This is a must have software for our files. DupeTrasher 2009 can find duplicated files in our system in a fast and easy way then after we can decide to delete. The design is amazing with user friendly interface. DupeTrasher 2009 is rich of features to resolve our problems with duplicated files and remove them. Also can find duplicate folder, can find duplicate archives and their extraction folders but what I like is instead of deleting definitely from the system, is the possibility to move the duplicated files to another folder.

Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Beta with Full Screen, Personas and Windows 7 support

Mozilla has release the first beta of Firefox 3.6, which introduce a partial support for Windows 7, optimized to run on small device operating systems and promises to improve the speed more responsive than previous versions. Firefox 3.6 Beta is built on Mozilla’s Gecko 1.9.2 web rendering platform, which has been under development for several months and contains many improvements for web developers, Add-on developers and users.

Firefox 3.6 – code-named Namoroka introduces very few visible changes from the current version 3.5: Most of the improvements are in fact under the hood. Among the few exceptions is the native support for the new Windows 7 taskbar, with the exception of Jump List.

Today Windows 7 Released, is a Big Day for Microsoft and for the Operation System history. Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs and media center PCs.

Windows 7 (screenshot below) is intended to be a more focused, incremental upgrade to the Windows line, with the goal of being fully compatible with applications and hardware with which Windows Vista is already compatible. Presentations given by Microsoft in 2008 focused on multi-touch support, a redesigned Windows Shell with a new taskbar, a home networking system called HomeGroup, and performance improvements. Some applications that have been included with prior releases of Microsoft Windows, including Windows Calendar, Windows Mail, Windows Movie Maker, and Windows Photo Gallery, will not be included in Windows 7; some will instead be offered separately as part of the free Windows Live Essentials suite.

We are close to final release for Windows 7. The Windows key now performs a wide variety of functions. Here are a handful of the most useful ones:

1. Win+h – Move current window to full screen
2. Win+i – Restore current full screen window to normal size or minimize current window if not full screen
3. Win+Shift+Arrow – Move current window to alternate screen
4. Win+D – Minimize all windows and show the desktop
5. Win+E – Launch Explorer with Computer as the focus
6. Win+F – Launch a search window
7. Win+G – Cycle through gadgets
8. Win+L – Lock the desktop

Upgrading from Ubuntu 9.04

To upgrade from Ubuntu 9.04 on a desktop system, press Alt+F2 and type in update-manager -d into the command box. Update Manager should open up and tell you: New distribution release ‘9.10′ is available. Click Upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions.

New Twitter Homepage with guest Search options

Twitter has a new Home Page which puts a much greater emphasis on Twitter’s key search features.

Most importantly, the new version features search functionality front and center. This way people who aren’t even Twitter users yet can search for things being said on the service. And results are nicely placed on the same page below the main area.

The old Twitter home page was much more focused on the mechanics of status updates, with a block of introductory text that read: "Twitter is a service for friend, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?"
