ANSR Beam Reviews:

The main stream users of ANSR Beam are such a group of people: experienced beauty lovers, have various skin problems. Many have already tried prescription at the dermatologist or other OTC products, but are never satisfied nor have treated their skin problems. Thus, readers like you may have an high expectation on this little device. At such a low price for two kinds of light, things may look suspicious. But I can tell you, it works, of course for most of you.

ANSR Beam Reviews: An Overview

ANSR Beam is a compact and TUV America tested device. ANSR Beam utilizes red and blue light which are safely and effectively in treating acne and revitalizing your skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This device provides users a great way of bypassing clinical laser treatments, cosmetic surgery, and various skincare procedures that may be harsh on your skin complexion.

ANSR Beam Reviews: How It Works?

ANSR Beam works in a quite similar way as other light therapy products. ANSR Beam utilizes blue light technology to deal with acne. Blue light treatment utilizes a beam to penetrate the top layers of your skin, killing the germs that result in acne without producing dryness, redness, or soreness. It may efficiently manage breakouts and decrease blemishes, get rid of bacteria and stimulate the development of nutritious skin.Red light used on ANSR Beam can rejuvenate the skin or works with blue light to treat acne. Red light generally go deeper than blue light into your skin, which means it can be very effective in stimulating collagen to grow new cells. This treatment will help give you a healthier and smoother complexion, improve skin texture and tone, reduce pore size and reduce redness, fine lines or wrinkles.

Being more specific, if you have acne, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles or another skin condition you have used conventional products on but not been successful then this is definitely an option to try.

If you are not sure whether the ANSR Beam is safe to use on your skin for any reason, contact your doctor before use.

But the reader like you may still doubt it. Well, a great resource is Amazon Reviews.
ANSR Beam Reviews: Is It Safe?

Baby Quasar MD Reviews

Baby Quasar MD has been in the market for a period of time. You may ask: is it just another name of Baby Quasar with a higher price tag? How do you choose when Baby Quasar MD vs. Baby Quasar and is Baby Quasar MD as effective as it claims to be? My simple answer is, you can expect everything Baby Quasar does from Baby Quasar MD, and in a faster and time-saving way.

Baby Quasar MD Reviews: vs. Normal Baby Quasar

Baby Quasar MD does share similar light technology with Baby Quasar. They both utilize four wavelengths of red, amber, as well as infrared light, which have effective skin care improvement qualities. However, Baby Quasar MD is an enhanced version of Baby Quasar-it is more powerful and more effective.

Baby Quasar MD Reviews: Does It work?

What’s the attracting point of Baby Quasar MD is, according to official statement, is is 3x more effective but you only need to pay 2x more money. You only need 1-2 times light therapy perweek using your Baby Quasar MD, compared with 3-4 time on a Baby Quasar. From users’ feedback, I find Baby Quasar MD can be faster in improving your skin conditions, but it’s hard to say it’s 3x faster than Baby Quasar. Just like Baby Quasar, MD can give you:

More even skin tone, better skin texture and softening of lines

Smoother, tighter and more supple skin

Shrinking Pores and less wrinkles

Decreased hyper-pigmentation and rosacea

Stopped acne or acne-like pustules

Smaller then disappearing bump spots

Faster scar-peeling

Baby Quasar MD is definitely a great product, but overuse may cause you acne-like bumps on your face- and you definitely don’t like bumps. There are also some warnings for people with pregnancy, epilepsy, steroid or cortisone injections-you need to consult with your physician prior to use of Baby Quasar MD.

Here’s a video from a user who gives a detailed review on Baby Quasar MD.

Baby Quasar MD Reviews: How to Choose

Baby Quasar MD gives you the same effect as Baby Quasar, of course, in a shorter time. But which one should you buy? My advice is: if you are time sensitive, go for Baby Quasar MD. If you have much time and a tight budget, go for the basic version: Baby Quasar.

You come here for Baby Quasar products. Specifically, you come here for Baby Quasar Red, MD, Blue or Power Pack. Here is the question, which one is suitable for you? What are the difference between these products?

A simple and quick answer is, Baby Quasar Red is mainly for anti-aging purpose, although is has effect on pain relieving; Baby Quasar MD is an upgraded version of Baby Quasar Red, it’s more powerful and 3x more effective than Baby Quasar Red, and cost nearly twice as Baby Quasar Red. Baby Quasar Blue is mainly for curing acne, and Power Pack is the combination of Red and Blue.

You can read the detailed reviews here:

by Rufus

Recently Essential Day Spa introduced 3 photo rejuvenation products, Baby Quasar , Tanda and Lightstim. I bought one of each (the Lightstim after Christmas last year) and paid for them myself. The good news is that (at least for me) photo rejuvenation works but it can be hard to sort out which product may be for you. I’m sorry that I don’t have any pictures to show you but I’m just too camera shy to go to the other side of the lens. I also have to say that at 50 I’m not expecting to look like I’m 30 but I have to say I got results (from light treatments) that topical skin treatments didn’t give me.

Baby Quasar vs. Tanda vs. LightStim: Baby Quasar

BABY QUASAR: I’ve only had my Baby for a few weeks and I have to admit all the ladies who raved about this device are right. The Baby Quasar is the most expensive but after a few weeks using the Baby Quasar I see results which are an improvement on what the Lightstim or Tanda could give me for the Red LED light.

The Good: The Baby Quasar is the most sturdy of the three units I’ve used as it has an aluminum frame. The treatment time is less and the results in skin color and improvements to the nasal labial folds, forehead lines, skin tone, adding in around my eyes make it the product I’m most fond of. There is an onboard timer making figuring out how long to treat a non-issue. I found the Baby Quasar heated up the least of the three making it kinder my sensitive skin with Rosacea.

The slightly less than Good: Size matters and at 1 3/8” in diameter the head of the Baby Quasar is the smallest making treatment time longer but having to treat your skin less I guess it evens out.

*Overall, the Baby Quasar is my favorite of the Red LED products because I can see more results in just a few weeks to skin tone and lines. It’s worth the longer treatment time. I spoke with Alex at Advanced Therapy and found out that they will offer a Blue LED device called the BABY BLUE very soon. Right now I’m treating my face with first the Tanda Blue led light module then the Baby Quasar. For those with size concerns you can trade in your Baby Quasar for a larger model the Quasar SP. If you’re just starting and don’t have any Light product and have some money to spare you can invest in the Quasar SP and get the best of the Baby with the grownup size. From what I’m reading at EDS, the SP is the way many ladies are going.

In my chat with Alex I mentioned one thing that is on my wish list, and that’s an instructional DVD for the Baby Quasar and all the other products mentioned above. He did say they have been talking about it and I hope we see one offered in the near future.

Baby Quasar vs. Tanda vs. LightStim: Tanda

TANDA: This is a relatively new addition to my collection and like the Lightstim does improve the skin but it has a difference which may make it a good addition for those who like something easy to use. Tanda is a modular device on which you have a base unit which you can change the head from the red to the blue LED. The main reason I bought the Tanda was for the blue LED blue light module.

The Good: First off the Tanda has the best packaging and instruction book out of any of the products. The modular units make the Tanda a space saver and you can replace the units if they eventually stop working or are damaged. I liked the onboard timer as I didn’t have to worry about a timer for treatments. The triangular shape of the treatment heads could make it easier to fit the unit into some small areas. I found the red module comparable to the Lightstim. The blue light module is what I actually bought the product for and it has started to help clear my stubborn adult acne and on that it has delivered significant results which I just wasn’t getting with the red LED lights alone.

The just less than Good: Again, the heat generated by the unit (the Tanda became the hottest, most likely because I did use both the blue then red modules for a time) may be an issue for those with Rosacea. You have to make sure you have a proper contact or the light module will go out requiring a bit of fiddling to keep the right connection. I also found the Tanda people were just a bit vague about any warranty, but when I got a defective unit they were wonderful about replacing it. I’d like to think that any of the warranty insecurities are due to the fact that the Tanda is new product line getting off the ground.

*Overall, the Tanda if faithfully used does show results at about the same rate as the Lightstim on the Red LED light module but the strength of this product is the modular nature with the added timer and compact size. If you need to use the Blue light for acne Tanda does become the most economical out of the three products EDS offers.

Baby Quasar vs. Tanda vs. LightStim: LightStim

LIGHTSTIM: Lightstim was my introduction to the world of photo rejuvenation.

The good: The price makes this product the most economical of the three (if you only want the red LED light) and with time you do get results in skin colour and tone. I have an older model which has a black foam handle, and feel it would be the most easy to hold for those with arthritis. If you are willing to comply with the instructions and take the time to use the Lightstim properly you will get results. I liked the size of the head (round shaped at 2 3/8” in diameter) which made treatment time shorter. I noticed that my skin just looked better and there was a change in the depth of the nasal labial fold and forehead lines. At the Lightstim website you can watch an information video and 2 testimonial videos.

The just less than good: If there is a downside it’s the heat generated from the Lightstim, which may make it difficult for some people with Rosacea (who flush easily with heat) to deal with. There is no onboard timer.

*Overall, the Lightstim does work and could be just the right choice for those with a budget in mind and don’t need a blue LED for acne. I have to add that at the Lightstim site they have added a Blue unit with an introductory price of $279.00 USD. They also give you 90 days to see if you like their products.

In conclusion, Light therapy does work but you have to be willing to spend time doing the treatments and not just do a treatment here and there. EDS offers three photorejuvenation devices at prices that make if possible for almost every budget.

The Baby Quasar Red is a light therapy tool for increasing circulation in the skin. The combination of red/amber and infrared light penetrates the skin to immediately start restoring skin’s natural health. The Baby Quasar Blue kills the bacteria, thus completing the treatment and healing cycle. Treating acne effectively requires the harmonious power of Baby Quasar Red and Baby Quasar Blue.

Baby Quasar Red, which is a great anti-aging device, is a hot selling product on the market. But what about its sister, Baby Quasar Blue? Is it just another different color in Baby Quasar family? The answer is, no, it’s not. While Baby Quasar Red and MD serve as the magical devices for anti-aging and skincare, Baby Quasar Blue is the magical device for curing acnes.

How Baby Quasar Blue works

The Baby Quasar Blue works by killing acne-causing bacteria, P. acnes, and treating inflammatory acne vulgaris. The P. acnes bacteria releases small molecules called porphyrins. When porphyrins are exposed to the Baby Blue’s wavelengths of natural light, they produce free radicals that kill the bacteria. You can learn more about Baby Quasar Blue here.

Baby Blue is 100% natural and requires no harsh chemicals or medication. It is safe, effective, painless, noninvasive and requires no downtime. It can be used on all skin types and skin tones including sensitive and irritated skin. While acne is not considered a serious health threat, severe acne can result in permanent scarring and can be a source of significant emotional distress. And Baby Quasar Blue works to reduce blemishes and kills acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes).

Customer reviews on Baby Quasar Blue

In the post I will cite some customer reviews, as I believe my blog readers like you prefer to read reviews from various people. You can also read the reviews on Baby Quasar Blue from Amazon produce reviews. From the customer reviews you can find that this blue light treatment device does a great job. It is a smart buy for you.

After topical prescription creams, facials, dermatologist visits, expensive fancy creams) and spending LOTS of money in the process, so I broke down and got Baby Quasar Blue. I used it for a week (4 times this week) on my problem areas and my acne is completely resolved.

We’ve all tried Baby Quasar Blue and it worked on older family members like myself. It was less effective on younger skin. Maybe it’s the stuff kids eat, or maybe it’s hormones, I don’t know.

Baby Quasar Blue is an easy to use acne light therapy product. You can start the treatment at the push of a button and treat the problem areas as well as all your face.

Baby Quasar Blue is also a corded device. Though some people would prefer the mobility of a rechargeable device, there are no issues with the battery since there’s none. Battery operated devices may after some time stop charging, this is not the case with Baby Blue and thus you will enjoy treatments for much longer.

I bought this Baby Quasar Blue for my teenage daughter. After 15 -20minutes daily use for 2 weeks, we can see that her once serious acne problem is now under control. A small area on her cheek is actually smooth again!!

I’ve been using the Baby Quasar Blue for a week now and it seems to be working. I definitely see the redness of my acne going down. I hope it continues to work.

Full Baby Quasar Reviews

There are huge set of light therapy devices on the market, from cheap Tanda to highly priced Baby Quasar ( and Baby Quasar MD is two times more expensive than Baby Quasar!). It seems choosing a lower-end device is a smart choice for you-if it can do the job. But the truth is, you get what you paid for. Compared with other known light therapy products, Baby Quasaris just more effective. Yes, there is justification for being expensive-you have less chance to buy a cheap but never working product.

How Baby Quasar works

The aging process is the process of reducing in production of collagen and hyaluronen as we grow old. The result is an increase in lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation and losing skin elasticity. Light therapy is the technique of using infrared light to help increase blood circulation and thus an higher rate of producing collagen and hyaluronen, which helps achive a slower pace of aging. Then why Baby Quasar is more powerful than most of other OTC red light therapy devices? It uses four different light wavelengths, while other similar devices generally have two or three. The larger number of wavelengths makes Baby Quasar more in anti-aging. Baby Quasar also features a Sequential Pulsing Technology which can reduce negative harmonics and help achieve healthy and vibrant skin.

Baby Quasar Reviews: Effectiveness

Overall, Baby Quasar is a very effective red light therapy unit. From most users’ experiences, after from 2 week to 6 weeks, users can expect:

More even skin tone, better skin texture and softening of lines

Smoother, tighter and more supple skin

Shrinking Pores and less wrinkles

Decreased hyper-pigmentation and rosacea

Stopped acne or acne-like pustules

Smaller then disappearing bump spots

Faster scar-peeling

Because of individual differences, Baby Quasar is a miraculous device to most people, but it’s possible it’s less effective to you. And you need to remember, Baby Quasar requires a devotion in time-the basic recommended treatment on the face alone takes 24 minutes. If you are so busy to having 24 minutes for your face, then Baby Quasar is not your choice. And you’d better not look for an overnight miracle; you need at least two weeks to see its effect-but, hey, for your beauty, why not take some time?

Baby Quasar Reviews: Wrap-up

Baby Quasar is a well-crafted light therapy device. It serves most of people though a small fraction of unlucky buyers will find Baby Quasar is not that effective for them. Face treatment using Baby Quasar is a time-consuming procedure, but you can zap yourself while doing other things like exercising on a leg machine or watching TV. Besides, Baby Quasar saves you drive time to and from, plus the wait time, plus the treatment time at a professional service. Baby Quasar is a highly recommended product by LightTherapyDevices.com.

For those with acne, Baby Quasar Blue is to address the need to control acne by controlling p. acne bacteria, which is the main cause of acne. The Baby Quasar Blue is intended for use in harmony with the Baby Quasar Red when treating Acne and blemishes and the combination can always give better results.

Clinical studies in the U.K. revealed that the combination of red/infrared light (Baby Quasar Red) and blue light (Baby Quasar Blue) treatments provided the maximum benefit in treatment of inflammatory acne. Medical experts know that acne results from an excess of acne bacteria and sebum in the hair follicles. Over 17 million Americans currently experience acne breakouts, and most will suffer at some time in their lives. This type of treatment is both gentle and effective. To understand why Baby Quasar Blue is the right device for you, you need to first know the causes for acne.

Baby Quasar Blue science: causes for acne

Acne, the most common of all skin disorders, is a traumatic experience for millions of youngsters and adults. As Sulzberger & Zaldems said in 1948, “There is no single disease which causes more psychic trauma, more maladjustment between parents and children, more general insecurity and feelings of inferiority and greater sums of psychic suffering than does acne vulgaris.”

Acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones and other substances on the skin’s oil glands (sebaceous glands) and hair follicles. These factors lead to plugged pores and outbreaks of lesions commonly called pimples or zits. Acne lesions usually occur on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Although acne is usually not a serious health threat, it can be a source of significant emotional distress. Severe acne can lead to permanent scarring.

Found over most of the body, follicles consist of a sebaceous gland connected to a canal, that contains a fine hair. These are most numerous on the face, upper back, and chest. The sebaceous glands make an oily substance called sebum that normally empties onto the skin surface through the opening of the follicle, commonly called a pore. Cells called keratinocytes line the follicle.

The hair, sebum, and keratinocytes that fill the narrow follicle may produce a plug, which is an early sign of acne. The plug prevents sebum from reaching the surface of the skin through a pore. The mixture of oil and cells allows bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) that normally live on the skin to grow in the plugged follicles. These bacteria produce chemicals and enzymes and attract white blood cells that cause inflammation. (Inflammation is a characteristic reaction of tissues to disease or injury and is marked by four signs: swelling, redness, heat, and pain.)

Baby Quasar Blue: a solution for curing acne

Only recently discovered, blue and red/infrared light offer substantial benefit over the traditional approaches to acne treatment. Previous methods focused on either medication (Accutane or Retin-A) or topical products such as Proactive. The downside of these products lies in their cost, side effects and the inconvenience factor. Clinical studies have shown that a combination of red and blue light work better than the previous acne treatments, is less costly, and has no side effects. Having good acne information is critical to making acne treatment decisions.

Baby Quasar Red and Baby Quasar Blue devices have an outstanding acne treatment that is completely natural and requires no harsh medication. This is not a cure for acne – there is no cure, but the light will dramatically improve the appearance of acneic skin. Although P. acnes bacteria normally lives on the skin and sebum normally keeps skin smooth and supple, an excess of either will lead to acne.

The combination of blue light (416-420 nanometers) which kills the P. acne bacteria and red/infrared (600-1200 nanometers) which increases blood flow and circulation, attacks the causes of acne and will dramatically reduce the visible signs of acne. When Baby Quasar Blue plays the mail role of treatment, a combination with Baby Quasar Red can produce much better result.

Baby Quasar Red is designed to be a smaller version of many professional models. It is able to include four wavelengths of light and Baby Quasar Red’s SequePulse Technology. SequePulse Technology is an optimization procedure associated with the use of multiple wavelengths of light which eliminate harmonics in the light, thereby it can achieve faster, better results. The Baby Quasar Red is the most powerful and effective consumer device available today.

Baby Quasar Red’s effect on anti aging

As we age, our skin becomes thinner, loses moisture, and becomes less elastic. The age at which this naturally occurs varies and is genetic in origin. Some of us will appear to age more slowly due to the genetic gift of our parents. Others will age more quickly and may look older than their actual years.

One of the main factors in aging skin is collagen. A large, moist molecule, collagen is the building block of our skin. The body naturally reduces the production of collagen as we enter the 50′s and 60′s. Without the collagen, the skin becomes less supple and elastic, it thins, and color changes take place. The result is an increase in lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and age spots (hyper pigmentation).

Perhaps the largest component of skin damage for the baby boomer’s is sun damage. Baby boomer’s may be the first significant group of individuals to deliberately expose their skin to large doses of sunlight from an early age. Physicians now report that the sun damage seen by many of those in their 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s is a result of early overexposure to the sun – mainly in the teenage years. Early exposure to the sun to exacerbate the natural changes which occur later in life. The skin’s thinning, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots are all made worse with the visible damage appearing sooner – making the person appear older than he or she is chronologically. Medical studies have also shown cigarette smoking as another culprit in skin damage.

Medical science suggests that once the injury to the body and skin has occurred, little can be done to prevent the ensuing appearance of skin damage. The lines, wrinkles, and hyper pigmentation will gradually emerge. The individual is then left with the option of appearing older than he or she is or taking aggressive steps to restore, rejuvenate, the skin through current techniques and treatment.

Recent developments in skin care technology have had great strides in correcting the flaws resulting from sun damage to the skin. The use of light has emerged as a primary technology for alleviating the signs of aging. These treatments are relatively safe, pain free, and inexpensive when compared with earlier skin care solutions such as laser skin resurfacing and face lifts. Today, everyone can enjoy relaxing treatments with greatly improved skin appearance at a low cost and pain free. Home use instruments like the Baby Quasar Red make treatments even more convenient and affordable.

Baby Quasar Red’s effect on healing pains

The red and infrared heat therapy offered by the Baby Quasar Red represents a true advance over the therapeutic tools in use for over 50 years in stimulating a temporary increase of blood flow and circulation and temporary pain management. It is particularly effective with minor muscle and joint pain and minor arthritis pain. The combination of four wavelengths and SequePulse technology are a non-pharmacological solution to these problems.

If you’ve read some basic theory on light therapy, you may know the main stream of light therapy is divided into red light therapy and blue light therapy. These two kinds of light has some distinctive and different features, thus produce different effects on skin, though they can be used together and produce a better result.

Red light therapy

Red light therapy is mainly for anti aging purpose. It was formerly studied and developed by NASA, and red light therapy has shown significantly effect in accelerating plant growth. Further research has revealed that red light therapy also has a positive effect on human cells renewal. Red light at an ideal wavelength has been proven to be effective at improving skin conditions.

The science behind the miracle of red light therapy is as following. The production of collagen and elastin is decreasing when we become older, and the capillaries (small veins that carry the blood containing nutrients) become tighter. Red light therapy renews cells and will help those veins to carry more blood and more nutrients to your skin. With red light therapy, the aim is to stimulate elastin and collagen production when the skin absorbs light. These substances are essential to keep your skin smooth and soft.

Red light therapy results are cumulative. So the more you use it, the softer and smoother your skin will be. Fifteen to Thirty minutes are generally sufficient to get a complete face treatment, but of course you can just treat certain areas of your face (lips corner, periorbital zones…).

There is no surgery involved in this technique, and you will need less and less creams supposed to get you a face-lift. Though it was first only available from skin clinics, dermatologists and spas, red light therapy devices are now publicly on the market and you can thus get your treatment from your own home. These devices have a cost, which can be up to $400 (such as Baby Quasar Red), however it is totally worth it since you will not use as many products as before. It’s also much more affordable than treatments at a dermatologist.

Blue light therapy

While red light therapy is very effective in anti-aging, blue light therapy is more powerful at removing acne. Acne is a very common skin problem mostly faced by young people. Acne occurs when the oil produced by the skin glands entraps in the pores and thus bacteria traps in those pores which harms the skin.

There are numerous acne treatments depending upon the different kinds of skin. Blue light therapy is the long-term solution to this problem and it is suitable for all types of skin. On the market, the major devices which are used for the blue light therapy are: Evis MD Platinum Blue Omnilux Clear-U (emits both blue and red light), Baby Quasar – Baby Blue, Tanda Professional Skin Care System (emits both blue and red light) and ANSR Acne Light Therapy System (emits both blue and red light)

The blue light therapy kills the bacteria named P.Acne and Propionibacterium Acne. With the use of blue light therapy, the bacteria are removed from the roots and stopped from any further increase of acne bacteria.

Blue light therapy treatment is highly recommend for the acne problems as it is a natural treatment and does not cause damage to the skin or include any kind of severe side effects. The major drawback of the blue light therapy is that it can cause problems like swelling, skin dryness or some skin color changes which disappear with time or can easily be overcome under the dermatologist guidance.

In a word, if you are look for a good way of anti-aging, go for red light therapy. And blue light therapy is very effective in curing acne. You can also combine two methods to make your skin younger and better.
