies

Their cloaking device also worked in three dimensions, while previously developed cloaks worked in two dimensions, lead researcher Tolga Ergin said.

The cloak is a structure of crystals with air spaces in between, sort of like a woodpile, that bends light, hiding the bump in the gold later beneath, the researchers reported in Thursday's online edition of the journal Science.

In this case, the bump was tiny, a mere 0.00004 inch high and 0.0005 inch across, so that a magnifying lens was needed to see it.

"In principle, the cloak design is completely scalable; there is no limit to it," Ergin said. But, he added, developing a cloak to hide something takes a long time, "so cloaking larger items with that technology is not really feasible."

"Other fabrication techniques, though, might lead to larger cloaks," he added in an interview via e-mail.

The value of the finding, Ergin said, "is that we learn more about the concepts of transformation optics, and that we have made a first step in producing 3-D structures in that field."

"Invisibility cloaks are a beautiful and fascinating benchmark for the field of transformation optics, and it is very seldom that one can foretell what practical applications might arise out of a field of fundamental research," he added.

In earlier research, a team led by David Schurig at Duke University developed a way to cloak objects in two dimensions from microwaves. Like light and radar waves, microwaves usually bounce off objects, making them visible to instruments and creating a shadow that can be detected.

The new research led by Ergin used infrared waves, which are close to the spectrum of visible light.

In cloaking, special materials deflect radar, light or other waves around an object, like water flowing around a smooth rock in a stream. It differs from stealth technology, which does not make an aircraft invisible but reduces the cross-section available to radar, making it hard to track.

Ergin's research was supported by the German Research Council, the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the European Commission and the German Ministry for Education and Research.

US to Invade Somalia in weeks

The United States is involved in preparatory military operations in Somali for a 'major' offensive against Somali fighters, a report says, according to Press TV.

The U.S. is providing military assistance to Somali government in order to retake capital Mogadishu from Somali fighters, a recent report in The New York Times indicates, notes the Press TV article, adding that the American military is conducting nighttime surveillance in the Al-Shabab-controlled areas of the capital and training Somali intelligence officers and forces in addition to providing logistical supports for the government.

All the preliminary efforts, including reconnaissance and logistic operations, are meant to help launch a major assault on what US government dubs the 'al-Qaeda' branch in Somalia within 'a few' weeks, reported Press TV.

“It's the Americans … helping us," the US newspaper quoted Somali military chief General Mohamed Gelle Kahiye as saying.

Meanwhile, a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity was quoted in the report as saying that American "covert forces would get involved if the offensive fails to dislodge al-Qaeda terrorists," reported Press TV, adding “What you're likely to see is airstrikes and Special Ops moving in, hitting and getting out.”

According to Press TV, the report also refers to secret US military and intelligence involvement in the Horn of Africa conflicts in the aftermath of the overthrow of Somalia's junta leader Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991, as well as mentioning the US Central Intelligence Agency's failed collaborations with Somali warlords to stop the fighters in 2006 which led to a US-backed invasion of the impoverished African state by Ethiopian forces in the effort to kill top leaders of Somali fighters.

Israeli Harem Leader Charged With Rape

An Israeli man accused of having 23 wives and fathering 59 children was charged Sunday in a Tel Aviv court with multiple counts of sexual assault, rape, sodomy and enslavement.

Goel Ratzon, 60, was arrested last month. Authorities charge that he lived in a compound with the 23 wives, having convinced them that he was omnipotent.

All the wives tattooed Ratzon's name and picture on their arms and the children's names are all derivatives of his name, according to the court papers.

Ratzon married his first wife in 1972, added a second wife in the early 1980s, and from 1991 added another 21 wives, according to the indictment.

He persuaded the women that he had the power to heal and curse, through which he gained "complete control of their lives, desires, thoughts, emotions and actions," the court papers say.

Ratzon spoke in court for first time last week, saying he was innocent, that everything was done with consent, and that any women who wished to leave could do so, Israeli media reported.

The indictment charges that the defendant "captured the women in a 'pseudo-family' structure that revolved around the worship of his image, making the birth of his children a supreme goal that the women must aspire to, and all this was to glorify him while serving and fulfilling all his needs."

Ratzon demanded that his wives and children completely obey all of his orders and has stringent rules and had a penalty system if they disobeyed him, the indictment alleges.

He also "abused his wives by trampling their self-worth and cut them off from any outside social contact including their families, and by this enslaved them to him and his desires," the court papers say.

The indictment includes allegations of rape and sodomy of two of his daughters, sexual assault of another daughter, and rape, assault and sodomy of four other girls.

Beyond the mental and physical control Ratzon had over his wives, he effectively controlled all of their finances, the indictment says. The women deposited major chunks of their social security payments and salaries into the family's account, paid for all of his living expenses and bought him all his property and anything he demanded, authorities charge.

Ratzon's cult has been known to the authorities for about 10 years, they said, but it was only about six months ago they succeeded in convincing one of the women to file a complaint. That brought about his arrest last month.

HT-Johan and Hattrick - an endless (love) story

'I´m a Swedish guy who used to work as a journalist, but I fell in love with an online game and now we are living together - happily! (Most of the time anyway...)'. I was enjoying a cup of black tea while working at my weekly newspaper, the italian Il Corriere di Hattrick, when I got the chance to engage in an interesting chat with HT-Johan, that is to say one of the most important users. It was definitely not by chance then, that my tea started to look green and its taste... Got a new, jurassic flavour.

My Swedish collegue told me how he fell in love with the game: 'I was a journalist for 5 years after university, but I wanted to work as an entrepreneur with Hattrick and once I could do that fulltime, I had no time over for being a journalist - very simple! It's more fun working for your own company than writing about people who are doing it'.

Which Hattrick feature you like most?

'The aspect I love most and keep being fascinated by is how Hattrick revolves around building a team for the long term perspective, rather than just being very intensive and then you get bored with it. The 'waiting factor' is very important for the game experience, somehow'.

What does HT mean?

'The prefix 'HT' means that you work with the development of the game, in the broadest sense - you don't need to be a programmer, but you are part of the development team and part of the group that makes the development decisions in Hattrick. Historically, the HT team were me and Björn and Daniel - the founders of Hattrick and Extralives plus a group of volunteers, now it's mostly employees within Hattrick and Extralives'.

How did you start your career?

'I became a HT since I started working with Hattrick in 1998, and then went on to found the company Extralives in 2000, and when we launched the new Hattrick in 2000 we gave ourselves the HT prefix to show that we were 'official'. In 2001 we created the 'HT-team' as a group responsible for the development of the game, and included some trusted volunteers, such as HT-Tjecken and HT-Trapper'.

What is your role precisely, then?

'I'm the chairman of our game design group, which means I plan new features for Hattrick and help decide in what order to introduce them. I also represent Hattrick in a lot of diffrerent contexts, from meeting new partner companies to recruiting new employees or meeting our vounteers and users and having a few beers'.

Hattrick must be a great experience. Which are your best memories about it?

'The best is when we make really good launches, stuff that we think are good for the game and then are very well received by our users. Most times we do things there's a mix of happy and unhappy users - that's natural, of course - and the unhappy users always seem to make more noise, so even good releases are never entirely pleasurable. But once in a while we hit the sweet spot, for example with the youth date earlier this year, and that's a really good feeling - the New Design was also a good success in many ways, especially since it meant we could put a very, very long project behind us and start focusing on new things...'.

... And the worst one?

'The worst experiences? I should say the server crashes, the worst one in 2006 for example, when we were down for five days almost - but in a way, they are really bad but also exciting because you work so hard to fix things, and then eventually you do - and everyone really wants you to succeed, so in many ways it's a posiutive crises. Much worse are things like the privacy crisis we had in 2007, because then many users and volunteers were disappointed with us, and trust takes so long to build. That was probably the worst time in Hattrick for me'.

The tale was over, HT-Johan got back to his work and suddenly the tea turned black again. I felt sad at once, but plenty of brand new Saturdays shining on my future made me smile again

Maldivian Meredona- rising Superstar

Mohamed Alif Fahumy, 15 year old boy from Seenu atoll Hithadhoo, he is also known as Alihpea, many believe that he is set to replace the lights of Ali Ashfag.

His talent was first spotted in an under 09 Football tournament held in addu, back then he was only 8 years old, at the time Lim who worked as an FAM instructor label this kid as "Future of Maldivian Football", he also insisted FAM to provide proper training to Alif.

Lim was able to see him play again in Unity Cup in Addu, where Lim and Maldives Saff winning coach Joseph Jankech, both have praised Alif for his talent.

Alif has also played in AFC under 15 championship, he has also manage to score a goal for Maldives at that game against Iranian under 15 squad, where unfortunately Maldives lost 2-1, but nevertheless everyone was stunned by this boy.

After seeing his impressive performance at the game against Iran, Iranian coach was curious to know, how much FAM is doing to develop Alifs talent and Iranian football federation requested FAM to keep Alif in Iran to provide support and training to him, but the offer was denied by the Maldivian FA.

Alif has also participated in adults football tournament held in addu this year, he played for Hithadhoo FC Challenger and was able to score 5 goals against guys much more older and experienced then him, along side with him was playing a well known Maldivian football star Bonda and many others who are currently playing for Maldives under 23 team.

Roland Emmerich, the director of the '2012' disaster movie, had wanted to depict the destruction of Islam's holiest site, but was persuaded not to.

He blew up the Empire State Building and the White House in Independence Day, sent a giant monster careering through the heart of Manhattan in Godzilla and destroyed the famous Hollywood sign in The Day After Tomorrow. But it seems there are places even Roland Emmerich will not go - the German film-maker has revealed he abandoned plans to obliterate Islam's holiest site on the big screen for fear of attracting a fatwa.

For his latest disaster movie, 2012, the 53-year-old director had wanted to demolish the Kaaba, the iconic cube-shaped structure in the Grand Mosque in Mecca that Muslims the world over turn towards every day when they pray and which they circle seven times during the hajj pilgrimage.

But after some consideration, he decided it might not be such a smart idea, after all.

"I wanted to do that, I have to admit," Emmerich told scifiwire.com. "But my co-writer Harald [Kloser] said I will not have a fatwa on my head because of a movie. And he was right.

"We have to all, in the western world, think about this. You can actually let Christian symbols fall apart, but if you would do this with [an] Arab symbol, you would have ... a fatwa, and that sounds a little bit like what the state of this world is.

"So it's just something which I kind of didn't [think] was [an] important element, anyway, in the film, so I kind of left it out."

But Emmerich acolytes need not fear that the film-maker is pulling his punches on 2012, which arrived in UK cinemas on 13 November. The movie depicts a global doomsday event supposedly predicted by the Mayans more than a thousand years ago – in order to highlight his opposition to organized religion, the director decided to use CGI to destroy the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro instead. For good measure, he also blew up the Sistine chapel and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, plus, on a secular note, the White House.

2012 Phobia- Conquers Box Office

Roland Emmerich's disaster epic 2012 has shot to the top of the worldwide box office with an estimated global haul of $225m.

The figures represent the fifth biggest international opening of all time for a blockbuster. In America, the film took $65m to claim top spot at the box office.

Ironically, that figure was just below the $68.7m for Emmerich's previous personal best, The Day After Tomorrow. Sony Pictures distribution president Rory Bruer declared triumphantly: "I felt the Earth move".

"Audiences responded to the amazing images they were seeing throughout the film's campaign. This movie really did raise the bar, even for Roland Emmerich."

When I became a widow, 'Abd al-Rahman b. Auf, one amongst the group of the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), sent me the proposal of marriage. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) also sent me such a message for his freed slave Usama b. Zaid. And it had been conveyed to me that Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) had said (about Usama): He who loves me should also love Usima. When Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) talked to me (about this matter), I said: My affairs are in your hand. You may marry me to anyone whom you like. He said: You better shift now to the house of Umm Sharik, and Umm Sharik was a rich lady from amongst the Anqir. She spent generously for the cause of Allah and entertained guests very hospitably. I said: Well, I will do as you like. He said: Do not do that for Umm Sharik is a woman who is very frequently vizited by guests and I do not like that your head may be uncovered or the cloth may be removed from your shank and the strangers may catch sight of them which you abhor. You better shift to the house of your cousin 'Abdullah b. 'Amr b. Umm Maktum and he is a person of the Bani Fihr branch of the Quraish, and he belonged to that tribe (to which Fatima) belonged. So I shifted to that house, and when my period of waiting was over, I heard the voice of an announcer making an announcement that the prayer would be observed in the mosque (where) congregational prayer (is observed).

So I set out towards that mosque and observed prayer along with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and I was in the row of the women which was near the row of men. When Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had finished his prayer, he sat on the pulpit smiling and said: Every worshipper should keep sitting at his place. He then said: Do you know why I had asked you to assemble? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: By Allah. I have not made you assemble for exhortation or for a warning, but I have detained you here, for Tamim Dari, a Christian, who came and accepted Islam, told me something, which agrees with what I was-telling, yuu about the Dajjal. He narrated to me that he had sailed in a ship along with thirty men of Bani Lakhm and Bani Judham and had been tossed by waves in the ocean for a month. Then these (waves) took them (near) the land within the ocean (island) at the time of sunset. They sat in a small side-boat and entered that Island. There was a beast with long thick hair (and because of these) they could not distinguish his face from his back. They said: Woe to you, who can you be? Thereupon it said: I am al-Jassasa. They said: What is al-Jassasa? And it said: O people, go to this person in the monastery as he is very much eager to know about you. He (the narrator) said: When it named a person for us we were afraid of it lest it should be a Devil. Then we hurriedly went on till we came to that monastery and found a well-built person there with his hands tied to his neck and having iron shackles between his two legs up to the ankles. We said: Woe be upon thee, who are you? And he said: You would soon come to know about me. but tell me who are you. We said: We are people from Arabia and we embarked upon a boat but the sea-waves had been driving us for one month and they brought as near this island. We got Into the side-boats and entered this island and here a beast met us with profusely thick hair and because of the thickness of his hair his face could not be distinguished from his back. We said: Woe be to thee, who are you? It said: I am al- Jassasa. We said: What is al-Jassasa? And it said: You go to this very person in the monastery for he is eagerly waiting for you to know about you. So we came to you in hot haste fearing that that might be the Devil. He (that chained person) said: Tell me about the date-palm trees of Baisan. We &aid: About what aspect of theirs do you seek information? He said: I ask you whether these trees bear fruit or not.

We said: Yes Thereupon he said: I think these would not bear fruits. He said: Inform me about the lake of Tabariyya? We said: Which aspect of it do you want to know? He said: Is there water in it? They said: There is abundance of water in it. Thereupon he said: I think it would soon become dry. He again said: Inform me about the spring of Zughar. They said: Which aspect of it you want to know? He (the chained person) said: Is there water in it and does it irrigate (the land)? We said to him: Yes, there is abundance of water in it and the inhabitants (of Medina) irrigate (land) with the help of it, He said: Inform me about the unlettered Prophet; what has he done? We said: He has come out from Mecca and has settled In Yathrib (Medina). He said: Do the Arabs fight against him? We said: Yes. He said: How did he deal with him? We informed him that he had overcome those in his neighbourhood and they had submitted themselves before him. Thereupon he said to us: Had it actually happened? We said: Yes. Thereupon he said: If it is so that is better for them that they should show obedience to him. I am going to tell you about. myself and I am Dajjal and would be soon permitted to get out and so I shall get out and travel in the land, and will not spare any town where I would not stay for forty nights except Mecca and Medina as these two (places) are prohibited (areas) for me and I would not make an attempt to enter any one of these two. An angel with a sword in his hand would confront me and would bar my way and there would be angels to guard every passage leading to it; then Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) striking the pulpit with the help of the end of his staff said: This implies Taiba meaning Medina. Have I not, told you an account (of the Dajjal) like this? 'The people said: Yes, and this account narrated by Tamim Dari was liked by me for it corroborates the account which I gave to you in regard to him (Dajjal) at Medina and Mecca. Behold he (Dajjal) is in the Syrian sea (Mediterranian) or the Yemen sea (Arabian sea). Nay, on the contrary, he As In the east, he is in the east, he is in the east, and he pointed with his hand towards the east. I (Fatima bint Qais) said: I preserved It In my mind (this narration from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)."

The United States and China do not have to be at odds despite the challenges facing them, President Obama told Chinese students at a town hall meeting Monday in Shanghai.

"Our relationship has not been without disagreement and difficulty, but the notion that we must be adversaries is not predestined," Obama said before an audience of several hundred university students. He called for open dialogue but said he recognized that each nation was unique.

"I believe that each country must chart its own course," he said.

Still, Obama said, there are certain core principles that all people must share. According to the president, those principles include equal rights for everyone, a government that reflects the will of the people, open commerce and free access to information, and the rule of law.

"We do not seek to impose any system of government on any other nation, but we also don't believe that the principles that we stand for are unique to our nation," he told the gathering.

These freedoms of expression and worship, of access to information and political participation, we believe are universal rights," Obama continued. "They should be available to all people, including ethnic or religious minorities, whether they are in the United States, China or any other nation."

The issue of human rights often has been a sticking point between Beijing and Washington. China regularly cracks down on its religious and ethnic minorities, keeps tight reins on the media and censors the Internet.
