Don't give up! When you slip up a little, don't beat yourself up. Just keep going!

New Year’s Resolutions shouldn’t end when you falter off your path. If one of your resolutions is to get in shape, keep at it! It’s important to stay healthy no matter what time of year it is.

Drink lots of water. Eight glasses a day is recommended. This can be tea or juice as well!
Eat smaller portions. Most of us don’t pay attention to our portions, and take much more than a serving size of everything during breakfast lunch and dinner.
Keep a journal of your goals and progress. It’s best not to preoccupy yourself with thoughts of food and exercise when you need to keep your mind on other things like family, work, and sleep!
Use the jogging paths here at Lincoln Park to walk, jog, and run your way to fitness!

COURTESY LISTING . . . .Tanny, estimated 2 to 4 year old tan and white female Pit Bull dog and her probably less than one year old black and white pup, Blackie, are available for adoption. They can be adopted separately. They were found apparently abandoned at a Tulsa park. The pup came up to me and licked me on the hand as if to say “Please help us!”. Neither dogs attacked my dogs or have shown any aggressive tendencies. They appear to have been house pets. How they came to be in the park, I don’t know. No one responded to my efforts to advertise their being found. I have a houseful of rescued dogs already and simply cannot handle more, so they are being cared for by a couple who live in the country until they can find a good home. They are both in good general health and have been spayed/neutered, had vaccinations, de-wormed, and vet examination. I suspect they are housebroken, but I am not sure.
