News at GameSpot: "The hot holiday item, if one believes the media hype, is the Xbox 360. Short supply and high demand have left many holiday shoppers looking for the console empty-handed. While the thought of parents looking into the teary eyes of children left without an Xbox 360 this Christmas is saddening, imagine the same scenario with said parents paying upwards of $800 for a worthless photo of the gaming system. "

This is really funny if you ask me. Any electronic people freak out about and wait in line for and beat each other up for is just nonsense. IT'S JUST AN XBOX!!!!!!!!! My prediction is that there will be plenty of systems to go around about a month, maybe less after Christmas...is it that hard to wait...seriously...some people are just stupid...bottom line.

Put down the Xbox and nobody gets hurt!

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) today brought attention to a recent raid of a game store selling pirate game products in L.A. Law enforcement officials charged two store owners and another man associated with the ACME Game Store on Melrose Avenue for 'conspiring to commit criminal copyright infringement and to traffic in a technology used to circumvent a copyright protection system.' The store apparently sold modified Xbox consoles, which had games illegally pre-loaded onto the system's hard drive.

'We thank these government agencies for their commitment to combating intellectual property theft, and we will do whatever we can to support a successful prosecution of those charged in this pirate ring,' said Douglas Lowenstein, president of ESA. 'Our industry will continue to support all government efforts to fight game piracy in its many different forms.'"

What we heard: Bungie, the developer of the megasuccessful Halo franchise, is aptly named. The company is adept at dangling tiny morsels frightfully close to gamers' noses, only to snap them back out of reach before any concrete information can be grabbed.

The Redmond, Washington-based studio is at it again in its Bungie Weekly Update, a post on its Web site put up every Friday. According to the most recent news, the company's various camps met up for a "Bungie Fair," where they demonstrated what they've been recently working on in the company's next project. The presentations vary in media type, but "some gameplay tests, demos and experiments, are surprisingly polished and playable."

Gamespot covers the new Prince of Persia game from start to finish in it's new game guide. I just got this game and have been playing it for 3 days now, and I have certainly enjoyed the experience. The great feel of the fighting styles of both sides of the prince, and the puzzle solving make for a great game experience all together. The elusive Xbox 360 is showing up here and there all across the US. Alot of people are reporting to Kotaku.com that they have found Xbox 360's at different Costco locations. My best advice is to keep checking your local stores, keep in mind that all different stores in all different locations get all different numbers of shipments..

Alabama Civil Suit Against GTA

According to GamePolitics.com, the wrongful death suit against several large gaming companies relating to Grand Theft Auto will go forward. This is despite the pleadings of the defense to dismiss the case based on lack of merit. Attorney Jack Thompson, who was unceremoniously removed from the case last month by Judge James Moore, will apparently still be assisting the plaintiffs and will likely be called as a witness in the case.

"The families of two Fayette police officers and a police dispatcher murdered in 2003 by GTA player Devin Moore are seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from the video game industry defendants."
