This beautiful momma is 30 weeks pregnant with twin girls. I am SO happy it’s spring and thrilled to be doing sessions outdoors. This sun flare picture was one of my favorites from the session.

Such a pretty mommy! I can wait to meet the baby girls!

I SO enjoyed getting to photograph this sweet, beautiful family in their home. Their girls are both little beauties and the 2 and a half year old big sister was my constant buddy the entire time I was there, which I LOVED. She has the most adorable little voice and really kept me entertained. At one point she said “You’re doing a great job, Miss Lisa!” Newborn sessions can take awhile and she did amazingly well during the entire time I was there.

I SOOO love this image!! How fun to get this kind of interaction from a three week old baby!

This month we are celebrating our 10th year in business!! (SUPER exciting!) That kind of thing is worth celebrating BIG, so we are doing a huge giveaway. We are partnering with ten of our favorite local businesses in NW Arkansas who are donating either a $100 gift card or two $50 gift cards. I am giving away two sessions that also include a $500 print credit. We’re giving away a total of two prizes, each valued at $1,000!! Here are the fabulous businesses participating in our anniversary giveaway and a sampling of what they offer.

Bloom is a beautiful boutique floral shop in downtown Bentonville and any arrangements we’ve ever sent or received from them have been BEAUTIFUL. Their website says they “create unique, thoughtfully designed, one-of-a-kind botanical masterpieces.” That has always been my experience with them. They also sell plants and gifts.

I’ve carried photo jewelry from Dearly Boutique for almost 10 years. The artist is AMAZING at what she does and each jewelry piece she makes is beautiful and perfect. Everything is made with real stones and sterling silver. I wear jewelry from her almost every day. Here’s a link to Dearly’s newly launched website, Dearly Boutique.

The District Salon is also in downtown Bentonville. My husband and I have gone to Allen for haircuts for many years. (He’s the bomb!) He and the other stylists are really great. In the picture below you’ll see a wall with a bunch of signatures. Each of the stylists have their clients sign their signature wall and it’s filling up fast! It’s located next door to Tavola.

I am SOOOO excited about Meridienne Dessert Salon and Cafe moving from Rogers to downtown Bentonville. They are opening soon and your taste buds will most definitely thank you after eating absolutely anything from there. The amount of creativity and yumminess that are produced there is seriously amazing (Meridienne images below are by Melanie Merkling Photography).

Oh how I LOVE The Perfect Choice! It’s most definitely one of my favorite shops in Bentonville. I love their jewelry and they have a vast selection of gifts ranging from wall decor to purses and scarves to candles and watches, lamps and plants. I always look forward to seeing what new things Gwen has found at market and it is a must see at Christmas time when the store is filled to the brim with decorated Christmas trees. Perfect Choice is located on Walton just a short distance from the Post Office.

Redman and Associates donated a $100 Visa gift card so that you can choose whatever your heart desires to buy with it. They are a multi-facited consulting firm and also own the Zumu and MonsterTrax brands. I have a Zumu stroller/bike trailer and love it. My boys also have the Mater and Lightening McQueen cars shown below and have LOVED riding them. Redman and Associates produces top notch products and excellent customer service as well.

Ropa is a beautiful boutique located in the Shops at Pinnacle Hills. This quote from their website describes their beautiful store much better than I could. “Ropa offers luxury handbags, shoes and jewelry to complement more than 30 designer collections. Fashion-conscious devotees are hooked on cutting-edge lines, such as Lee Angel, that you won’t see anywhere else in town.” Their clothes, shoes and jewelry are all exquisite.

Scott Frame and Art is also in Rogers. They have a huge selection of frames, and I am always wowed by the cool, crazy, fun, old and unique things they frame for people. The last time I was in there, Scott and his team were working on framing a sword as well as an extremely old and very cool Monopoly board. Scott Frame and Art sells unique art pieces and paintings as well. They have an imaging side to the business and there is a ton of information about it on their website.

If you need baby furniture or baby gifts, The Baby’s Room in Rogers is THE place to go. They’ve been in their new location at the Shops at Pinnacle Hills for a little over a year now and are constantly getting in cute gifts and beautiful bedding and furniture. Their baby bags are GORGEOUS and despite having three boys, I tend to spend my time in there ooohhing and ahhing over all of the adorable outfits and accessories that they have for little girls. I’ve photographed many of their tiniest clients and we have a “Wall of Fame” of all of their clients’ newborns that I have photographed.

Among other things, they offer massage therapy, facials, teeth whitening, Botox and Laser Skin Rejuvenation. The spa is a quiet and soothing place and I personally have loved the massages there.

THE MOM PROM

This weekend I’ll be the photographer at the NWA Mom Prom which is being sponsored by NWA Motherlode. Basically it’s a FUN girls night out at the Springdale Holiday Inn Ballroom that will include swag bags, yummy food, drinks, great music, a photo booth and a Flash Mob! (You can learn the dance by watching a video on their website.) Right now there are only 30 tickets left for the first 300 ticket holders who will get a seriously awesome swag bag, so if you are thinking about going, call a girlfriend or two or three and call and get your tickets TODAY. Tickets before the event are $35 and are $40 if you purchase them there. The swag bag gifts are valued at way more than the cost of your ticket. (And by the way, you don’t have to be a “mom” to attend.)

There are going to be raffle tables with 15 packages of items with themes like “Pampering,” “Date Night,” “Razorback” etc. The total value of all of the items is over $5,000 with all of the money from the raffle going to a local charity. Raffle tickets are $1.00 and you can put as many as you want into the different buckets at each package.

I will be taking the RED CARPET and PHOTO BOOTH pictures, which will all be available for a free download after the event.

AUBREY | 6 Months Old

There are not enough adjectives to describe just how cute this little doll is! If her mommy would have stayed, I could have photographed her ALL. DAY. LONG! She’s quite the little model and I may or may not have squealed several times during the session after looking at what I’d captured on the back of my camera. Without further ado, here is six months old Aubrey…

I love that Aubrey’s mommy brought her “Little Sister” shirt to wear with a picture of her big brother.

This is one example of the many reasons I request mommies be in at least a couple of pictures. How sweet for Aubrey to see when she gets older the pure joy her mommy has when looking at and holding her.

I actually hadn’t planned to do this, but decided to see if we could get one shot of her in the frame at the very end of the session.

Ten day old little Mason was SO sweet! He let us pose him however we wanted and even gave me several little smiles. I just never tire of having such fresh-from-God sweetness in my studio!

Luke and Kendall…

are now a year old!

Here are their newborn, six month and one year pictures.

They aren’t smiling in this picture and Luke is looking at me once again like “Aren’t you finished yet, Miss Lisa?” but I love Kendall’s expression and how she has her hand resting on her brother.

One more favorite from when we were trying to get Kendall to smile. Her daddy is good at doing that!

I am so loving all the newborns who have come for sessions recently! Adorable Addison was 13 days old at her session. She was a great little model and gave me some great expressions! Her expression on the last image cracked me up.
