Samantha Chang is a legend in intimates. Her collection is known for uniquely pretty, well-fitting designs that are easy to mix and match. In the Micro Mesh range, there are four patterns (Deco Floral, Wild Paisley, Baby Bloom, and Tropical Holiday), with one arriving on the scene every month starting later this month. In addition to a traditional babydoll and chemise, there is a more supportive, lined, built up lace chemise offering wider, adjustable straps for additional coverage. Two piece options include here a bralette, lace cup cami, or built up lace cup cami that can be paired with either a lace back brief, lace back thong, or lace waist pant.

The soft jersey collection features solids including Black, Purple Orchid, Mandarin, and Ivory and is also mix and matchable. In addition to the cami, chemise, babydoll, pant, thong, and brief, there is also a fabulous, easy to wear short robe.

For a more opulent look, the Silk Satin with Leavers Lace range is to die for! Elegant Silk Satin is paired with delicate Leavers lace (from Calais, France) in a babydoll, chemise, cami, minishort, and thong. Delightful!

Intenzioni’s New “Provocation” Collection

The new Intenzioni “Provocation” collection really caught my eye today. The designs are just so strikingly graphic and freshI’m so glad they’ve started going in a new direction!

The only big downside I see to the Provocation collection is that the sizing is rather limited – bras are only available in 34B and 36B. If you are around that size range, it may not matter to you if your bra isn’t the correct size (let’s face it, these sure aren’t meant for serious support!), but if you’re too far out of the size range, these small wisps of tulle and applique will just look ridiculous!

In our forums, paige asked to see some pretty new robe styles. Robes are often the perfect topper to your favorite lingerie. They can conceal your seductive pieces until just the right moment. They can give just a glimpse of what’s beneath. They can allow you to cover up quickly if you hear a knock at the door. And with the weather cooling down (at least in the US), they will help keep you warm and gorgeous in the fall. Ah, Freya. One of my most favorite brands – and one that rarely disappoints. This is one of those rare collections where I can’t help but show you something from every range because there is just no way I could pick a handful of favorites. Even the styles that have simply been revamped or recolored for the new season just seem better this time around. Let’s take a look: I have to admit that I haven’t bought many new bras for months (other than replacing some t-shirt bras that had bit the dust), despite the fact that bras are my favorite type of lingerie. For a long time, not much really excited me enough to pull out my credit card – but looking at the new Freya styles, I’m now faced with an entirely different dilemma – how do I keep from buying them all? I have already purchased Nadine, and I’m this close to buying Frida. All the while, I’m still drooling over Jolie, Frankie, Jenny, Latisha, and Monet. What is your favorite?

Farr West – “Luxury Lingerie for Life”

We’ve mentioned Farr West a couple times here on TLP (Your Favorite Lingerie on eBay / In Defense of the Slip). But we’ve never given Farr West the spotlight around here, which is a real shame because the company is responsible for almost all of the most beloved slips in my lingerie chest.
Farr West was founded by Jack and Iris Farr in 1968. Over 40 years later, the company is still family owned and managed. Farr West garments are made in the USA under the labels Farr West, Lindsey Roscoe, and Lindsey Luxe.
The reason I am such a big fan is because the slips seem to be “just right” in almost every area. The materials used are comfortable, durable, and sexy. The cuts skim your figure juuust right. The styles are gorgeous enough, but classic enough, to be attractive for years. And the prices, while they aren’t cheap, are very reasonable considering the quality you get for your money. My only complaint is that the color schemes are usually neutrals, like ivory, black, white, or light pink. I wish some exciting colors were mixed in more often!
While partial to their slips, that isn’t all the company makes. They have camisoles, pettipants, rompers, half-slips, full slips, robes, and sleepwear in silk, microfiber, lace, georgette, cotton, and anti-cling charmeuse (developed exclusively for Farr West).

(Don’t you just love that half slip with the chiffon flounce? I may have to place an order…)
