The re-order didn't stand out as much as the story that went behind it. Dash of Thyme was affected by Hurricane Irene. The store was flooded and recently re-opened. So if you are in the I-80 corridor of NJ, stop in to a great retailer. Zac from Lime Tree Cove recently was in the area and snapped these photos of Lime Tree Cove Products at Dash of Thyme.

The last several Holiday Cocktails have been fun, festive, and traditional. Now, are you looking for something different for that holiday dinner party? Here’s a new, great cocktail from Pablo Pelaez of Brittany Sales. Pablo’s not only a great guy; he’s a rum and mixology expert. His holiday cocktail is called ‘Brew Rum Pum Pum Pum’ and it is wonderful with beef and roasted meats. We tried it out on a damp cool night in Key West. Yes, it occasionally does get cooler than just ‘hot’ down there. I’ll admit its all relative, but this cocktail really went down smooth, especially with the right food.

The last two Holiday Cocktails have been fun, festive, new takes on martinis. This week, we have a Winter Classic - The Eggnog Cocktail. Because Eggnog is thick, and full of flavor, you can mix it with many different spirits including Rum, Brandy, Bourbon or Whiskey, and Vodka. The glassware can make this drink take different forms. For example, you could serve Eggnog Martinis in martini glasses or you could have an Eggnog punch in punch glasses.

Halloween's Over - Bring on the Holidays. This October we posted a series of Halloween themed cocktails. Our first cocktail, a Halloween Margarita, was selected as the featured article in Slideshare's How to and DIY for October 26, 2010. You can see the slideshow in the article on our Cocktail Recipe blog. Well, Halloween is over and now it is onto the Holidays.

In November, we'll be posting a series of Thanksgiving cocktails to the Blog and putting slideshows together for a number of these cocktails. Our first in the series uses our Cinnamon Harvest Cocktail Sugar. A nice friendly cocktail, this punch is pleasing for everyone. It works great at Thanksgiving, and holds its flavor when stored in the refrigerator. At our Thanksgiving celebration we're always looking for something special to serve instead of just beer. This recipe is festive and easy for guests to enjoy by themselves (translation you don't need to make it for them).
