「妳剛從國外唸書回來吧？」今天下午，我從7-11提著大包小包回家，同電梯的陌生女子突然轉頭發問。

「呃，是啊...妳怎麼知道？」我好像考試作弊被助教抓到，當場大驚。

「沒啦，是看妳氣質特別好啊！」助教笑吟吟走出電梯，留下大受打擊的歸國學人。

鬼才會相信「氣質特別好」這句。歸國學人身上並沒有別著紐約大學校徽或戴洋基隊球帽，也沒有洋腔洋調滿口you
know裝ABC。會被輕易識破，要不就是我被歐洲烈日親吻過的小麥膚色與臃腫身材，要不就是因為我在上流的台北東區以「素色polo衫+ 寬鬆七分休閒褲 +
球鞋」的下流組合趴趴走，竟然還能一派怡然自得。

回台灣一個禮拜，每天都活在文化衝擊中。這是怎麼回事啊，八成女生都穿著迷你裙或迷你熱褲，剩下兩成是嬌滴滴的氣質OL，滿街都是一臉「好感度百分百心機妝」、白皙纖瘦的林志玲王心淩蔡依林。連續幾天，我都忍不住嘟噥「近歲風俗尤為侈靡，走卒類士服，農夫躡絲履」。

但剛剛的電梯對話，無疑一記當頭棒喝。

是的，台灣沒變，是我變了，變成沒羞恥心沒品味的美國人了。

[搞笑]無聊的另一個新樂趣

我真的是個怕無聊的人，無聊的時候總是找一些沒有意義的事來玩，但玩著玩著還真的都會給我玩出興趣來，就像之前寫過的無聊的新樂趣，這次又讓我找到另外一個樂趣，就是搜尋。

如果有在雅虎或google搜尋的話，就會發現他們都會很貼心的在你搜尋時列出平時最多人搜尋的關鍵字，平常可能不會覺得怎樣，但有時候看著看著就可以發現到一些超白爛的搜尋關鍵字，而且白爛到會讓你覺得莫名其妙。

最白爛的應該就是「我要」跟「我想」兩個了。

如果在雅虎的搜尋輸入了「我要」的話，你就可以看到最多人搜尋的幾個用「我要」開頭的關鍵字，然後你就會看到真的有很多人做一些很白爛的搜尋...

[新奇]會倒的盆栽

就像人類一樣，植物在渴死的時候會倒下，但是植物又不像人類，沒辦法用口語向你表達它們需要水分，這就是Roply-Poly Pot的設計概念。利用水當中央的重量，當水沒有到達標準滿的時，這種盆栽會倒下去。最酷的是，每一個盆栽可依照任何不同植物的需水量來設定。雖然是一個很不錯的點子，不過現在還是在構想階段。

Just like people, plants fall over when they begin to die from thirst but unlike people, plants can’t verbally communicate when they need watering. That’s where the Roly-Poly Pot comes in. Using water a a counterweight, the pot slowly tips over when water levels are low. The cool thing is each pot can be adjusted to work with any plant’s watering needs. Neat idea but still a concept for now.

今天和朋友約到餐廳吃火鍋，這家餐廳採統一價位每人不到500元，就可以無限制任挑選食材吃到飽。

寒冷的冬天最適合吃火鍋，火鍋餐廳生意很好每桌均有時間限制，我們在餐廳門口好不容易終於等到位子，我們五人一坐定位，長桌另ㄧ頭有三位日本男生跟我們同桌，老闆在長桌擺了紅紗網將我們分了楚河漢界。

沒多久我們的鴛鴦鍋底也送上，我們五人輪番起身自取喜愛的食材，短短不到十分鐘，我們的桌上擺滿了五顏六色的各種食材、飲料、水果、冰淇淋，讓一張桌子開始雜亂不堪〈請看左圖是我們桌上的食材〉，同時火鍋裡還塞爆讓湯汁都快溢出。
