Gift Wrapping

I know, you don't want to hear it again - but it's probably unavoidable. Christmas is coming - again.
I'm all into gifting. There is nothing that make me more happy than gift my loved ones - especially with unconventional, stylish stuff.
But there's another point I really enjoy about gifting. The wrapping.
I can't stand that all the christmas prestens are packed kind of equal. All this red or green papers, patterned with reindeirs or christmas trees. Really? Is there nothing else.
Since I'm really into crafting as well, I enjoy making my presents an eye catcher from inside to outside. There are so many ways to wrap you presents a little bit different, but really stylish.

1st Blogger Bazaar in Munich

Yesterday, on the 19th October, the first Blogger Bazaar in Munich took place. A team of a few lovely girls organized the whole event. The idea was, that some blogger girls of Munich sell their great stuff. Like a fleamarket deluxe.
But it wasn't all about selling stuff and earning money. It was really nive organized. The team really thought of everything - beginning on the entrance. When we walked in, we got a nice goodie bag, containing some test products of Bebe and Alverde and some vouchers for several brands. (thank god I got an eye ring reducing creme - I sometimes really need one.. ;) )
I was pretty stoked by the location. The bazaar took place in the halls of the Stylight office. Kind of loft atmosphere.
Food was also provided. I kind of have a sweet tooth, so I fell for the cute cake pops at the entrance, in forms of nail polishes, bags or ghosts.

Good event - let it happen again.

Etsy Finds Of The Week: Travel

The last few days I'm playing with the thought of doing another short city trip the next few weeks. I have not decided where to go yet, or even if. But strolling around lovely Etsy, I couldn't help myself, looking for a few travel helpers or accessoires. I always wanted a personalized passport holder made of leather. This one is so perfect. It's girly and elegant. You can have in every color.

Freezing in the plane? No problem. Take one of these stylish beanies!

The luggage tag was a must, because the quote on it, is hanging as a big poster in my office.

My fav in here is the Ipad cover. Looks like a clutch - so cute!

Got a new beauty story online. The idea was to make a not so usual beauty shooting. We used ultra violent light and special made make up to enlight my beautiful models.

I love the outcomes.

Recipe: Popsicle Brownies

Decided to prepare some super delicious, sweet popsicle brownies for tonight's party!

What you need:

Brownie Box Mix + 3 Eggs
White Chocolate Frosting (or melted white chocolate)
Food coloring (I used blue and red for baby blue and pink)
Popsicle sticks
Sprinkles

What you need to do:

Prepare the brownies according to the recipe on the box
Bake them and let them cool
Cut off the top of the "cake" and cut them in pieces
Melt the chocolate and add 5-10 drops of the food coloring. Stir it.
Put the colored chocolate on all of your brownies. I used a brush for it. It worked pretty well.
Throw the sprinkles on the still smooth chocolate
Have fun!

MAKING OF: CHIXNGRAVY SHOOTING

Last week it was time to shoot the new (summer) collection of the Austrian fashion label CHIXNGRAVY (www.chixngravy.com). Due to the weather conditions in Austria (snow...), it was absolutely unpossible to shoot a summer lookbook anywhere near here. So we decided to make a little trip to Italy to shoot it there. I was super excited and so looking forward to warm sunny days, that my suitcase just contained spring clothes... Whatever, in Italy there were also 10° and rain! Jackpot! ;-)
Nontheless, we had to do our shooting and in the end the pictures got really cool and really summer-like. You can see them soon on the website of the label and in the catalogues.
Here are some making of shots. We had a really great (girly) time :-)

Amsterdam City Trip

Time for a little break. As a gift my boyfriend and me had been to Amsterdam for a little city culture shopping trip for 3 days. I love(d) the city. I never imagined how artsy and fashionable this city is.
I totally fell in love with all the little sandwich/breakfast lounges and their delicious sweets. There were so many vintage like shops and so many super design stores.
And also the architecture of the city is amazing. We did a little boat trip to get to see all the canals and buildings and bridges - s t u n n i n g!
We definitely will visit Amsterdam again! Here are some impressions of our trip:
