When I am using my laptop I put a pillow under it because it gets too hot on my lap. This, in turn, makes it get hot because then the fan is blocked. So I don't keep it on my lap very long. I usually end up sitting at my kitchen table being uncomfortable.

Honesty Time: I am 38 going on 39 and my wrinkles are beginning to show. I am noticing more lines as the years add up. I know when I was younger I never thought this would bother me. Well reality check: IT DOES!

I was recently given the opportunity to review Alpha Hydrox Anti-Wrinkle Enhanced Cream with 10% Glycolic AHA , from Neoteric Cosmetics. The AHA stands for alpha hydroxy acids. AHAs are found naturally in foods like citrus fruits, nuts, and sour milk. The AHA used in the Enhanced Cream is made from sugarcane.

The Enhanced Cream is:
* For normal skin types
* Effective pH 4
* Helps prevent fine lines & wrinkles
* Refines texture & evens tone
* Improves elasticity
* Fragrance, oil & paraben-free

I was given the 2 oz. size to try and the instructions say to apply it day and night after cleansing your face. It also states if you are using it during the daytime to use a sunscreen as some irritation may occur.

I was not able to get pictures that would show an actual difference of my face (as you know by now I am a horrible photographer) but I do notice a difference. I feel a slight tingle when I first put it on. My face feels tighter right away. If you have ever used a mud or clay mask for your face, this is what I would compare the tightening feeling to. I think my skin looks and feels better, as it also exfoliates dead skin cells. Another thing I have noticed is I am having less breakouts. My face is toner and smoother. I have been using it for about 3 weeks and I think it is a keeper.

A few years ago I became a label reader. I had kids, and became concerned about the food they were eating. I got tired of trying to pronounce the ingredients in the foods that I bought everyday and decided to make a change. Now, mind you I still buy some of the foods...I have not found a replacement for everything. But I do have a new snack that I absolutely LOVE!

Simply 7 is a brand that was created for the same reasons I mentioned above. They wanted to be able to pronounce the products in the food they ate, and know that they were healthy for you. AND they did not want the food to taste like cardboard. This is something I have had a hard time finding..a tasty snack that I can feel good serving to my family. The lentil chips seem a little heartier to me. I could eat the creamy Dill for a meal they are soooo good! I think they are my favorite.

Hummus Chips: Sea Salt, Spicy Chili Pepper, Roasted Red Pepper, & Tomato Basil
I think my favorite here would be the Spicy Chili Pepper. Although I love Spicy they were just a tad spicy and smokey so my kids enjoyed eating them as well.

Overall Verdict...
They are amazing. I love them and will definitely be a customer. I am still having a hard time picking my favorite. If you haven't tried them...you should. All of my family & friends that tasted them thought they were Awesome too!

Are you a HUGE fan of Star Wars? We are here. My son loves the movies and any time they come on television it is a "must" watch for us. Both of my kids love to dress up and play in different costumes. I was given the opportunity to review a Star Wars costume, thanks to Costume Discounters and Tomoson.com.

Ola! Granola Say Hello to...YUM! Review and Giveaway

By now you know that I love to try healthy things. My kids are picky eaters, especially the older they get. Thanks as always to The Pitch List, I was offered the opportunity to review Ola! Granola. This was an easy YES for me because I am a granola lover. I like to eat it on the go, as a cereal with milk and fruit, on top of yogurt, in a trail mix (that I make myself)... There are so many ways to enjoy granola.

What I think about Ola! Granola:
First, the taste is so YUMMY! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, like cinnamon, vanilla, orange, sea salt...just to name a few. I love that I can pronounce all of the ingredients. There was nothing in it that I had never heard of. My favorite part: The fact that it says "Non-GMO" in the oil that they use. It is Egg, Dairy, and Soy FREE. Ola! Granola is hand baked with 100% Natural Ingredients. And best of all...My Kids (I checked they were mine) LOVED it.

There are 3 great flavors:

Cranberry Orange Pecan (my favorite)

I am always searching for products that I can feel good about using for my family. I know this is a sentence I use over and over on this blog, but it is true...I would much rather find a natural cure than use something prescribed. Not that I don't use prescribed medicine...I would just rather use them in conjunction with each other.

I don't know what the deal was but my kids and I had the worst sicknesses this winter. One after another...it seems someone was sick all winter long. I was sent the TriLight Health Lympha Rub to review and see how we liked it. What I like about the Lympha is that there is NO Alcohol, Sugar, Salt, Starch, Yeast, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Milk, Egg or Preservatives. They use a liquid light process that makes their products effective.

The Lympha Rub is a combination of essential oils (Lemon, Cajeput, Lavender, Clove, Myrrh, & Chamomile) that are used to help swollen lymph nodes or sore throats. You simply rub it onto your neck, spine, lymph nodes, or wherever soreness is present and it reduces/eliminates the pain. You can also apply one drop to the back of the throat to help with coughs.

We did have a bug that caused us to have a sore throat and swollen glands. I applied the TLH Lympha Rub to my daughter's throat and she did say it felt better. I tried it on me and I had to use it a few times before I felt better...but it did work. I love the smell. I could just sit and sniff it and feel better :) I did try it in the back of my throat and the taste was quite strong for me. BUT...it worked even better this way. Much Faster.

Wraptastic: Oh YEAH! #AsSeenonTV

So as some of you may know I am an "As Seen on TV" Junkie. Everything I see I want to try. It is my downfall really. Although, I am frugal enough not to spend my money without first researching to find out if it is a product that does what it says. Not that I haven't been burned in the past...The Grip and Flip didn't quite help me Grip or Flip lol.

Thanks to The Pitch List I was given the opportunity to review Wraptastic. I am sure you have seen the commercials. You put your plastic wrap, aluminum foil, wax paper inside...push down and Voila it cuts it without the pain in the butt of the blade on the box. I know this may sound trivial, and though I am not an over actor like you see in the commercials..I really do have issues with this. I barely buy plastic wrap...because it is NOT my friend...It never tears right for me!

Here is what I think.... I think it works. I had no problem cutting with it. Keep in mind though, that it does not fit the big rolls. I normally buy the bigger rolls and had to pick up some smaller ones for my review. I had a few problems with my wrap falling back down inside on the first few uses, but I became a pro after awhile. I do prefer it to the box...Why? My wrap fits snugly inside and doesn't fall out when I am using it. I can press with one hand to cut instead of trying to hold the box with both hands and my foil no matter how hard I try tears unevenly in a box. With Wraptastic it tore straight across with just a firm push.

Garden Guys & Dragonfly Organix

If you are like me I am always looking for products that I can feel good about using. Yes I do want to be green and Earth Friendly, but my main issue is the safety of my pets and family. I have tried many products and they don't always do what they say. I was provided with 4 products to try from Garden Guys.

First, I tried the Healthier Homestead Egg Wipes. You can read my review about them HERE.

Next, was the Garden Guys Garden-Neem Insecticide and Fungicide. It controls insects & powdery mildew. Garden-Neem is an environmentally friendly alternative to chemically based insecticides and fungicides. The list of pests is endless. I tried it on ants and it did work. I haven't been able to try it outside yet (Spring has yet to arrive) but I can't wait. One of the bugs that it kills is Japanese beetles. We have such a problem with them in our garden and pool area. This can be used on flowers and food that you are growing.

Then, I tried the Dragonfly Organix Odor Eliminator. I used it in the air and it has a pleasant and mild smell. I decided to give it the ultimate test and try it on my son's STINKY shoes. I did notice a difference immediately. I let them sit overnight and they smelled much better the next day. (I didn't want to run in the other direction) It was a big difference. The odor eliminator is a plant base formula that is safe around Children & Pets!!!! (This is what I Love)

Finally, I saved my favorite for last... the Dragonfly Organix Multi-Task All-Purpose Cleaner. OMG this stuff smells AMAZING. That is the first thing everyone notices. Again it is a biodegradable plant derived fromula that is SAFE to use around Children & Pets...I cannot say enough how happy this makes me. It cleans really well and I have used it on almost every surface in my kitchen, bathroom, and then some. I have a glass top stove and this cleans it sooooo good. Especially removing any greasy residue. When I can clean my home and not feel like I have to have every window open just to get rid of the fumes, I am hooked. I will be a lifetime user of this All-Purpose cleaner. It really does it all!
