While shooting an event a couple of months ago, I shoot this beautiful kid while he was being held by his mom. She actually asked me if I can do a photo shoot for his baby, which I say a big yes and this baby was worth the job.

Mathias is a very hyper baby with tons of potential to be a model. Why do I say that? For the first 20 mins, this kid was just modeling in front of the camera. Honestly, this was the first one year old baby I shoot and I was concerned a little bit about how to caught his attention. I even asked my wife who is a teacher, lol, but she said I would be fine since I love kids.

Mathias’s room was definitely beautiful but his parents wanted a couple of shoots like in a photo studio setting (white seamless). I took my gear and setup everything on a very small space which was very challenging (and allow me to learn) so don’t be scare about challenges! As a photographer, my work is to master the medium and come out with great shoots so I’m exceeding my client’s expectations.

After 25 minutes, Mathias was not cooperating (even I gave him 2 breaks). I’m very happy with the result. Have you shoot kids before? How was your experience? Leave a comment and share your experiences.

Fluffy the Clown

It’s been said that there is always a first time for everything. Well, I think this photo shoot has been the most funny I’ve ever made. I was hired to do a photo shoot for Fluffy the Clown, by Ray Manuel who is producing Fluffly’s first CD album, music for children.

Fluffy’s energy was all over the place since we started the photo shoot. I was laughing the whole time when she was doing tricks, using lola (the bird), playing with the balloons, etc.

I do think that inside every person is the spirit of a child. I had a lot of fun taking photos and this only proves that photography is exciting. Really exciting.

Israel Rodas

Another photo shoot in the studio! Yeah! I’m aiming to partner with some music producers around the area because usually they got clients needing photos for their music albums and since I’m also a graphic designer, this seems to be a great business opportunity for me.

Israel Rodas contacted us through the help of Renny Abello to take his photos and design the cover album for his new music production Jesucristo Rey Majestuoso.

Sometimes is just hard to get clients to get in the mood for a photo shoot and this was not exception but after a couple of minutes the client relaxed and I came out with some nice shoots.

I’m hoping to post more here on my lighting and bring more in deep video tutorials on how you guys can setup this “studio” in a very small place. It also depends on how much people start asking about this tutorials. So come on! Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Church Ignauration

Thanks to the provision of God, my church got a new local in the city of Hempstead. There was quite an investment and some work done before but finally the day came. My pastor held a special ignauration service. Here’s a photo review in photos.

Wanda Gomez

I’m doing pretty good lately! This is the blessing of God and the photography business is growing. By another client referral, Wanda Gomez contacted us for a photo shoot in the studio.

She is an event planner and business woman with a lot of talent looking to promote her business. For this one, I used the studio and my favorite white background.

Ray Manuel

I’m in the middle of working on a music video for Ray Manuel and we both went out to check out some places at Brooklyn. Since I was itching to take some photos and Ray was wearing some urban clothes, I took my camera and came out with this.
