Again with my iPhone, wow I need to dig my Dslr out, lol. These were blooming at my Mom and Dad’s when we visited last month.

I never even noticed the little fellow nestled in until I started to spot it here.

Macro Monday Spiderlings

Some of the first flowers I see in the spring are these trees full of blooms, while still nearly bare of leaves. They are SO pretty and smell great!

While tending to my plants I noticed these spring hatchlings. I was actually surprised my phone would focus on them.

5 generations Macro Monday

Well life has been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to spend time with my macro lens, hoping to change that soon, so I hope you don’t mind that I’m sharing a couple of photos my husband took while we were in Missouri last weekend.

This was the first time ever that we’ve been able to get all five generations together. We started with grandma at the top, then my mom, then me, next my daughter and the tiny one is my granddaughter.

This one didn’t turn out quite like we thought it would but still, Adrianna is holding a dogwood stem, then her mama, me, then my mom, then grandma – going round and round like a rose, lol.

My new glasses – purple and green – in the background you can see y last two pairs were red – this is a big change for me.

Seems everyone I know is using instagram, and maybe I’m just a dufus but I think it’s too limited. I prefer Pixlr-o-matic app on my iPhone, lots and lots of choices, as well as a randomizer button. :0) While there are addons for 99 cents, you can do plenty with the free version (works on iPad too).

I can play while waiting for food, lol.

Apparently you can also get it for your computer - who knew?

PS – Anyone know of a good gardening app? Like for me to journal about what I’ve planted etc . . .

I am not a monster

We’re staying in the basement at my parents’ house, Mikal and Amy too. I needed to go down to get my clothes this morning and the grandkids wanted to go too. Since Aunt Amy was still asleep I didn’t turn on a light but, was relying on the light coming in the door from above. The kids paused halfway into the semidarkness and I plunged ahead. I found my phone in the dark, turned it on and pulled up the flashlight app, all while walking back towards where they stood.

As I turned the light on Addy said with relief, “Ohhhhh, I thought you was a monster.” giggles “I thought you was a monster”

My flowers have held out for so long. Tomorrow we leave for Missouri and they will most likely finish opening the second we leave, lol.

I have loaded wordpress on my iPhone so hopefully will be able to post from it while we’re gone.
