I, Satyam Pandey, Stenographer at EPFO, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, am here to share my journey of becoming Stenogapher at the age of 19 Years. I belong from ‘Patna’ a district in the State of Bihar. In Bihar, they say, if you get a government job, you get god. I was often told that getting a government job at present time is really difficult and I can’t get it, reason being an average student in class and also belonging from UR category which means getting a govt. job becomes 10X more difficult. I always used to contradict these sorts of statement whenever someone near me used to say this, but you can’t make someone shut his mouth. After I took my board exams in March 2020, Lockdown started. I had nothing to do at that time as the results were pending and admission in next academic session i.e. Class 11 was not done, so my father suggested me to start learning ‘Shorthand’. Formerly, I was not aware of this thing, but eventually after doing a lot of research on Youtube and Google, I came to know about a book ‘Pitman Shorthand Instructor and Key’. I bought this book and just starter following the book. When children of my age were busy in playing PUBG and making TIKTOK reels and watching it, I was doing practice of outlines day and night. It was like penance for me. It took me approx one year to learn shorthand properly and attain a speed of 90-100 wpm with 99% accuracy. In October 2020, 1^st Laptop was brought in my house, only for my typing practice. My family was suffering from financial crisis at that time due to the Lockdown. Still, instead of all the difficulties my family has left no stone unturned to provide me all the facilities possibly needed for me at that time.

Time passed and along with time I became better in shorthand. People say that you cannot learn shorthand without going to coaching. I did learn it, I compl3eate4d my basics from ‘Pitman’ book and started practicing dictations from ‘KC Magazines’ sometimes recording it by myself and sometimes taking help from several youtube channels like ‘Rakesh Sir’s – Likho Steno Academy’, Shorthand Dictation Legal Matters, Shorthand Dictations, etc. After that, I started preparing for SSC Steno 2022 Exam’ CBT. In the year 2022, there was vacancy on approx four thousand seats in SSC Steno Exam, largest number of vacancy in the history of SSC Steno, I guess. But, unfortunately, I was not able to apply for that exam because I was not completing the age criteria. I slipped the opportunity for just 1 month and 12 days. I was sad, but not so much hoping of applying for it the next year, but who knew, next year is going to the harsh one. While I was preparing for SSC steno 2023, in November 2022, DRDO steno vacancy was published. I applied for that but was not focusing on it seriously. Time passed and I sat in DRDO steno exam. While I was waiting for the result, in the meantime, EPFO Steno exam’s notification was released. I was in no mood to apply for that. 25th April 2023, the day when I was returning from my college after taking my 1^st years UG examination and suddenly my friend called me on phone and told me that DRDO Steno Tier one result is out and I got selected for Tier two. I was so happy. When I reached home, my elder brother suggested me to apply for EPFO Steno exam regardless of the fact that very less number of seats are available because you never know what will happen in future and following his advice I applied. Now I started preparing for skill test of DRDO, in the meantime, EPFO Stage one exam was held on 1^st August 2023 and after giving EPFO Steno Stage I exam I applied for SSC Steno 2023. So, I was preparing for written and skill both at the same time. After few days, exam EPFO stage 1 result was declared again I got selected. I was so happy that till now whichever exam I am sitting in, I am cracking it. which means SSC Steno will also be crack by me, but God had other plans. My preparation was at its peak and just before a week of my exam I got ill and diagnosed with dengue. I was like what? Why? Is this is real? 12th October 2023 my SSC steno exam day, the day which I will never forget, the day when I was supposed to get up and sit in the examination, I was not even able to sit on the bed on my own. Things were messed up. Everything was ended. All the practice, devotion, discipline, nothing mattered. I had not given the exam and I will not get selected. This was again and again rotating in my mind. The very next day, 13th October 2023, when I had not yet recovered, admit card of DRDO steno was released and my exam was to be held on 30th October 2023 and Centre was in New Delhi, which means, I had only 15 days left for the exam. I was in the bed rest for the past 10 days, still not recovered from dengue properly and I had to sit skill test of DRDO in the next 15 days. Forgetting everything which happened, I started preparing for skill test and finally sat in the examination and was hoping that my skill was so good and I will qualify it. After 2-3 days of giving the skill test of DRDO, admit card of skill test of EPFO was released and exam was on 17th November 2023.Again without taking any rest is started preparing for skill test, but the day when I reached examination hall on 17th November 2023, exam got cancelled due to unavoidable reasons I was so depressed at that time and went my village to refresh my mind.

23rd November 2023, when I was healing my pain, I got an email that my exam has been rescheduled and it will be held on 25th November 2024. I was a little scared but also happy that exam is being conducted so early after being cancelled. Sat in the exam and now no exams were ahead. It was time to wait for the result.

After a long wait of one month, on 25th December 2023, DRDO Steno final result was declared and unfortunately, I was not selected. I was so sad, so depressed. My father told me not to get worried, whatever is happening, it is for a reason, just don't stop, always stay motivated and carry on your preparation. SSC - didn't tempted, DRDO-failed, now it was time for EPFO’s final result. After a long with of 2 months, on 26th February 2024, EPFO Steno final result was declared and fortunately, my name was there in the merit list. I got AIR 14. I still remember that day, my father was telling me to study properly and work hard and suddenly I said “Ho Gaya, Job Ho Gaya”. And a small crystal shaped drop of tear slipped out of my eye. My parents were so happy, I called my elder brother, and told him that I made it. He was so happy. Everyone was so happy. I was on cloud nine and feeling so blessed.

So, whoever is reading this journey of mine, I will give only one piece of advice that “Ho Jyega”. Don’t stop trying. If you are truly working hard, success is awaiting for you ahead. Only you have to do is, just keep moving ahead.

IMPORTANT BOOKS FOR SSC STENO, 2024

Every aspirant who is preparing for Competitive Examination wants to get selected and secure a Government Job. Stenographer Gr. C and D is one of those exams, conducted by SSC, which assure you a job with good position. Many students keep searching for best study material. In this section we will get to know list of Important Books for this exam. These books are sufficient to score more than 150 marks, if read thoroughly.

SUBJECTS AND NO. OF BOOKS REQUIRED

There are three sections in this examination. Reasoning, General Awareness and English. From above image you can see the no. of books required for each subject. However, you do not need to study from all. Let's discuss them subject wise.

REASONING

The above two mentioned materials are enough for Reasoning. This topic is comparatively easy and scoring one. Getting 50/50 is achievable. Once you finish the Book mentioned at Sr. 1, you should start giving mock tests for speed building.

GENERAL AWARENESS

These books are the best for this exam or any other exam of SSC, DSSSB, ESIC, Railways, etc. First go through with Sr. 1, then you can use either Sr. 2 or Sr. 3. However, if you have less time left for preparation, book at Sr. 3 is the best to give you at least 15 marks.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

This section is the most important of all because of its weightage. You will get 100 questions of 100 marks and trust me securing 90+ is not that much difficult. First finish your grammar with Sr. 2 and then start mock test with Sr. 1 & 3. Book mentioned at Sr. 4 will help you in comprehension and pqrs whereas book mentioned at Sr. 5 is again for mock tests/practice sets. Book mentioned at Sr. 6 is very good for vocabulary portion.

Too many books will only confuse you. If you focus on the above mentioned books, you are definitely going to crack this exam with flying colours. For more details on this you can watch this video:

   As soon as I completed my 12th grade, I set my sights on a remarkable goal - clearing the SSC Stenographer exam. Determined to make my dream a reality, I immersed myself in rigorous preparation.

   After rigorous days and nights of self-study, I successfully cleared the written exam. However, the real test of my resilience came during the skill test. I prepared for my skill test from basics to high level through the LSA YouTube channel, which greatly helped improve my speed and accuracy.

   When I went to take the skill test, my hands were trembling as I began writing, and the dictation caught me completely off guard. Despite the unexpected challenge, I persevered and gave my best. However, later on, it turned out that the test was canceled due to some technical issues.

   Then, I decided to join Rakesh sir's paid batch, albeit for a short period, but it was incredibly beneficial. The environment there was similar to that of exam-center, and it significantly reduced my hesitation.

   I gave my skill test again but to my dismay, the test got canceled again after a month. I felt disheartened and overwhelmed with depression. However, My family and friends support me and I decided to muster the strength and began preparing once more. It was undoubtedly the toughest phase of my life, and my health took a toll. Nevertheless, I persevered and never lost hope. With unwavering determination, I conquered my hesitation and fears, eventually overcoming all obstacles. Finally, I emerged victorious, clearing both grades with flying colors.

   Sharing this part of my journey is essential because I want everyone to recognize that mental health along with physical health should never be overlooked or neglected. By including mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation in our lives, we can cultivate a healthy mindset and build resilience to face life's challenges with a positive outlook.

   I am immensely proud to share that my determination and hard work paid off when I received the news of my selection in the Central Secretariat(DoPT). What made this achievement even more special was that I became the youngest person to attain it.

   My friend Anu was also a constant pillar of support, providing invaluable assistance and motivation. With her help, and the backing of my family, I navigated the study materials, tackled practice tests, and kept my spirits high during moments of self-doubt.
And also thanks to my friends Manish & Puja and Vipul (my brother) for the right guidance and Akash, my steadfast companion, heartfelt thanks for being by my side through thick and thin and my shorthand teacher(Rakesh sir)

I am Ankita Tomer. I am here again writing my one more success story. It still feels like a dream. But dreams do come true. It gives me immense pleasure to be selected as Stenographer (Grade C) in the Ministry of External Affairs.

It is indeed the hard work, blessing and perseverance of my family and my teacher which encouraged me to achieve my goals. I started preparing for exams and failed many a times. But as it is said, work hard and make it possible. And I feel very proud to say that I have made it.

MEA is not just a Ministry for me. I always wanted to be selected in MEA because of only one reason. This was my father’s dream Ministry. And I can’t express how happy I am to say that “I have made it, now I will take my father to this Ministry.”

When I got selected as PA in Ministry of Consumer Affairs many results were awaited and it was Rakesh Sir, who said that wait and watch, you are going to get every post you have filled. And that is exactly what is happening with me. So far I have grabbed three posts, including SSC CGL. Sir has played an instrumental role in helping me crack all these exams. With his expert guidance and unwavering support, I was able to achieve my goal of clearing the exam with flying colours.

In my last success story I mentioned that, when I met Rakesh Sir, I felt he is the one who will help me to get my dream job. And today with his guidance and support I have got my dream job.

My name is Puja Kumari, and for the past five years, I've been relentlessly preparing for the SSC Stenographer examination. It has been a challenging and painful journey, filled with setbacks and disappointments. However, with unwavering support from my family and the invaluable guidance of my shorthand teacher, Rakesh Sir, I can proudly say that I have finally achieved my dream of being selected in CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs). This is my success story—a tale of perseverance, faith, and determination.

Chapter 1: The Humble Beginnings

In 2017, I cleared the preliminary round of the SSC Stenographer examination, and it seemed like the first step towards my dream was within reach. However, my excitement soon turned into disappointment when I failed to qualify in the skill test. Instead of giving up, I decided to use this setback as an opportunity to learn and grow.

Chapter 2: Facing Multiple Challenges

The following years, 2018, 2019, and 2020, proved to be exceptionally tough for me. Despite my best efforts, I could not even make it to the preliminary round, leaving me disheartened and questioning my abilities. The journey seemed arduous, and doubts began to creep into my mind.

Chapter 3: Finding Strength in Support

Amidst the struggles, the unwavering support of my family became the pillar of strength that kept me going. Their belief in me, even in the face of repeated failures, fueled my determination to keep trying. Additionally, Rakesh Sir, my shorthand teacher, proved to be a true mentor. His encouragement, guidance, and constant motivation helped me stay focused on my goal.

Chapter 4: Embracing Faith and Spirituality

As the challenges mounted, I turned to faith and spirituality for solace. My belief in a higher power, My Lord, and my gurudev, Shri Shri Anandamurti, played a significant role in keeping me grounded and positive during the tough times. Their blessings and divine intervention became my driving force.

Chapter 5: Triumph and Success

In 2022, I decided to give the SSC Stenographer examination one last shot, with renewed determination and a never-give-up attitude. I poured my heart and soul into my preparation, focusing on my strengths while continuously improving my weaknesses. And finally, the hard work paid off—I cleared both the preliminary round and the skill test, earning my place in CBIC.

Conclusion:

My journey to success in the SSC Stenographer examination has been nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster. Through failures, disappointments, and pain, I persevered with the blessings of My "Baba" Sadguru Shri shri Anand Murti ji, the guidance of Rakesh Sir, my Inspiration Kamal bhaiya and Manish and the unyielding support of my Papa and family members especially Naval Jijaji, and friends Anu and Vijay, and The challenges I faced along the way have made my achievement all the more special. Hey Everyone,

I am Ankita Tomer. It gives me immense pleasure to join as PA in Ministry of Consumer Affairs on the very first day of Navratri. It is indeed a blessing of god that I have achieved this today. But with this there are lot of sacrifices and hard work of my family which has led me to my dream job. I was always a good student with decent marks throughout my life. Everyone had a lot of expectations from me but I was not able to fulfil those expectations because of various reasons. I came very close to getting a job many a times but couldn’t, may be because of luck. I didn’t make it to the final list in many exams like SSC, CHSL, CGL and many other boards by 1,2 and even 0.5 marks many times.

One day I decided to be a stenographer and started practising and reading the book on my own and fell in love with stenography. My father (my guide and my inspiration) guided me and helped me in every possible way he could. My mother didn’t even for once ask me to do anything and said you concentrate on your studies, I will do the rest of the work. My brother was always there to help me. My husband and my In-laws helped me in every possible way they could. After a few days of practice I became confident that I could do it but it was still not enough. One day I met Rakesh Sir, and I immediately felt he is the one who will help me to get my dream job as I used to practice from his dictations on YouTube (Likho Steno Academy). After a wait of few months he contacted me and asked to join one of his batches. And after that there was no looking back. Rakesh Sir has played an instrumental role in helping me crack the stenographer exam. With his expert guidance and unwavering support, I was able to achieve my goal of clearing the exam with flying colours. Rakesh Sir's teaching style is unique and effective, making even the most challenging concepts easy to understand. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field, which he generously shares with his students. His attention to detail and focus on practical application are unparalleled, making him an exceptional mentor. Moreover, Rakesh Sir's personalized approach to teaching meant that he was always available to answer any questions I had and provided me with insightful feedback that helped me improve my skills. He encouraged me to practice regularly, offering helpful tips and strategies that boosted my confidence. It is said there is a woman behind every successful man. But in my case there is one woman (my mother) and men behind my success. Starting from my father, my brother, my husband, my father-in-law and last but not the least Rakesh Sir. I am immensely grateful for Rakesh Sir's guidance and expertise, without which I would not have been able to succeed in the Stenographer exam. His commitment to his students' success is truly inspiring, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to crack the exam.

My preparation journey starts with SSC Stenographer 2017. First of all the question arises why did I target for this exam? The reason for this is my brother who had been selected as a P.A. in Ministry of External Affairs. Since I had no preparation for SSC Steno 2017 exam, so I did not pass that exam. Then I decided to prepare diligently and got qualified in Prelims of SSC Steno 2018 Grade C and D both for the first time. Though my marks were close to the cut-off but the happiness of passing the exam was totally different. It motivated me a lot and then I started my skill test preparation (for speed) in a coaching institute where I used to take classes in the evening for one hour. It was seen passages of Sir Kailash Chandra Magazines.

But after 4-5 months I realized, I had to focus on unseen passages too. Then I searched on Youtube for dictations of Kailash Chandra magazines and subsequently got many channels and after taking dictations of different channels I got to know about Likho Steno Academy channel. I felt happy because the quality of the dictation was very good and I thought of completing each and every dictation of this channel. Somehow I could only managed to complete dictations of Kailash Chandra Magazines and the Previous year's dictations. The skill test was started and I got reviews from facebook page (OGS) that matters were coming from Kailash Chandra directly and I felt relaxed.

But in my examination, matter of Presidential Speech came and it was very difficult for me to cope with the skill test examination though I tried my level best but not enough. As a result, I failed in that examination. My error percentage for Grade D was 10% and Grade C was 6% because of Parliamentary matter (like KC). I was demotivated and broken a lot but after a few days I made up my mind again and then started my preparation for Prelims. But at that time, country was facing a great crisis of Covid-19 and for a period of around 1-2 months I could not manage to study at all. Then I habituated to the situation and I told myself firmly that I have to study diligently otherwise time will pass and I will again fail in the upcoming examination. We had a group of 2-3 friends who were preparing together and it helped me a lot. Then the examination day came and I started to attempt my paper but I was puzzled in General Intelligence (Reasoning) paper. The Paper was a bit calculative, lengthy and different from the previous years. So, I skipped questions that were new and calculative and went to General Awareness and English. After completion of examination, I was tense because it was not as good as I gave tests regularly in mock tests. Though I get qualified in both Grade C and D then the real challenge of passing the skill test came in my mind because of the failure in my last skill test. I then started preparing for President Speeches matter because of which I failed.

After 3-4 months of my preparation, I got a notification of Likho Steno Academy Youtube Channel regarding Special Speed Batch (online). I got enrolled myself in Likho Steno Academy and got to meet Rakesh Sir, founder of Likho Steno Academy, who addressed all of us cordially and made a very soothing environment in the class. After that day I used to ask all my doubts to Sir and got my solutions too. But somehow, I had a fear of not failure in my mind which I think almost all aspirants have within their journey of preparation. I always used to ask Rakesh Sir, kya mera skill or merit clear hojayega? In the starting days, Sir told me Yes dear, hojayega clear. But after few months, when I used to say about it, Sir only used to smile and I understood the inner meaning. After months of hard work and proper guidance from Rakesh Sir, I fortunately cleared my skill test of Grade D (1.63%) though I missed my Grade C skill test by 0.18%.

Then on 25^th May, we were taking class in evening and how fortunate it would be that suddenly Rakesh Sir himself told us that the Final result is out and then he himself checked our result one by one. It was a wonderful feeling for a teacher to search the names of his students in the final list and Sir told me that I am selected in Ministry of Coal. I was very happy I was crying with tears and I cannot describe what the feeling had that time. It was the wonderful moment I was waiting for for the last five years of my preparation. Then all my nearest and dearest ones congratulated me on my success. My inspiration, my brother was very happy after checking my name on the final list.

It was a roller coaster journey of my SSC Steno preparation. I feel gratitude to all my teachers (especially Rakesh Sir) from whom I got knowledge. I whole-heartedly thank my parents, brother, sister, relatives, friends and girlfriend who supported me through thick and thin.

Hey Everyone,

The journey to this goal was long, with many obstacles and detours but after countless challenges, itʻs finally coming to fruition. I will remain grateful to Likho Steno Academy for this.

LSA youtube channel had helped me in my first attempt of Skill test 2018 where I was able to clear Grade D. The dictations were so helpful. I was also taking offline classes but somehow I failed to catch where should I improve. In my second attempt luckily I got the chance to prepare under the guidance of Rakesh Sir. Thanks to him for sharing his knowledge so that I can apply it and get these tremendous results.

I cleared Grade D and C in 2019. My mistakes have reduced which were earlier more than 5%. I am quite confident now in writing moderate to difficult passages with accuracy at a given speed.

2019 SSC steno exam has tested our patience a lot by making a huge delay in entire procedure but still the entire Skill test preparation journey was the best experience for me. The best part about Rakesh Sir's dictations is the fluctuations. I hope I will make best use of this knowledge, of all his guidance and tips in future too. Thank you team Likho Steno Academy.

Hey Everyone,

I am Dinesh Kumar and today I am over the moon, because today I received my appointment letter on the auspicious day of Diwali, and I cannot be happier. I got selected as Stenographer grade II in National Water Development Agency, Ministry of Jal Shakti. I'll try to keep it short and try to motivate you all to go for your dream and trust your abilities no matter what, however slim the chances are, and however high the odds are stacked against you.

I belong to a middle class family from New Delhi, my father works in The Ministry of Home Affairs and one of my elder siblings is a govt. officer too. I completed my graduation B.Com (hons) from Delhi University in 2017, I have been an average student all my life. I had been preparing and appearing for several govt. exams like SSC, Banking, Defence, etc. since 2018. I failed many times but I took my failures as lessons and came back stronger after every failure. Then my father told me about stenography which was completely new to me, and frankly I thought it was rediculous, but I gave it a shot. I started learning steno in 2019 and I wasn't too hopeful that stenography is for me, but I kept learning and practicing even though I didn't like it. When I completed the basic part and got to the speed phase, then i started liking it, and I got a little hopeful that I can get a job as a stenographer.

By the time I got to the speed phase COVID was in full swing and all the coaching centers were closed and lockdowns were imposed. I used to drive 30 Kms everyday to my coaching center, but everything was shut down. Then I started looking for dictations online, and I stumbled upon LikhoSteno Academy's Youtube channel. Their kailash chandra playlist, previous year playlists were a godsend for me. I did it everyday, several times a day. I wrote and I still write 3 dictations daily and I read 2 and transcribe 1 everyday. I brought my mistakes to 1-2%, and basically that gave me the confidence that I can do these KC matters easily and can qualify the skill tests.

The post I got selected for, there were only 5 vacancies out of which only 3 were unreserved and 2 reserved. For these 5 vacancies about 3,300 candidates applied. My friends and even my teacher told me not to apply and waste money, but I believed in myself and my abilities and kept pushing myself to stay focused and crack the exam. I was not intimidated by the numbers and you shouldn't be either. Even my dad told me it's a waste of time and resources, but I remained firm on my belief on myself. The message I want to covey to you all is that it doesn't matter what people say, if you think you have the capacity to do it, then trust your inner self and go for it. The look on my father’s face when I told him that I got selected was priceless.

If I can do it, trust me anyone can do it. You never know you might be the person who can do it all.

Stay motivated, stay focused, be healthy, adopt a healthy lifestyle and most importantly TRUST and BACK yourself. YOU WILL ACHIEVE WHAT YOU AIM FOR.

I, Saloni pandey, have pleasure to share with you that i have been selected as Stenographer Grade - D in DDA . For this, I want to thank my Father for his evergreen support. I am blessed to have Satish Chabbra sir and Rakesh Nautiyal Sir as my mentors throughout these 2 years of practice. So, here I would like to share my journey from being a struggler to a Stenographer through Likho Steno Academy.

‌I was born and bred in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. As the youngest one, I was/am a calm and casual type of personality so had never stressed out for the career. So, I wanted to pursue my career in media. But my father had a single-minded will for a govt job and said " Jo bhi karna hai karlo, aage karni toh govt job he h". So, I was well prepared for it from the starting with a thought "padhai he toh hai ho jayegi". And continued my job with this. Then comes the season of a real action where I have to prove myself what my father wanted. I decided to quit my job and start preparing for govt exams. After appearing in around 10 written exams (SSC/BANK/DEFENCE) , I was screwed up and got to know the difference in academic and the competitive exams where you don't need to only pass that exam but have to take a long shot. Then, I centere dly studied, living apart from my hometown, for about 2 years.

While I was appearing in every exam, I was uncertainly selected for the ssc stenographer 2019 exam skill test as I thought stenography is similar to CHSL/CGL, where you need to be good at Mathematics and English. Then my father told me about stenography, knowing this I decided to take coaching for skill test, which was to be held in November 2019, and then Satish Chabbra Sir was the person who tried to cope with my pace as I hurriedly wanted to pass skill test within just a five months period. After the basic offline classes, Chabbra sir recommended me Likho steno Academy as the best channel to increase your speed online and I started taking online classes.Then, result of skill test was announced and again It was a failure for me and I saw Rakesh sir listing selected candidates name in his videos and that day i promised him next year you will get my name too , I promise. So, I was too happy because I understood the rhythm and promised myself to get succeed in next steno skill test. Written test was then a piece of cake for me, I just had to improve my shorthand. By the time, I made shorthand my own recipe and started applying for stenographer exams only like this is what I am made for.

‌Finally, after appearing in DDA skill test, I had the confidence to get selected with an overwhelming attitude.

‌At last, I would say just be patient, dedicated and forget everything everyone till you don't achieve what you dreamt for.

I, Yash Rohit, am delighted to share with you that I have been selected Stenographer Grade D in CBIC department through SSC Stenographer 2018 examination. I want to thank my mentor Piyush Sir who taught me stenography, my grandmother who helped me to get the job and Rakesh Sir and Likho Steno Academy for the guidance related to exams and the dictations. Through the platform of Likho Steno Academy I want to share my success story with you.

Don’t have the Plan- B

I was born in born in Ahmedabad city as the eldest child of my parents. My father is doing private job and my mother is housewife. I have one sister and one brother. As we were born middle class family, my father could not afford our education in English medium school. So I had my school education in Gujarati medium. In school I was above average student with distinction marks. After class X I decided to be an Engineer. I took the course of Computer Engineer in Diploma but when I went to college I came to know that the course will totally be in English. The sudden change of the medium was a setback for me and I got failed in the initial years. I was distressed by my performance because this was my first failure. I wanted to quit engineering. But somehow my father managed to persuade me to complete diploma. I agreed and I did so and got second class in Diploma.

Then, after completing Diploma I did not want to study anymore. I decided to do job. I started job as a Desktop Engineer in a Private Company. But, after the sour experience of engineering all my interest in this field was wiped out. After 2 years of job I decided to quit the job and do something that I like. I started my career in altogether different field as Sales Executive in Vodafone Postpaid Department. I liked the job and I was making good amount of money. After getting 4 years of experience I started a venture with my 2 colleagues. I was very enthusiastic about the new venture. But this sweet dream turned into nightmare. Within a year for a number of reasons our venture was about to fail. We tried our best but all our efforts went in vein. We shut down our venture. I decided to take break for some time and think what to do next.

By the time this was happening with me one day my sister came to me and told me that she got the Government job in Gujarat Government. I was very happy and sad at the same time because my sister was appearing in the exams for the last three years and she got the job and I had wasted almost 7 years of my life doing different things and failed in everything. But, she inspired me and I decided that one day I will get the Government job, too. I started preparations in my late 25s and I was little bit nervous what would happen if I fail in this too? A big question mark was there. But, I had made up my mind that no matter what happens if I had to do the job again then it should be the Government job. One day, my sister suggested to me that I should pursue career in stenography as she knew a little about it and she knew I could do it. I agreed with her and started finding a coaching institute in my city.

Then, I met with Piyush Sir who is my mentor also. He trained me well and cleared my basics. But, as I continued classes I had no savings left. I sold my chain and lucky in order to pay the fees. It gave me temporary relief but it was not sufficient. But I loved stenography so much that I didn’t want to leave it in the mid way. Then I told my grandmother that I want to continue steno classes and if she could help me pay fees. She first scolded me why didn’t you come first to me and she happily agreed to pay whatever my fees. Now, I had just one focus. I had appeared for the SSC Stenographer 2018 prelims exam. I had finished basics by the result of prelims exam. I had cleared the prelim and now I wanted to focus on skill test. But, I knew one hour of offline coaching would not be sufficient to clear the exam.

One day when I was watching videos related to stenography on YouTube and I came to know about Likho Steno Academy. I attended Rakesh Sir’s first dictation and at that time I decided to follow his channel for further online guidance. His KC dictations, President’s speeches, Prime Minister’s speeches were so helpful and especially the fluctuations gave me confidence that I can pass any exam of stenography.

Here, I want to mention an incident regarding last minute preparations of skill test. When I had left something about 15-20 days left in my skill test one bad thing happened to me. Piyush Sir who was teaching me offline his wife had an operation and thus he could not provide me dictations. And these were the crucial days for me. I was worried. But I had the privilege of online dictations of Likho Steno Academy and it gave me confidence that no matter what I will make it to the exam.

When I came out of the examination centre after taking exam I was confident that I will clear the exam and the same has happened. I passed SSC Stenographer 2018 Grade D examination and got selected in CBIC department.

In the End, I sincerely want to thank my Grandmother for the help and support, my parents who stood by my every decision, my sister who gave valuable suggestion, Piyush Sir who has taught me stenography and finally Likho Steno Academy and Rakesh Sir who has provided the support and guidance.

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) conducts Stenographer every year having different post codes. The wait of aspirants is over and final result of DSSSB Stenographer is out.

Joining Process in Govt. Job

There were total 256 vacancies. The written examination was conducted between 04/10/2019 and 10/10/2019. Out of more than 11,000 candidates, only 1947 candidates were shortlisted to appear in Stenography and Typing Skill Test. The Skill test was a very long process and it took 26 days to get it completed. Only 1294 candidates appeared in Skill Tests and based on the performance of candidates the final merit was prepared. The result of Skill Test was announced on 20/04/2021 and only 425 candidates could qualify it. Candidates were anxious because they didn't know whether they will be selected or not because no. of candidates were more than the no. of qualified candidates.

Technical Resignation - Click if you are in Govt job and joining DSSSB

According to Likho Steno Academy, the Final merit for UR should have been 125-127 and the calculation proved to be true. Here is the final merit:-

UR - 127.75, OBC- 102.27, SC- 113.64, ST- 63.89.

Candidates whose name is not in the list should not worry because there is a wait list panel and it is valid upto 16/06/2020.

It has been observed that many candidates who are already in some other service don't join and hence create chances for candidates in wait list. So, candidates are advised to wait upto the validity of wait list panel and prepare for other exams as well.

Hello everyone I am Govind Vashishtha selected in Niti Aayog through SSC Steno-2018. First of all I want to thank Rakesh Sir for his exact and efficient guidance for skill test for which i was begging everywhere.

My story might sound filmy to many but yes everything that I'm going to write here is true and I do want to mention everything because the purpose of this concept of sharing stories is to motivate or charge others who are preparing and no one knows what point will motivate others.. so i will share everything that i have gone through.

In school days i was a backbencher totally inspired by the song "Yaar Anmullle" by Sharry Maan, unaware of syllabus even unaware of books. You can understand it with the fact that only 2 or 3 of my friends out of 10 20 were managed to pass in all 5 subjects in 12th. Fortunately i was one of them and i still dont know how. But when the result came and i reached in front of my father, he was very much disappointed and disheartened because he had so much expectations from me and i dont know the reason yet. But that disappointed face of my father made me realise my mistakes and i decided to study. But the question was what would I study then? The school was over.. then i dropped for a year and prepared for jee mains coz science wala to wahi krta h! I started studying but one year is not enough to make a moraine land fertile. Hence I didnt get any reputed college and the pressure of bountiful amount of fees that i had paid for coaching was not allowing me to go for any jholachap college. What to do then?

From somewhere I heard about SSC CHSL it was like magical to me that "exam nikalo naukri pao" no need for wasting 3 4 years in college etc etc. THOUGH IT WAS A MIRAGE.

Again.. the amount of fees that i had paid for jee mains coaching forced me not to ask for more money from father for SSC coaching(the most idiotic decision for a person like me). Then I purchased that magical book - "Arihant Last 10 Years paper" and stupid me thought that i could clear the xam with that then admit cards came and my centre was in Jaipur, i was excited and hopefull coz i had finished a book for the very first time in life then the day had come i went to the centre which was reminding me of the movie NH 10. The paper started and it was not a bouncer but beamer i was injured and went out on stretcher. THE MIRAGE WAS BROKEN.

Then A Devdoot came in my life a distant uncle working in AFHQ as steno he told me about SSC Steno and about some books to prepare with. The year was 2016, I came back to Delhi purchased those books and started preparing for written but unaware of skill, I set my target to 120 coz the 2015's cutoff was around 105 for Grade C. I scored 118 and the cutoff was 121 for Grade C and 114 for Grade D but i was happy "for a little time perhaps" coz for me skill test was the iceberg under water. I went to a local shorthand class and they told me that it takes about a year. FALLEN FROM THE SKY STUCK IN THE PALM. But left with no option i purchased the basic book for shorthand and finished it at home in a month. Failed in the skill test obviously! Again written for 2017, target was 135, scored 138 but the cutoff for Grade C was 141 and 135 for Grade D but OK. I went to many shorthand classes locally.. wasted precious time but later realised that yhan se nahi hoga. Then I went INA.. 2 3 months before skill, Kamal Sir helped me so much i somehow started writing at 90-100 wpm. The skill tests had started.. many of my classmates appeared and i was waiting for mine. Suddenly the news came that the exam was cancelled.

I was OK coz i will get more time but I was unaware that if SSC repeats its xam it takes revenge. The day had come i went to the examination hall with one of my friend and steno classmate we were very sure to clear the xam even talking to buy office bags while returning. Trial passage was soo easy that made us very happy, hopeful and we can feel office bags on our shoulders but the main dictation punctures our hopes with content like masala dosa, tainga dal, dhokla, sarso da saag, govn policies. AGAIN FAILED!!

Now exam for 2018, target was "jada se jada", joined library started preparation for written. But something disasterous was waiting. My mother left us 20 days before the written. The most eager person who wanted to watch me going office was my mother. I was clueless.. almost brainless. 13 14 days had gone in rituals then just last week for xam. Then again that devdoot uncle came to meet me and said no one cares what happened to you.. no one will ask you the reason for your failure and those words helped me to focus again and because of my mother's ashirwad i scored 157 cleared both cutoffs for first time. I just wanted to do that for my mother. I kept practising for skill test and started writing at 120 wpm. But yes one more climax was waiting. Timings for my skill tests were 9 AM for grade C and 1 30 PM for Grade D. I went there at 8 15 the scrutiny of documents started and i was stopped at the gate because the DOB on my VOTER ID card was not in DDMMYYYY format. I used the same VOTER ID for 2016 written and skill, 2017 written and skill, and 2018 written but there were some new rules i think.. i requested, i cried, i shouted but nothing happened. Then i came back home and took other ID proofs with me and gave Skill Test for Grade D and finally got selected.
This is not a success story at all, clearing a 12th based exam in 3 attempts is not a success but I am sharing this to share What Not To Do. Don't copy my strategy... if u find any and Don't Give Up. Keep Studying for u.. for ur parents.. enjoy studying.

So, my journey started after getting motivation from my father’s hard work. Since childhood I was a bright student, I often understood things in a quick manner and I always scored good marks and participated in extracurricular activities. I love singing (since my throat is not made for it) and cricket which I love the most. During my Secondary school days due to high involvement in Cricket I failed in 1^st Semester of academics. As my teachers knew about me so they motivated me towards studies. After the guidance of my teacher I scored a decent score. Then my father asked me to prepare for polytechnic entrance which I cleared and got Admission in Delhi Govt. Clg. I opted for Electronics and Communication Engineering Stream where I became a barsaati medhak (studies when exam comes) and cleared my Polytechnic Diploma with 82 per cent even I topped in final semester exams.

Then I decided to prepare for Govt. Job exams as I wanted to stay with my family. My all friends, except one, decided to get enrolled in B.Tech. After getting my diploma I had taken admission in NIOS for Senior Secondary (12^th) and passed with decent score (70 per cent) within two weeks of preparation. A common friend from my Diploma days played a major role in my career. On a social media post he quoted “top maarne se kuch nahi hota example bhati (my sub caste)” which pinched me and I decided to prove myself. After getting advice from my father’s friend I joined Stenography Institute in Mukharjee Nagar by Manish Kumar who is really a hard working man and mentor in making my future bright. I cleared written (Computer Based Test) in a single hit with just 2 months preparation without any coaching class.

Besides my stenography classes Rakesh Nautiyal Sir’s YouTube channel Likho Steno Academy also helped me which further sharpened my shorthand skills and I cleared the steno exam SSC STENO-2018 in my very first attempt. As I cleared for Grade C and D both, I preferred D to get posted in Delhi. My Dada (grand father) often said to my Father that one day your son will become an Officer and right now I’m on a way to it and with the help of my Lord Raam ji, parents, and gurus I will definitely get it. Now, I am posted in Ministry of Science and Technology as Stenographer ‘D’ (DoPT CSSS).

CBIC Stenographer Grade C 2018 State Preference Form

The result of Stenographer Grade C & D examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission was declared lately. Candidates, after getting selected for various departments, were waiting for their joining. Many departments like DoPT, MEA, AFHQ, IB, etc. have already started joining process. The candidates selected for joining in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) were waiting for this since long. Their wait is over now as CBIC has asked for State preference through their Steno-I Options Calling form.

Many candidates desire to be posted in their home town or their home state. But, departments like DoPT, MEA, AFHQ, Railway, Election Commission generally give posting in Delhi only. CBIC has many offices across the country that's why candidates have option to choose from states/cities who have given vacancies.

Fill your preferred Cadre Controlling Authority and Code of Cadre Controlling Authority properly so as to avoid any mistake.

Candidates need to send their preference form in the desired proforma given by the department latest by 31.03.2021.

Below are the list of documents need to be attached with email.

1. Self-attested copy of Admit Card issued by SSC (given at the time of examination, any, if not latest)

2. Self-attested copy of ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID.

Don not attach anything else. Don't send email if you are in doubt. Option form is very easy. Don't make any mistake.

No preference form will be accepted sent by Post or By hand. Only way to send preference form is email.

Please Note: Candidates will not have any right to protest against their selected preference, if not given. The process will purely be on rank as per result.

DSSSB PERSONAL ASSISTANT & JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER VACANCY

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is a recruitment board that recruits staff through various exams for various posts under the departments of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). The Posts such as MTS, LDC (now JSA), Head Clerk (now ASO), Accounts Officer, Stenographer, Personal Assistant, Pharmacist, Radiographer, etc.

In this blog we will get to know latest vacancies for various departments through DSSSB Stenographer Examination

Two departments have given vacancies for Personal Assistant & Junior Stenographer (English). Departments are Delhi Jal Board & Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd respectively.

Number of Vacancies are as follows:

Personal Assistant - EWS (08), UR (36), OCB (22), SC (12), ST (06) Total 84

Junior Stenographer - EWS (01), UR (08), OCB (03), SC (01), ST (00) Total 13

There will be two stages in this examination.

The 1st stage is Written Examination which has Objective Type questions.

The 2nd stage is Stenography Skill Test and Typing Skill Test.

Written Examination

This is the 1st stage of this examination process which has 05 subjects. Let's talk about them through this table.

All questions will be of Multiple Choice and there will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. It is advised that aspirants should attempt only that question in which the aspirant is 100% sure. Always remember, attempting more questions will never get your selection but limited questions with 100% accuracy will always lead you to selection. My suggestion is that your preparation should be of that level that you can attempt at least 140 questions correctly. It is seen in previous years that the final merit never reached this level. So, to be at safer side you should attempt at least these many questions. There is no concept of passing in each subject. The cutoff will be made on overall score.

Once written examination is over, the commission will issue a cutoff and list of candidates who have cleared the cutoff of written examination. They will be called for Stenography and Typing Skill Test.

Shorthand Skill Test & Typing Skill Test

It is seen that a lot of aspirants mix this term and don't get exact information that there will be two different tests. One is Shorthand Test and the other is Typing Test.

Shorthand Skill Test : For Personal Assistant - The speed of dictation will be 100 words per minute. A passage of 1000 words in 10 minutes by a dictator. The candidates will have to transcribe their shorthand on computer. There will be not specific software on which the aspirants have to transcribe. It is simple NOTEPAD application, however, a dedicated software may be used in future.

For Junior Stenographer (English) - The speed of dictation will be 80 words per minute. A passage of 800 words in 10 minutes by a dictator. The candidates will have to transcribe their shorthand on computer within 50 minutes.

Typing Skill Test : There is no mention of separate typing test in the advertisement, however, DSSSB takes a separate test in which the candidates will be given a passage of 400 words in hard copy (sheet) which the candidates have to type on NOTEPAD application on computer. This test will also be of 10 minutes because the required typing speed is 40 words per minute. If a candidate completes those 400 words before the time is over, he/she can repeat the passage or can check mistakes. There will be no spell check option available.

There will not be separate typing test for Junior Stenographer (English)

Both these tests are of qualifying nature which will have no impact on final merit.

Both tests will take place on same day back to back.

The mistakes allowed in Shorthand Skill Test are as follows :-

UR - 05%, OBC, SC, ST - 7%)

Once this test is completed, the commission will issue a list of candidates who successfully qualified the Shorthand and Typing Skill Tests and will be considered for final merit.

SUCCESS STORY OF CHETAN SHARMA

There’s a certain peace in finding what you were looking for after having lost everything else, a certain wonder in experiencing joy after immense gloom and a certain triumph in winning after countless defeats. This is my story, the story of a boy who fell deep in dark places and then recollected his broken pieces to soar to his dream job. It might seem a little long, but that’s because unlike most success stories, it is replete with more daunting failures than poetic success.

In all honesty, I was a model student majority of my school-life – the class-monitor, student body, popular and prominent kind – always winning most of the co-curricular competitions I’d participate in ranging from sports, oratory, theatre, music to every other category you can imagine, and bringing countless accolades to school. I’d manage podium finish in class rankings almost every year, with a perfect 10 CGPA in class X. Last minute studies even allowed me a 90.75% in Class XII considered decent back then.

Then comes the downfall part. After Class XII, I decided to pursue the then latest fad of Bachelor of Management Studies course. One of the reasons I chose to be a Manager was because I had always wanted to wear suits to office – a childish dream, I know. I enrolled in a preparation institute with a hefty fees that obviously my parents paid, but I had lost the sincerity & dedication of preparing for any exam. And that showed when the results came. I didn’t even make it to the finish line, let alone podium finish while my best friend, whom I had introduced to the course in the first place, got into the best college. First major failure. I locked myself in a room and cried for a whole day while being crushed under the guilt of having wasted so much money of my parents. Consequently, I got admission in Economics Hons. in Delhi University and despite the recent failure, still continued on my co-curricular inclination with full time theatre, organising fests and participating in every competition I could get my hands on, leaving studies completely at bay. If you want to be successful, don’t forget how it feels to be a failure and don’t forget how much you hate being a failure like I forgot then. So this time I my new muse was CGL preparation. Again a hefty fees left the pocket of my parents and I was again partying and jollying around while missing classes and living the life any college going guy would dream of. No points for guessing, a chunky file of certificates, trophies and transient fame did nothing for my CGL attempt and I failed even the Pre Exam. Failed again. But then the three years of college were about to get over and real life was about to start. I didn’t sit in any of the campus placements in my aloofness and by the time I realised that most people were going for a Master’s Degree or fresher job, it had been at least 6 months past the last date to even apply for Master’s examinations. Another failure. It was in that moment that it dawned upon me that in all probability, my life and future were already doomed and I panicked big-time. All the old trauma of past failures came back cumulated to haunt me and I felt like I was drowning in life while everyone else had a boat that was taking them to their paradise.

But I was not done and defeated in spirit yet. My family counselled me, picked me up and pointed me towards Government exams once again. They supported me to try stenography this time. For months I learned the skill of stenography, still a little callous in the beginning of the classes, even left it mid-way a couple of times, but this time something in my heart had changed. I was in love with the skill and somehow I kept getting back even after leaving it, kept getting up even after failing and all just because of the love for this amazing art of stenography.

For TWO AND A HALF YEARS, I confined myself to the four walls of my home/institute and only studied stenography. I didn’t see any of my friends, I didn’t even celebrate my birthdays. But the most difficult and life-changing thing I did was to completely shut down my social media for the whole of two and a half years. I lost nearly all of my friends, I lost all of my social skills, so much so that I transformed from being a life-long confident extrovert to an under-confident introvert. But that was a pivotal step. Anyone who knows anything about steno will now understand the magnitude of hard work that I did for this exam. I studied for 6-8 hours a day for Tier-I exam. I took AT LEAST FIVE 1000 words transcriptions, every single day, add to that at least four 1000 word dictations for reading and sometimes even more. I’d always strive for less than 1% mistakes and I have even finished one whole volume of Kailash Chandra book in a single day. My parents gave me dictations till 2am in the morning. I have taken dictations till my hands have started to shake. I would sandwich my hands between my body and the bed to sleep because they’d pain so much that I couldn’t sleep otherwise. I have cried with tears in despair upon not getting a single job offer even after having attained a speed of 120 wpm and I have spent countless nights getting counselled by my family so that I do not go into depression. But I never lost faith in God even at the lowest time of my life. I trudged forward and even challenged my father that I’d have more Offer Letters than him one day even though I wasn’t getting a single one despite giving every possible exam and tooth & nail efforts.

And it was exactly two years ago on this very day, 8^th of Feb 2019 that I joined my first Govt. Job, straight in the Supreme Court of India. All the hard work that I did even when I saw no ray of hope then suddenly started to bear fruits aplenty. And with utmost humility I can say that I have now worked in all the three arms of the Government Machinery – Judiciary, Executive and Legislative. I have been offered amazing jobs by the most premier institutes in the country, from Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Ministry of Culture, Press Council of India to Ministry of Defence and finally, my dream job since always – Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India where I currently work! Once I took a photo in front of Parliament that I would work here some day and then I took another photo at the same spot on the day I actually fulfilled my biggest dream and joined Rajya Sabha. I come here to work every day with a heart filled with immense gratitude and never have I ever dreaded Mondays here. I am finally where my heart wanted to be, still working hard to be the best Personal Assistant in the whole of office and preparing for departmental exam. The cherry on the cake? I get to wear a suit to office every single day!

I still am one offer letter short of my father, but my family is immensely proud of me nonetheless. This journey of mine wouldn’t have been 10% of the success it is today without the constant, multifarious support of my family, especially my younger sister, who were all always my biggest supporters, mental counsellors, financial and emotional support and the very reason of my success. I always say that whatever good I get, is 50% because of my family’s blessings and the rest 50% because of God. Added to this was the endless wisdom and guidance of my teachers, strong support of friends and in absolute honesty, the channel of Likho Steno Academy. I am fortunate that I know Mr. Rakesh Nautiyal not only as a teacher, but also a personal friend and even colleague during my time in the Ministry of Defence. The utter quality of his classes, the clarity of his dictations, the variety in his content and the consistency in his videos are undoubtedly unparalleled by any other Youtube channel. I do not have words to quantify how much help his “Previous Year Dictations” video series was to me when I was full of fear and uncertainty during my first attempt, something that was not available anywhere else. Many of us think of becoming a teacher of Stenography but it is only someone like him who can devote his leisure time to the betterment of others and carry the responsibility of the future of so many of the aspiring students in his hands with his consistency, who can actually be a GURU of our field. I thank you Rakesh -- my friend, my teacher and my guide for the selfless service you are doing.

Friends, and if you’re reading this, the only two biggest pieces of advice I can give you are to remove the word “Complacency” from your life and to shut off social media till you get your job. WHAT IS TECHNICAL RESIGNATION AND ITS BENEFITS?

In this post we will understand what is technical resignation and its benefits. Before moving forward to Technical Resignation let us understand the basic difference between a Normal Resignation and a Technical Resignation.

In Normal Resignation the employee does not get pensionary benefits from service rendered in past whereas in Technical Resignation the employee gets benefits of service rendered in past. Let us understand everything about Technical Resignation in detail.

Technical Resignation

The resignation is treated as a technical formality where a Government servant has applied through proper channel for a post in the same or some other Department, and is on selection, required to resign from the previous post for administrative reasons.

What is the Criteria to avail benefit of past service

1. The Government servant should intimate the details of such application immediately on her joining;

2. The Government servant at the time of resignation should specifically make a request, indicating that she is resigning to take up another appointment under Government for which she had applied before joining the Government service;

3. The authority accepting the resignation should satisfy itself that had the employee been in service on the date of application for the post mentioned by the employee, his/her application would have been forwarded through proper channel.

Some Major Benefits of Technical Resignation

1. Carry forward of Leave benefits - Earned Leaves and Half Pay Leaves get carry forward in another department.

2. Carry forward of LTC - Eligibility period will include time spent in past service.

3. Pay Protection - Pay gets fixed as per past service in case switching on same grade pay/pay level. Eligibility of past service for reckoning of the minimum period for grant of Annual Increment.

4. New Pension Scheme - Balance gets carry forward to the new office.

5. Need for Medical examination - If joining new service within 6-12 months then there is no need for Medical Examination, however, if department wants then the employee has to undergo medical examination.

6. Transfer of Service Book from parent Department to present Department - Same service book will be transferred to new department.

7. Verification of Character & Antecedents - Also known as Police Verification. If joining new service within 12 months then there is no need for Verification of Character & Antecedents, however, if department wants then the employee has to undergo.

8. Lien on a post - Once an employee completes two years probation period and gets confirmed in service, he/she can enjoy benefit of Lien. It represents the right of a Government employee to hold a regular post, whether permanent or temporary, either immediately or on the termination of the period of absence.

9. Pension benefits:- Resignation from Government service with a view to secure employment in a Central public enterprise with proper permission will not entail forfeiture of the service for the purpose of retirement/terminal benefits. In such cases, the Government servant concerned shall be deemed to have retired from service from the date of such resignation and shall be eligible to receive all retirement/terminal benefits as admissible under the relevant rules applicable to him in his parent organization.

So, if you are a government employee and want to avail yourself the benefit of past service then always apply through proper channel and after selection tender your technical resignation rather than normal resignation.
