Hi there!

Autumn is here in full force with all the colours on the ground and all the grey in the air.
Foggy days, raincoats, the weight of our umbrellas are a daily routine now.
Nevertheless we are joyous for the indoor activities (nope, not the gym ..) that are coming up our way as November approaches.
I've been waiting eagerly to attend one of the best art shows of the year, that is Contemporary Istanbul, in short CI . After many years of absence, this year I'll manage to be in town to see the outstanding collection that they successfully gather annually.
For the ones who are unfamiliar with the work, here is an excerpt from CI Official site:
"The 11th edition of the fair includes artworks from both established and emerging galleries, bringing a regional and international focus to the dynamic contemporary art scene that has developed in Istanbul in recent decades. Notable for its unique position both geographically and culturally, CI prides itself on bringing together galleries, artists and collectors from Turkey, the Caucasus, the Black Sea, Russia and the Middle East, as well as from Europe, America and Asia."
They are teamed up with Artsy as their official online partner and made us all happy for the opportunity to follow up the event from one of the best digital art platforms today.

MAGNUM PHOTOS Masterclass Workshop experience

I had the chance to attend one ring of this workshop chain, which Magnum Photos hold around the world. The host was the annual Fotografia Europea event in Reggio Emilia, Italy, this 1-3 May 2014 . I was selected for the class of Jonas Bendiksen, a relatively young member of MAGNUM, who's highly praised for his photo-book; Satellites . It was a lively experience , for 3 active days to cross the streets of Reggio and capture pics from a different point of view than you would normally do. At the end we had a screening of our collection on the stage of city opera. Exquisite finish for an unforgettable experiment!

Today I have visited the exhibition of Vermeer and the

same era artists like Rembrandt, which took place in Bologna, including the famous " Girl with a pearl earring " painting.. The museum was also housing a contemporary exhibition of mixed artist, with the works in cohearance with Vermeer paintings or his style. Of course photographing was strickly forbidden in both exhibitions. But anyway i wanted to share my new find, Matteo Massagrande.The painter of incredibly realistic, old and deserted interiors.
