2014 already! I feel a little late in the game because I have had some ungodly flu for like a month now. I celebrated my birthday a few weeks ago and was feeling better but the birthday shots (and I can't even really remember how many because they were flying at me like mosquitoes) kind of gave me a bit of a relapse. All though I am feeling better now, I can't seem to get rid of the head congestion. It is driving me crazy!

So wishing you a very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year! I hope it is your best one yet! Look forward to some amazing times ahead!

In A Flash

So it has been hella long since I have written and I can not believe how much time has passed and it doesn't even seem like it. I am sure this may be a long post so let's get started! My life has went from one extreme to another since I have moved to Colorado and I love it, but I think I have to slow things down just a bit.

Getting out of Florida has been huge for me, I have found the old me I was looking for and I really enjoy life again, I guess being so miserable and living somewhere that you absolutely hate really sucks the life out of you. Don't get me wrong, I still have stress, everyone always has some type of stress but I actually feel like I am living again.

I have done so many things since I have been in CO and I am so grateful. My number one favorite thing to do is going to concerts and all though I have been to many in FL, Co has had some great shows and amazing line ups. Here are just a few of the shows I have been to this year.

and Pink (We actually drove from CO to Minneapolis to see this show because we had tickets before we moved but moved before we could go and she wasn't coming to CO, but while we were there, she announced a CO show LOL)O

So so far music wise, I have been having a blast. I love to go to shows and meet the bands and take pictures. I typically get some cool band item too! So the concert scene has kept me sane LOL. I await two more coming up (I just got tickets and VIP meet and greets from a very special friend as an early birthday gift SUPER STOKED) but not to January (In This Moment for the 5th time) and Pink, so I look forward to the new year and many more shows!

I have taken a lot of trips to the mountains to explore, to drive around Colorado is just amazing! The views are incredible and I never get tired of them. Was even lucky enough to spend the weekend in Vail on a mountain and it was just amazing! I am looking forward to seeing so much more and I really want to go white water rafting! Can not wait!

I have been spending most of my time this year to let loose and find myself as well as get rid of the past 15 years of shit that FL gave me. I actually opened my own business, it isn't the bar that I wanted to open but none the less it is mine. I opened an online store. As the store is still very new I have a lot of products on it but still adding, I want a kind of one stop shop for things and I have put a lot of time and energy in creating the store. I am still adding products I have about 3000 more to add and still counting, so I am hoping that it really takes off for me, check it out here and spread the word! www.GiftsBeyond.com

My goal is to have 4 stores total and once I get this one really up and running I am going to start more.

Well in a shell, this past year has been an adventure, trying to find myself and enjoying life has been really good for me. I have enjoyed exploring and for the most part got to meet some really cool people, some I look forward to getting to know more, I now have to pull back the reigns and slow things down and get a routine going. I can say one thing though, I have never been happier!

Decisions, Decisions, Maybe I am OCD Shhhh - Autos

For those who know me or have followed my blog I am totally OCD when it comes to a few things. One being Mobile Phones and the other being Automobiles.

I will confess that I have a passion for these things and always want the latest and greatest with the newest technology. I have the same issues with sneakers and electronics. I will say that I have been really good the past few years and have not been nearly as bad as I was in the past.

Since my move to Colorado, I have been especially good but my itch has started! Last year I finally broke down and purchased a car while in FL. I purchased an Audi A4 convertible and while I really do love Audi, living in FL is no place for a convertible if you are always hot like me. I will say I rarely put the top down and to be honest, there wasn't much room in this car for anyone else. With having sick parents who have a hard time getting in and out of a car to go to appointments and stuff, it just wasn't the right fit. So being exhausted in car searching, I ended up getting a new Mazda 3. I never thought I would just be over car shopping and settle on something but I did and at first I liked it but that wore off quick.
Don't get me wrong, the car is great, fully loaded with all the neat features I like but this car ends up being pretty small as well for what I need and I don't care for the quality.

For years I dreamed of moving back to CO and never thought it would happen so I held off getting a Crossover or SUV like I wanted to. My ideal was trips to the mountains, taking bikes and snowmobiles through out the state and enjoying many outdoor activities. So now that I am here, I am ready to get my truck on!

I have been looking now for months (online only so far) to try and get the right fit for what I want and for what I enjoy. Here is where I want to bang my head because I cant decide OR I am just to anal when it comes to certain things.

My dream car of course would be the Range Rover Sport or Evoque OR the porche cayenne, but lets be realistic, I haven't hit any lotto yet and I am not trying to have a car payment that high. I really want something that is rough and rugged, good in the snow, something with room, and of course all the little gadgets I have come to love. So I am sending this out there to get some opinions on what experiences you have had with SUV and cross over brands. I need some advise and input.

At the moment, I really like the GMC Terrain Denali, I really like a boxy shape to a SUV or crossover. One thing though and here is where my OCD kicks in, I hate very plain dashboards and control panels. I know that doesn't make a car but I hate when it is really empty. I like buttons! Buttons, buttons, and more buttons. I want to feel like I am in an airplane hahahah, and most of the ones I see are so plain now.

I also like the Jeep grand Cherokee but I have a few people who sell them telling me to stay away from them because there are so many issues, but I love both the interior and exterior about this suv.

I also really like the looks of the Ford Explorer.

So I want an unbiased opinion. I want something reliable and rugged and not going to give me a 1500 car payment. So help me out, what is a good suv/crossover? What are your thoughts on the GMC terrain Denali? How about the Jeep or Explorer? Have you had any experiences with these vehicles?

Zoooooom - So much to do, so little time

Well it has definitely been some time since I have posted here. Not because I haven't wanted to, but since I made the big move out of FL, I am actually doing things and have been extremely busy. I went from one extreme to the next, from doing nothing to doing a bunch of things at once. I couldn't be happier since I moved. Since we got settled I have gone on countless road trips through the mountains, hung out with old friends while making new, took a road trip to MN to go to a Pink concert, started playing guitar, got a new mountain bike (which I can not wait to go through these mountains on), singed up for a German class, and the list goes on. Now things are calming down a bit so now I have to organize all these things so I can enjoy them and enjoy other things. I am looking forward most to going white water rafting once it gets a little warmer. Been really watching what I eat and have lost 16 lbs so far, I even am going through the process of finally quitting smoking! Really been enjoying the snow and how funny it is that it is gone a few days later. I am really adjusting to things and learning to love life again.

I miss posting here so this is one more thing I have to add into my busy schedule. I will reflect on the past few months and post some really great pics of stuff that I have taken. I hope all is well in your world and hope to catch up soon.

Almost finished, I think I can, I think I can

Well it has been a few days since I have arrived in Colorado and I couldn't be happier. I am exhausted as hell due to the packing before the move, the drive and now the unpacking but I am about 75% done, I cant wait until I am finished. I got to see two dear friends already, they came and brought food (Thank god) I was starving and we got to catch up a bit. I was looking forward to hanging out a bit with them this weekend but I am no where near done. (Sorry J and Mike) I am hoping I will have everything unpacked by Tuesday. I spent today exploring the area as I needed to go shopping for things for the house. Thank god for the navi in my car because I wouldn't of found my way around or home. The only thing I have to get now is living room furniture and I havent found any that I like yet. So as the exhaustion is set in, through every pain and soar body part I have I wouldn't trade it for anything as I am now finally where I want to be. Looking forward to more exploration soon!

Well after a crazy amount of events I just crossed the Colorado state line. With a late start, driving through storms and tornados, power outages and tornado sirens at the hotel and extreme winds I am on the three hour stretch till we are home. Cant wait to see all my friends, meet the new ones I have never met yet and enjoy all the new things and my new life. I cant tell you how happy I am. Now where's the bar? Hahah. For now I finish our drive.

Well a new year is starting out and I am happy to say I am glad to see the old one go. 2012 was a CRAZY year for me but I guess in the end, the sun comes out after the storm. While I was treading water through out the year, I buried myself in music and concerts, that really got me through some stressful times. While I was able to shrug off the black cloud that was following me, everything fell into place and my most sought out dream is now a reality. I am bringing in the new year with excitement as in a few weeks I will be moving out of Florida and going to Colorado! I am filled with excitement and happiness and can not wait to get going. There are a few people I will miss and I will miss the concert access as I go through out the state, but other then that, GOOD RIDENS FLORIDA! I cant wait for my new beginning and all the new adventures I will be having! So as the door closes and a new one opens, I can't wait to seize every opportunity

that comes my way! Stay tuned and Happy New Year!

The Concert Was Amazing - A Night With Jane's Addiction

Well the show has come and gone and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. I usually arrive really early to brave a line in the heat so I can get up front, however not getting there to early the line was very small, thank god this was a weekday concert. We sat in House of Blues and enjoyed some appetizers (may I add I never had Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread) which were the most amazing appetizers I ever had.

The doors opened at 6:15 and we ran to the stage scoring front row. We couldn't stand center stage because we had to meet the radio station to the right of the stage in order to go backstage to see the private jam session.

We stood patiently and watched the clock and finally it was time. We met our ring leader and followed him up the stairs. It was I and two of my friends but only one could go backstage with me because I only had one extra pass. My other friend stood at the barricade in the front row securing our spots for when we return. The opening act was on and I was going crazy waiting to go through the door. Jane's was set to go on at 8:30 and watching the clock click past 8 I was feeling uneasy as if this wasn't going to happen or something. As things were running behind we finally moved in and I walked through the doors into a room which almost looked liked a living room. There were couches and tables and lamps, only to walk in and have Perry Farrell to my left and Dave Navarro and the band to my right, maybe a foot away. I was pretty speechless, but kept filing in to turn around and watch them play a few songs before they went on stage.

We got settled and they began, putting their heart and soul into it they did two songs and with that the manager had to end the jam session. There as another event going on at 10:30 and as things were behind, they had five minutes to get on stage. They asked us to start filing out and make our way to watch the show. I turned to my friend to see where they were and as I turned around I almost face planted into Dave Navarros chest as he walked by me, wow I would of felt like an idiot!

So we rushed out the door because we had to go to the other side of the upper level and head downstairs to reclaim our spot in the front row, before we could even get downstairs the lights had gone out and the show was about to begin. Fighting our way through we made it a few seconds into the first song.

The crowd went crazy and you could feel the energy coming from the stage. Jane's is a band in which I have seen before and their concerts are amazing, they really make the experience personalized, you really connect with them with each song. They almost make you feel like you are the only one there until they get the whole audience involved and it is amazing how they command the room. Song after song the energy was at top speed. This was one of the best shows I have ever been to and even better then the last time I saw Jane's.

So all though I was not able to really chat with the band or get a picture with them due to time constraints, I was able to get a lot of pics and some video, my camera is on it's last legs (as I am ordering a new one today) but I got the pics none the less. If you get a chance to see a Jane's show, do it, you will really have an amazing night!

So that was my night! Truly Amazing!

Going Backstage - Kind Of Surreal

Well the last few weeks have been nothing but work, a battle of allergies and sinusitis, and trying to feel better, so nothing exciting except that I knew on the 15th I was going to the Jane's Addiction concert. I was pretty excited because I had general admission tickets and I usually (Knock on wood) get there early and wait all day and get 1st or second row.

Just the other day I have noticed one of the local radio stations has posted a contest on their site and Facebook and advised that you could win backstage passes to the show before the concert to watch a private jam session if you posted a picture of yourself showing you were a huge fan of the group, so being competitive and all I had to jump to the challenge.

My mind raced because I knew I had only two days to complete this, so with many empty thoughts I came up with a tailgate theme. I also wanted to incorporate the album cover from Nothings Shocking (see below) I got so extreme for a minute and was even going to use mannequins to get this done, however I composed myself and said I cant spend that kind of money. Deciding against paper mashay due to time limits I went and got some masks.

Running out of time and a thunder storm about to hit I ended up coming up with this.

Now I was pretty pissed off because I only had a short amount of time for the fire to stay ablaze (lots of gasoline on tin foil only secured by super packing tape haha) and I wasn't all that happy with how it looked before the shot but again, it was what it was. I spent the time doing it and all though it wasn't what I envisioned, I submitted my pic!

I WON!!!! HAHAHAHA, I couldn't believe that I won but I was super excited. So tonight I get to go backstage and meet Perry Farrel, Dave Navarro and Jane's Addiction and get to see a private jam session. I hope I am able to get some really good pics too.

It's Going To Be A Tough Mudder !

While I am still on my journey of getting fit and losing weight, I still have a long way to go before I am where I want to be. One of the things I am looking forward to is an obstacle course called Tough Mudder !

I have heard about this even a couple of time and always wanted to check it out and read into it but I always forgot. Well fortunately, a group of us got to talking about and we are getting a team together for the December event. While reading about each obstacle I grew more excited as I am very competitive. While some I will have to suck up my fear and move on and do it, the worst part of the event in my mind is the electro shock section. This is what I fear the most. Not the 12 miles, not the mud, the walls, the heights (which I am not fond of) it is the whole shock thing. I have spoke to a few co workers who have done this and stated the shock does not hurt, but it does drop you to your knees! REALLY!?!?!?!?!

I don't know about you, but anything that drops you to your knees must have some pain value going on with it. However, I am going to do it. So as the next week passes and I really move my ass into gear and try to lose more weight and gain more muscle, I am using this as a point of interest almost as it is something I have to train for, I am hoping this is a very good motivating tool as I don't want to be doing this thing with my vodka in one hand and a ciggy hanging out of my mouth.

So have you ever done this? Would you do it?

I WON, I WON ! Front Row, Front Row !

So I love concerts and this year especially I want to go to as many as I can. One show I always wanted to see was the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Well being absent for a while and behind on my alerts and emails, they were coming to town and were sold out by the time I found this out. They were suppose to appear in January but due to medical issues, it was rescheduled till the end of May. One of the local radio stations I listen to made a post of Facebook that they were having a contest that you could win front row tickets, a RHCP Surfboard, Surf Gear, and a trip to CA to surf with the band. I love contests, so I enter. As time goes by I hear nothing, I see no winning posts, my email has no Congrats email so I figured damn, I didn't win.

About three weeks before the show, found a missed call and a voice-mail on the phone and it was the radio station stating you entered a contest for the RHCP so give me a call back because I've got good news!

Well I called back and SHAZAMMMMMMM I won! I was freaking out! So I went to the show and it was really amazing. I got some really good pictures and if you get a chance to see them live I recommend going, they put on a great show! I sat right in front of Flea (As you know I have to get close anyway cause I am short LOL so this was perfect. Check out the pics below!

So there are a few, I have a bunch but I think way to many to post hahaha. I have two more concerts coming in the next few weeks. Bush, Seether, My darkets days and nickelback (always wanted to see Bush live) and then Jane's Addiction (which is general admission so I know I will have front row) Stay tuned for some great pics!

Where do the days go?

So yes, another month and half has just flown by and it's just like a blur. Things have been pretty fast paced and a lot going on so in order to catch up, a summary is in order.

I finally have motivation in motion and I have been trying to tackle things and get things done. I am in the process of opening a bar. I thought I have found one which is right down the street from my home and I was ready to purchase it but there are a few hiccups in doing so. As this may still be on the table, I have branched out and have been looking for new locations to consider as well as new commercial property to consider building the inside from scratch. There is a lot to consider so I am taking my time and doing this right. I do not want to rush into anything and only fail because I was in a hurry. So crossing my fingers that this all works out and I will be open by mid summer.

As I pretty much a car nut, I was waiting to purchase a car when the time was right (meaning when I was done renting this house and purchased one with a garage) Yes, OCD kicks right in when it comes to my car. I just love cars! At any rate, the time was now, I needed something now so I broke down and purchased a vehicle. My first convertible! I figured as of now I live in Florida so why not take advantage of it. I know one day my dream will come true of living back in Colorado, so I might as well use this weather wisely before its time to buy a snow beast! My baby is just below!

I have been doing well with my diet per say. I have been pretty absent from the gym for the last 6 weeks with so much going on, but things have calmed down and I am ready to get back into the swing of things. I am happy because I lost 21 lbs and about 6 inches off my waist. While my hiatus from the gym was scary I am happy to report I did not gain anything back, so VERY happy about that.

One of my best friends whom I left in PA when I moved south finally broke down and moved to Florida. He has moved in with us and has been here about a month. We are trying to get him situated and helping him start a new life. It's pretty exciting that we see each other more then once a year so been staying busy there as well.

My last bit of news I will post on the next post due to there being some really good pictures involved.

So in a nut shell, my head is finally slowing down from spinning, but busy has been good!

As I Sip This Drink & Try To Think !

Have a seat while I take our drinks to the table.

Ok, reality check, sometimes life does not go as planned and I really feel that I finally have come to terms with that and need to change some things around. I am speaking about my career and life support. I busted my ass for many years at a company and lost my job due to the economy crashing and budget cuts (3 yrs ago) with that I lost many of things and I basically had issues with finding a job where we lived in the sticks and my went in to a downward spiral. I regrouped, moved to where there was civilization (haha) and began working. Now I started pretty much at ground zero with a position that was kind of temporary until I found something good. I also opened my own business doing property management.

While trying to build my business in my area, I saw that more and more big name realty companies have really jumped on this and have been fighting my way to stay alive. All though I have stayed in the fight, I have not progressed as much as I wanted to and with the economy still funky, things are just not as I planned. My plan was to become a realtor and then a broker, but I have to say I have lost interest in doing this. While I still work my other job as an HR professional as well as my own business I feel I have to head in a different direction.

I have a few ideas of what I want to do but I am now just trying to figure out how to get the ball rolling. Money of course always plays a big part in opening a business. So I am now researching business loans, grants, etc.

While I will keep my property mgmt business, I will be opening a new one. While I am excited and nervous at the same time, I feel like I have a better shot and making a living at my own resources rather then putting time, blood, & tears into a place that in a blink of an eye can get rid of you as if you never existed. I am very resourceful and I have the drive. So I start a new quest today and I hope to report something good because I sure as hell didn't win the 325 million dollar powerball. (#%@!$#^$&%)&!^*^!$%!%)

There is a a local festival that I have never been to called Earthday Birthday and a friend told me I would love it so I am going to try and go to that this year as well. My all time I want to go to is Lollapalooza, I have to get to that at least once! I also really want to see Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, & Pat Benetar. Other then that I just love concerts.

I will always go to every MCR concert that comes to what ever state I am living in, so if they are in Tampa, Orlando, Miami I will hit each one, there show is amazing and they are my favorite band. Pink as well, I saw her very first concert and one time after and she was amazing.

I love concerts in general and I will make sure that I am always up front. I will go and sit outside all day for a general admission show to make sure I get in front of the stage, I think that is the fun of it.

Three Weeks Weigh In and I lost ...........

So it has been three weeks since I started my diet and I weigh in on Sunday's. I have been pretty good in following my points that I have to follow. I did have a few vodkas the other night while going out and meeting up with an old friend and I have been working some long hours so I havent hit the gym as much as I wanted to the last two weeks but when I weighed in and totaled up my loss up, I am down 15.2 pounds!!!

I have to say I am pretty stoked and seeing the scale is keeping me motivated. I am not sure yet as to how much I want to lose in total. I have a number of 70 total in my head so I keep setting low goals in order to keep my motivation up. My next goal is 10 percent which will be another 9 lbs. This week I really plan to hit the gym hard in my routine. I really want this, I want to re invent myself as well as this year I promised to do everything different. I want change!!!!

So as I start this week I am going into it with a seek and destroy attitude and just focus and more focus!

When you are doing something or trying to accomplish something, what motivates you? What is it that you do that if you are not feeling motivated you think of or do that just puts you on track?? I would like some more ideas!

So You Want To Know More About Me, Do Ya #4

Next question off the list is:

Do You Want Kids?

The answer to that is: Yes, actually I never thought I would want children. I mean I would love to have a son, that is all, just one child and a son. When I was a bit younger, I always said, no I do not want children, Nothing makes me shove hot razor blades in my eyes more then being somewhere that there is a misbehaved child who is screaming and being bad, but then I thought about it. It's all about the upbringing.

My parents are both alive and in their late 70's. All though my parents gave me a great life, I never got to spend much time at all with my father. My Dad is very old school and was always working so I never saw much of him. I have a brother as well but he never bothered with me, we are 10 years a part and while I was younger, he had his friends then his girlfriend so he was never really a brother. So I would love to be a father, I would love to do the things with my son that I was not able to do with my father or family.

So one day I am hoping I am able to adopt or have a surrogate, but who knows, now a days, you have to have a shit load of money to do any of this stuff. But yes, I would love to be a DAD!

Moving right along, Here is the third question on the list.

If you ruled your own country, who would you get to write your national anthem?

The answer to that would be My Chemical Romance & Pink, now before you say WTF because I know these artists are from two different ends of the spectrum, let me proceed.

As I love all kinds of music, these two stand out in head as well as being my favorites. MCR & Pink are in my opinion artists who never compromise their artistic integrity as well as always go balls to the wall with their music. I have seen them both in concert twice and the energy, the show, was intense. They inspire me in many different ways and I pretty much listen to them all the time.

So there you have it! If you ever get a chance to see either of the two in concert, I would say go for it, they are amazing!

Week One Weigh In & The Scale Says ???

So it has been one week since I started weight watchers and today was my first weigh in. I was nervous to weigh in, I thought I lost a few pounds, but I wasn't really sure. So I got up this morning, made my coffee and awaited for my Starbucks to kick in.

Once I woke up, I hopped on the scale and ended up losing NINE pounds! Wow, am I happy! I have to say this has motivated me even more to do this. I am now planning my work out goals and want to work harder and longer at doing this. I know I wont be losing nine pounds each week, but this is a great start and I am ready for week two!

I hope you are having a great weekend, if you know of any good exercises you want to recommend or something you did or do to lose weight, let me know, I want to learn some new stuff!

So Ya Have Questions About Me, Do Ya? #2

So here is the next question on the list:

Could you ever go out with someone just cause they're rich?

The Answer to that would be NO! Don't get me wrong, I really do have expensive taste when it comes to certain things. I really love cars so if I was rich I would have my Range Rover Evoque, Aston Martin, BMW 7 series just to name a few cars (There would be MANY), I would have a built home with a gourmet kitchen, a gym, a club/entertaining area, etc., I would open a huge club, restaurants, stores, etc, The list can go on, I really have a long list in case I win the lotto hahaha)

As much as I love all these things and would want them, I am not that guy, I look at people for who they are and not what they can do for me, not how much money they have, not what they drive, you may be the hottest person on the planet with not a flaw on your body, you may have $9,999,999,999.00 dollars, but if you do not get me, if we are not compatible, if you have a cocky attitude or are shallow, we just will not work and as much as I love money, I refuse to live a lie or use someone for their money.

I know a few of you may say BULLSHIT! I promise you and those of you who know me personally can back me up, this is how I feel !

Now, What about you? There is no judging here, but I am curious what your answer would be and why?

Healthy Transformations, Pubes, & Locker Room Etiquette

Ok, yes, you read the title correctly, so after the the serious comes the funny and gross!

As I change my life around one of the things I wanted to do most was get back into shape again, lose weight, and join the gym. Over the last 10 years I have fell into the corporate world as well as dealing with a bout of depression, I stopped all my exercising, playing ball, & giving a shit.

I really enjoying working out and playing some sports but when all that falls off, the pounds pack on. Not to say I ever had a six pack or looked like a body builder because that was never the case, I have however put on many unwanted pounds and I am just trying to get back to where I was years ago.

Typically I am a healthy eater. I pretty much stay away from fast food, fried food and over the last 4 years I really try to eat everything healthy as well as organic. Enjoying partying to much and eating late night, and even doing fast food which I tried to avoid after a night out, it has caught up with me. So I decided to get some help in following my food intake and joined Weight Watchers. I have several friends who are on it and are dropping weight like crazy as well as when I was young I went on it and lost 60 some pounds. It has been only a week since I started it and I am not suppose to weigh myself until this Sunday but I cheated the other day and I have lost 7 lbs so far. Very stoked about that, so I am anxious to see what I weigh on Sunday.

Ready to go back to the workout world I joined LA Fitness right down the street. It only takes me like 3 minutes to get there and since I go before work it is great to just leave and go around the corner and its there. I get there usually around 5:45 am and it's really not crowded so I enjoy not having to fight for a machine. The gym part seems to be going great and I am hoping to continue on and accomplish the goals I have set out for.

So with the plan in full motion, on to the funny and gross!!!!!

To me, locker rooms are just that, you go in, you change, you work out, you shower, you may even talk to your buddy's, but I have seen a few things over the past few weeks and one I thought was hysterical and the other I thought was pretty gross!

I have met a few cool guys since I started there and we chat when we see each other and the other day after working out, the one guy goes have you met dry Dave yet? Now being so early in the morning, I thought I just haven't had enough coffee to process what he was saying, so I didn't really question what he said at first, but I said no and they all started laughing. So a few minutes went by and here comes this guy, I wouldn't say he was a body builder but he was really solid muscle and ripped all over. Almost looked like a WWA or MMA athlete. So he comes over by us after his shower and gets his stuff out of the locker and the one guy says to me, this is Dave, so I said hi and proceeded to finish getting ready to get out of there and all of a sudden I hear the guys I met cracking up, so I turned to them and they said laughing, watch Dave. So I turn around and there is Dave standing at the counter, he had a towel around him and he was blow drying his hair. I didn't want to be rude but I said to them, ok, what is so funny about that? They bust out laughing again, I was like WTF, so I turned around and here is this guy who has dropped his towel and he is blow drying his pubes with the hair dryer, HUH???? At first I thought I was seeing things, then once it sunk in, I started laughing too because I couldn't believe what I was seeing! It was almost like he was about to break out a brush or comb and style them. The guys were cracking up so of course I started to as well, and I would imagine he knows people laugh while he is doing it, but I guess that is his routine. I am sure one day he will beat some ass if he catches the wrong person laughing, because he looks like he could break someones jaw. I have to say though I thought it was funny because I never saw or heard of someone doing that. I mean, it could be common, I don't know, I don't use a blow-dryer, but I think if I did, I wouldn't blow-dry my pubes at the gym.

Now I am not a germaphobe and I know that gym's are a haven for fungus and other bacteria so I make sure to be more aware when I am there. I would never go into the shower barefoot, I always sanitize my hands after each machine, etc. So for the locker room, I would never think to really sit on those benches, I usually just put my bag on them and use it for my stuff as I get ready to work out. Now maybe it is just me (so guys, correct me if I am wrong) but I have noticed at the end of my workout when the gym is busier, I have noticed while I start to get ready to leave the gym, people are coming into the locker room to change or shower and they get undressed and sit on the benches. Now for what ever reason you sit, you sit, but wouldn't you want to sit on a towel? I mean I sweat like a pig when I work out, so the last thing I want to do is come and sit my sweaty, naked ass on these benches after sweaty clothes have been on there, or feet, and now someone else s sweaty ass. I just thought that was pretty nasty, so I am just wondering if it is me? Am I a germaphobe or is that just bad locker room etiquette? How would you feel?

So You Have Questions About Me Do Ya?

A couple of my readers have sent me question sheets, almost like 101 questions about you type of thing, and have been asking me to do the Q&A on my site. I have never done this before but I figured why not, this year for me is about trying new things. I have seen something similar on a few friends blogs which they called a blog challenge and I really enjoyed reading them, so since your asking, I will be happy to oblige (By the way, you can check out my friends blogs StevieB and Dead Robot their prior posts will have their blog challenge and their pages are great to read if you like personal sites.)

So the first question on the list:
Is there something in your life that you insanely miss?

Well the answer to that would be living in Denver Colorado!
We lived in CO for just about a year and at the time, we had moved from FL after living there for 7 years to CO in the Winter and we rented a big house and had two room mates move in with us. The house was great and we got jobs right away and then everything went down hill. We had some room mate problems and it was hard being away from family and friends, and then with our room mate situation not working out, it just became the two of us and it was financially hard to cover the expenses when we based our house decision on the finances of four people. So we had to move back to Florida to re-group. All though my other half states there are several reasons why we cant move back there just yet, the main one is his job. (not to mention all though he likes the seasons, he also likes the coast) So only time will tell!!!

While we were there I met a lot of great people and I really just loved the mountains and the scenery. I love watching winter sports and x-games but never got to see them live the short time I was there, but I miss everything about it and one day I hope to return to live there again, there is so much I want to see and do there, not to mention the fact that I really miss the great friends that I met while living there.

So that would be the thing I miss most in my life, I think about Colorado almost every day so I know one day, I will return and be happy!

Going On My First Cruise & I Can't Wait !

It's going to snow here!!!!!! I am booked to go on a cruise!!!! I can not wait. I have never been on a cruise, hell, I have not been on a vacation in about 20 years so I am really looking forward to experiencing the cruise and getting away!

It's for four nights and five days going to Cozumel. The deal wasn't bad at all, however the first and last vacation I went on was the Bahamas and all the food and ALCOHOL was included. I am thinking they lost out and they may have changed it because I drank to much! HAHAHA.

Have you ever been on a cruise? Have you ever been to Cozumel? If so, tell me about it! What should I check out, what should I avoid? Let me know how it was.

I Figured It Out !!

WOW, it's so hard to believe that it is 2012 already! This past year all though it seemed like an eternity kind flew by if that makes sense.

I am looking forward to this new year, I feel there are a lot of good things in store and I am a total changed man at this point. I will not dwell on all the negative things that have happened in my past but only focus on the positive and the future.
