The Chinese newspaper, World Journal, interviewed Lily regarding the recently published Fremont Accountability Progress Reporting (APR) results [link to article (Chinese fonts required)].

On Friday, September 5, Lily Mei marched as a participant in the Day of Action, where she joined Fremont Unified School District officials, school board trustees, teachers and fellow parents to support the day’s events organized by the California Teachers Association. Join Lily and friends for a neighborhood party on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m on Una Court in Fremont [map link]. We'll have hot dogs, lemonade, and other refreshments. Please bring a folding chair. Overflow parking is available on Marabu Way, Oro Drive, and Vaca Drive.

To help those in need in our community, please bring back-to-school supplies. Lily will distribute them to local Fremont schools.
