liquidoranges is exhibiting by invitation at UrbanGlass in New York for their 40th Anniversary Gala. The work, 042312 - Man In The Crowd, will be on exhibit for the Gala, and will be auctioned off to help raise money for the school, museum and gallery. The work has never been "produced" from the electronic file, so realizing it in glass is very rewarding.

Schroeder Artwork receives High Honor

I'm very pleased to share an honor I received this past Sunday at the opening reception for the 2016 PAC National Exhibition "Color", juried by Dominic Molon, Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum. Out of 750 works submitted from around the USA, 65 were selected for the exhibition. Five Honorable Mentions, four Named Awards, and four Top Awards, my work originally created for an art glass project entitled "082415 - Metabolic Transformations" received 3rd Place in the Top Awards.

On September 5th, Reese Schroeder of liquidoranges presented the liquidoranges STUDIO concept to Hirsch/Bedner Associates, of Santa Monica, California. Lasting just under one hour, Reese presented the concept of integrating art with architecture through glass, and the various specialty interiors products the studio produces. Each attendee received a 6 x 6 glass sample based on "Red Canyon", a foldout image card, and CD-ROM of our latest full glass products catalog.

GANA selects liquidoranges' Original Art Glass for NeoCon 2012

GANA (Glass Association of North America) has selected liquidoranges' 120511sq original #artglass for their Decorative Glass Display at NeoCon in Chicago. We are thrilled to be included. This original art glass piece will be on display for the duration of Neocon 2012 as part of GANA's promotion of the Decorative Glass Division. GANA will be in booth 7-3100c.

ART GLASS CLOCK FACE for Saudi Arabia

The clock face for Electric Time Company, Inc., made for a crown prince in Saudi Arabia is finished. Electric Time asked liquidoranges to produce detailed artwork in glass for the dial, modeled after the Mecca Clock Tower. Glass dial is 53"ø (flat) and made from tempered PPG Starphire glass layers, laminated to produce a 3/8" thick dial designed to fit within the metal bezel manufactured by Electric Time. The hour indicators and metal rings were applied to the surface of the glass by Electric Time, using 3M VHB adhesive tape. Saflex UV PVB was used as a UV-A/UV-B filtration to preserve the artwork.
