Nick), created the next step in The Writer's Block world - The Writer's Block Social Network! Thanks in part to Ning.com and Nick, we, at The Writer's Block, have our very own social networking site that is along the line, and rivals in my opinion (but then again, I am a little biased) Facebook and MySpace. To list some of the features of our all new social networking site:

-Add Photos
-Add Videos
-Create your own, personal profile
-Blog
-IM (yes, that's right we have an IM client on the site that is integrated like MySpaces that's at the bottom of browser window!)
-And much More!!

So come on over and get back in touch with all of your friends from The Writer's Block without all the pressure of having to write or focus on the literary world that got it all started!

*Note: The Writer's Block Social Networking site is not a substitution, in anyway, for the Original Forums. The Forums are still up and running and still much more being posted on them.

This Week's Bible Study

Hi, it's Kinslayer again. Sorry I haven't been writing up the Bible studies or keeping you posted. I just have had, I hate to say, more important things to tend to. I had to take care of myself for once.

Basically, last week's Bible study was about Who Christ is and how it applies to US. I'll sum this up in as short a manner as possible..As Christians, we are to bear fruit. We aren't to be spiritually lazy. We are to, hate to use this term, use the ABCs of Christianity.
A - Admit that you are a sinner and that Christ died for you, and that He is the only way to heaven
B - Believe in God, and that He sent His one and Only son to die for you
C - Confess publically that Christ is Lord and you have given your life to Him through believer's baptism (I think those are it..)

Is that all? NO. That is only the beginning. We don't get "saved" and then that's it. We have to GIVE OUR LIVE TO HIM. Meaning, serve Him, obey Him, love Him. You serve and obey Him by loving Him. As Klayton wrote,
"It's that simple. That verse sums up the ENTIRE Christian existence in a nut-shell. Christ is the WAY into Heaven. Christ is the TRUTH about everything and what is and isn't true. Lastly, Christ is the LIFE that we should lead. Three steps: The Way, The Truth, The Life"

That sums it all up. We must live our lives for Him. Love Him more than anything else..and..take up our cross DAILY and follow Him. "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23).

Being a Christian
–
Who Christ was and is Applies to Us
(part 2)

Now, onto this week's study. This is part 2 of how Christ applies to us.
This Bible study is honestly brilliant. Klayton states that when you ask a child what it means to be a Christian, their common answer is, "to love Jesus and read the Bible" Now, I had a discussion with a woman I've known named Terry, about childlike faith. When she was little she was on a plane with her mother, and she asked, "Mama, aren't you afraid?" and her mother replied, "No, why would I be? I know where I am going if I die. A much better place than this." If only we could all have childlike faith..Not only a child's faith, but a child's love. A child's purity. Christ, Himself, told His disciples this when they shunned the little children from seeing Him.

Matthew 18:3 – Then he said: I promise you this. If you don't change and become like a child, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven. (CEV)

I'm gonna quote Klayton on this one, and it's important, something we should focus on:
Look it up. Those are Jesus’ very own words. In the ASV (American Standard Version) it says that Jesus said “Verily I say unto you…” which is a very serious thing. In the time of the ASV translation, to use the word “verily” in this context was used only to show people that you are very serious and that you speaking the truth about whatever subject you were speaking on. So for Jesus to say, “Verily I say unto you…” is something that we should spend some serious time dwelling on.

Remember to never take someone's word for anything. Klayton is very learned and intelligent, but look it up yourselves. Don't take my or Klayton's word for anything. Only God's word is complete truth. The Bible tells us we MUST love Jesus. How? We obey Him.
(Matthew 22:37 – Jesus said to him, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.')
With all your heart. With all your soul. With all your mind. WITH EVERYTHING. Every single thing you have you must love God. For He loves us with everything He has.

We are also to read God's word. To study His word. Why? God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. How can we get to know someone, how can we have a relationship with someone, without knowing who they are, and who they were? Well, God's word reveals to us who Christ is and was. These past Bible studies have taught you that.

(Luke 4:16 – Then Jesus went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath he went as usual to the synagogue. He stood up to read the Scriptures (GNB)). As you can see from the GNB (Good News Bible) translation, Jesus read the scriptures in the synagogue to the others which only goes to show that if we are indeed to be Christians we MUST read the Bible and love God.

To sum it all up, "As I said, Jesus lived that simple little child’s response and told us to live it to. So think on that one this week and when you respond, I want you to give me your insight on that child’s response. I even encourage you to go out and ask a little child (who belongs to a church) that question, “What does it mean to be a Christian?” and see what kind of response you get from them."

Here is the prayer and it is an honestly a great prayer to pray each day.
Dear Father
Thank you so much for being compassionate and for living the simple child’s answer of what it means to be a Christian. Without that simple little, but very important, answer and life style, we truly would be lost and wouldn’t know what the fundamental element of what means to be Christ-like.
In you precious name, Amen.

His Love Endures Forever,
Hayley

Some New Things....

My Apologies...

I know there wasn't a Bible Study posted up this week and I apologize because I had a lot happen to me this week and I just never got the time to do it. I will have the new one up for everyone this Sunday. Again I apologize and I can't wait to get back at the weekly Bible Study. To those who haven't participated in them, you can join in on the discussion at any time. As well as go back to the old Bible studies and add your input.

The Poetry Project

As was mentioned in the last Blog our Poetry Project is up and running and at full force. We have entries from Kinslayer, Puppet's Scorn, Poetgirl, and myself and people are really putting up their best stuff. I'm enjoying reading the entries from those who participate in the project and can't wait to see what else they bring to the table. I'm enjoying seeing the participation of this project very much and I know that Puppet's Scorn is as well.

Rule Amendment Announcement

Puppet's Scorn and I have noticed that people are holding off on joining the Poetry Project so that they can submit for only certain categories of the project and we are a little concerned with this. We set up the project so that it was an even balance for everyone to participate in the project to be shown there diversity of writing and styles. What we didn't want is for the project to be "lumpy and lopsided" by way of certain categories having more in them than others.

For example, (and we know this to be true) most people are waiting for the LOVE category before they will write anything because they don't want to be viewed as a negative person. Well, that's all fine but if everyone writes for just the LOVE category then everything else suffers because of it. We don't want that so we have created this amendment.

Everyone who wishes to partake of the Poetry Project (whether it be for one category or all of them is irrelevant) will have to submit AT LEAST three poems for each category in order to participate. This is to prevent the book to be uneven and for the categories to be even in the amount of content they contain.

As we understand this may not be all the convenient or what you wanted but this is what we need to see happen because of the nature of what we are doing here. Thank you for your openness and willingness to help make this a success. We greatly appreciate it from all who are and will take part in this project. If you have any questions, please either Puppet's Scorn or myself either a PM or email us.

New Member of the Family

We got a new member to the family, Brianne Tokugawa, who (I think) will be a fun addition to our ever growing family here at The Writer's Block! Welcome Brianne Tokugawa!

God Bless,
Klayton
a.k.a. Okay..I have a few announcements. We have a game going on called HVZ. Just for the record, I don't really understand it, but you might..so..have at it. We have some great stories in the Storyteller's Nook. Orphan Boy and Orphan boy II, Longing & Lustfulness (Pt. 1 & 2) and then My Path Through Her (PT 1) Also, Countless Thoughts Of A Hopeless Mind.

That's about it for announcements. The Bible study this week is the third part of Who Christ Was and Is..so, last week I had a few statements that summarized some of the Bible study for those who didn't read it..

God is love. Jesus was God in flesh. Therefore, Jesus is love. We know that love is the fulfillment of the law.
Romans 13:10 says: Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

Matthew 5:18 – Heaven and earth may disappear. But I promise you that not even a period or comma will ever disappear from the Law. Everything written in it must happen. (CEV)

Regular laws just change constantly. We realize from this Bible Study that the Law of Moses never changed..as Bayomir stated, "Go back and read Matthew 5:18 and then take a look at many laws and rules that we have today. The laws and rules that we have in society today are CONSTANTLY changing and being ratified and revamped, but the Law of Moses has NEVER changed, why is that? The Law of Moses, even by atheists, is and was considered to be the principle of morality and ethics, atheists just have difference of opinion on God and Jesus. So, if the Law of Moses, unwavering and unchanging, was and still is regarded as the principle of morality and ethics, even by atheists, then it stands to reason that it’s pretty important to adhere to and follow right?" I couldn't say it any better myself, so..I chose to just quote him. The word of God is a huge part of the law, and if Jesus is the live word of God, then He came to fulfill the law fully with no sin. Sometime we cannot do as imperfect humans. He had to fulfill the law only by NOT sinning, though He was tempted, just as we humans are. Yet he never sinned, hence, fulfilling the law. We realize that Jesus was the ONLY one sent to fulfill the law, and as humans it is impossible for us to do so.

For those of you who are sitting there wondering, "Well, if being angry is murdering in the Law of Moses, then wasn't Jesus a murderer? He got angry at the temple of God! That means He sinned and did not completely fulfill the law" Wrong.

Matthew 21:12-13 – Then Jesus went into the temple of God and He cast out all those buying and selling in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" (EMTV)

People assume and say, "Well, Jesus got angry. It's good to be angry!" Where does it say that Jesus got angry? No where. Jesus never necessarily got angry with anyone or anything.

Mark 11:15-18 – After Jesus and his disciples reached Jerusalem, he went into the temple and began chasing out everyone who was selling and buying. He turned over the tables of the moneychangers and the benches of those who were selling doves. Jesus would not let anyone carry things through the temple. Then he taught the people and said, "The Scriptures say, 'My house should be called a place of worship for all nations.' But you have made it a place where robbers hide!" The chief priests and the teachers of the Law of Moses heard what Jesus said, and they started looking for a way to kill him. They were afraid of him, because the crowds were completely amazed at his teaching. (CEV)

By the way..part of teaching is to correct.

cor·rect Audio Help /kəˈrɛkt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[kuh-rekt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

–verb (used with object)
1. to set or make true, accurate, or right; remove the errors or faults from: The native guide corrected our pronunciation. He was REBUKING THEM. He wasn't angry at them and sinning, He was rebuking them from sin.

The last part of the Bible Study I'm just going to copy from the original Bible Study:

"What Mark does here is give us the more full picture of what really happened in the Temple courtyard. Jesus didn’t get angry with them, He simply forced them to stop their selling in the Temple, then TAUGHT (I want this engrained into you head, after He did this He taught them and spoke to them. He didn’t get irate or angry, He simply taught them and asked them, “…doesn’t the Scriptures say, ‘My house should be called a house of prayer’…”) So, that right there is proof that the incident with the vendors in the Temple has no bearing on Jesus NOT fulfilling the Law of Moses.

"With that said, I would like to say, really reflect on who Jesus was and is as we have covered over the past three weeks because starting next week, we will get into part 2 of the series where we will be learning and looking at how who He was and is relates to us today. I will leave you with one of my favorite verses, which I personally believe should be EVERY single person’s (who calls themselves a Christian) prayers.

Psalm 119:18 – Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your Law. (NIV)

Dear Father,
I thank you for coming here to earth to be all God and all Man, that you may understand the things we do. Thank you for coming and dieing on the cross for us after having completed and fulfilled the Law of Moses, as it was designed for. Thank you so much for fulfilling the Law so that we an be saved and enter into the Heaven and stand by you and worship you for eternity. In all things we pray. Amen

and back to me..I ask you guys to also change this verse into a prayer for yourselves:

Therefore, rid yourselves of everything impure and every expression of wickedness, and with a gentle spirit welcome the word planted in you that can save your souls. - James 1:21

Changed version: "Therefore, God, rid me of everything impure and every expression of wickedness, with a gentle spirit, allow me to welcome the Word planted in me which can save my soul."

His Love Endures Forever,
Hayley

The Poetry Project

It's finally here!

The Writer's Block Poetry Project is officially underway!

The Poetry Project is in the same fashion as The Writer's Block Project in where a book will be written by you, the members. There are seven different categories that everyone will write about, one at a time. Everyone will have an equal opportunity to the same amount of work in the Poetry Project as everyone else. Any and everyone is welcome to participate and partake of the this amazing and wonderful opportunity. After everyone and every category has been written about, The Poetry Project will be put together and submitted to become a published poetry anthology.

For those who are wondering what we are going to be writing about, here are the categories:

<align="center">Darkness
Anger
God
Love
Romance
Choices
Stories</align>

Each category will be gone over one at a time and will have everyone's best work in each of them. How this will be accomplished is by having people and those involved with the Project vote/rank everyone's entries from one (1) to five (5) (one being the favorite, five the least favorite). Each number one ranked entry a person receives will go into that person's "Finals" list. After a person has five (5) number one (1) ranked entries in their "Finals" list, those "Final Five" will be voted/ranked once more. The top three (3) (1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranked entries) for that person will be added and be apart of the actual book that is be published.

For more information on The Poetry Project, go to the Poetry Alley section on the board.

We hope that everyone one will partake in this opportunity and enjoy doing what they love to do...write!

Being a Christian Part 2

Hi. I don't really know what kind of updates I have. We do have new off-topics, lyrics and poems..Including, "Japanese Superman," "The Bear Says Yes," and "You don't know me but I know you" All good, unique, creative, AWESOME stuff, so check it out!

Now on to the Bible study. This is part 2 of Being A Christian - Who Christ Was and Is. As you read in last week's study Jesus was the God-man (Hypostatic Union) We also learned Jesus had to follow the book of God's law because He was Human, and as we are Humans, so do we. We realize the law has deeper meaning than anything before Jesus explained it..

We realize how much deeper the law ran..because we realize that by murdering someone..wasn't just literal. Infact, if we are to hate someone in our hearts, and keep that hatred, we have commited murder. Just as if we even so much as look at someone besides our spouse lustfully..We may as well have commited adultery. As we have in our hearts. Those aren't the only laws that go into depth, but we will use those as examples for now.

Now, on to the reason FOR and OF the law. The law judges your actions, your emotions, and your THOUGHTS. There is literally no escape from it. Now do you understand just how deep the law goes? God knew this, and He knew the true meaning of the Law. Now we realize..Jesus was the only one that fulfilled the law.. We all sin, and we all break the law of God at times..

Matthew 5:17 - Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

Jesus said that, and so HE DID. As He said before He died.. "It is finished." we know that He came to fulfil the law and forgive us our debts and sin and He did so. This should give you more of a clear picture of who Jesus was and what He came to do..

So since we understand that the Law of Moses, firstly, was given to Moses as the instructions on what we are to do to get into heaven. Secondly, that we as humans can't fulfill the Law, and thirdly that Jesus was the ONLY one to fulfill the Law; what do we conclude?

The law of Moses was to show us that we need Jesus Christ in order to get into Heaven. That's the purpose of the law. Since Jesus was the only person ever perfect enough to fulfill the law and uphold it to it's complete degree. So, basically, we need Jesus to get into heaven. If you want more depth..this is what Bayomir wrote:

That's the true purpose of the Law of Moses. Since Jesus WAS and IS the only person EVER to fulfill and uphold the Law to its complete and fullest degree; it's design was to show us that we cannot get into heaven BUT through the blood of the lamb-Christ Jesus. So now that we have seen That Jesus was and is the God-man who came to earth fulfill the Law of Moses so that everyone has the capability to get into heaven, he next thing to see is how He upheld the Law while alive so that we can continue to understand who Christ was and is.

Dear God,
Thank you Father that you sent your only Son to this earth as a man to fulfill your Law passed down to Moses that so that through Him we can reach heaven and stand in your glory forever.
Amen

and that concludes the study.

                                                          His Love Endures Forever,
                                                                   Hayley

Reveal your inner athlete and share it with friends on Windows Live. Share now!

Bible Study - Being a Christian

First of all, we have a few new members! Yay. We have WordsofGrace and anniearyzu. Both friends of most of the members on The Writer's Block, and excellent debaters and writers. We're excited to have them. Now, on to the Bible Study..

Alright. This week's Bible Study is a part 1 of 3 topics about being a Christian and what tasks God has in store for us, what plans He has set forth for us. We're going to talk a little about who Jesus was and is still today. Keep in mind, Jesus never changes. Throughout this whole thing, we're going to talk about what it means to REALLY be a Christian. Again, we will be looking at how Jesus relates to us as humans. Now, I know that some people think that getting saved is just your ticket to Heaven and that's it. Yes, you will have a home-made in heaven, but God asks us to do more than that. We'll talk a little bit about that throughout this study.

We should all remember that what makes us different from the world, is that we are saved. There are only two kinds of people in this world, SAVED SINNERS, and LOST SINNERS.
Romans 3:23 proves it (For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.)
All means ALL. Every single one of us, the only thing that separates us, DOESN'T make us any better than anyone else..we are all equal, but what separates us is the fact of LIFE or DEATH. Whether we are saved by only the grace of God, or dead, destined to a life of eternal hell. Which one are you?

The Bible says we are to be Christ-Like. It doesn't say we're supposed to BE God, because that's impossible. But it asks us to obey God's commandments, I think we can at least do that. Please, keep in mind, that getting saved is easy, being a true Christian is not.

2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.

The keyword is to TURN from sin. Repent. Some people mistake the word, "repent" for "forgive" or something like that. Repent is to TURN AWAY..and NEVER COME BACK. Never go back to that place. Or else you're not really repenting, because you know in your heart, if you go back to that place, you are stuck once again.

"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell." Matthew 5:27-30

Do not take this verse literally. They don't mean to literally pluck your eye out, or harm yourself physically. What it means, is METAPHORICALLY, if something is there, and it is causing you to sin, get rid of it. Don't waste time. Get rid of it. If it is in the way, and it's hindering your walk with God, GET RID OF IT. Pluck it out, put it behind you. Prove your love for God. He is stronger than anything in this WORLD, He has more love for you then anyone, or anything could. Get rid of it. Get rid of whatever is hindering your walk with God. The longest and hardest process of repentance, is letting go and getting rid of that sin you're holding on to.

John 21:15-17,

15 So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My lambs."
16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Shepherd My sheep."
17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep."

Jesus asks Simon if He is loved over "these" what are your THESE? Do you love God more than sex? Do you love God more than sexual lust? Do you love God more than alchohol? Do you love God more than drugs, more than video games, more than any addiction that fills that hole. Above all things, LOVE is most imporant. One way you show your love for God is obedience. Obey him.
Deuteronomy 30:10 – "But you must decide once and for all to worship him with all your heart and soul and to obey everything in The Book of God's Law."

Deuteronomy 32:46 – "he said, 'Always remember this song I have taught you today. And let it be a warning that you must teach your children to obey everything written in The Book of God's Law.'"
Bayomir asks you think about what the law is and write down what it is. Go ahead, write it down and next week he will give you the answer to what the law is and what it's FOR. So..think hard about it.

                                                          His Love Endures Forever,
                                                                   Kin

This Week's Bible Study

This week's topic is Jesus relating to us and being able to help us effectively when we ask for it.

Hebrews 4:15 - Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin!

I'll be reporting the Bible Study (Armory) Forum on the Board. First, I'd like to say Bayomir is awesome with this. The Bible study is great, informative and definitely teaches you something new about God through His word. Of course we know that there are only two ways to know God personally, and those ways are as follows:

1. Knowing Jesus as your Lord and Savior
and
2. Learning about God through his wonderful word!

Now, on to the Bible Study.
Now, Bayomir reminds us in the study that Jesus was God in human-flesh. To reiterate, Jesus was a God-man! He was ALL man, ALL God (look up the term Hypostatic Union). He felt human emotions, He felt temptation, BUT HE DID NOT SIN, again as Hebrews 4:15 says. Satan is tricky, He knows the Bible forward and backwards, guys. Personally, I can say from experience, that knowing the Bible helps you become prepared, and be able to fight Satan, but I'm not saying he won't use it against you. He twists it to make it sound like it's okay! Satan starts trying to get you to make excuses... "Well...I can have a little taste." NO! You can't. There's no such thing as a little taste or sip, once you have that sip, you're hooked. He's got you. Now, as far as I know, in most religions, their "gods" do not relate to humans. The amazing thing about our God is He does and He is 3 in one! He's the Powerful, He's the Merciful, and He lives within us. He's the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. (The Father is the powerful, The Son is the Merciful, and the Holy Spirit lives within us. Got it?) Oh, it's so amazing. I love to describe God as the, "Three In One"

Something else Bayomir mentions is, Jesus CHOSE to come down to earth to die for our sin. Personally, I don't think I could die for a world that hated me. Infact, I KNOW I couldn't. I couldn't die for ONE person that hated me, especially not a world! Yet Jesus died for us while we were sinners. Romans 5:8 says

"But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, EVEN THOUGH we were sinful."

So, remember, when you're being tempted (like I've been many times and I still am everyday) Jesus has been through it. He knows what it feels like to be tempted. The only difference is, Jesus didn't sin. Before you sin, think about how MUCH He did for you. How much He DOES for you. Think about how, when He was starving and thirsting in the desert, He didn't fall under sin's sweet sway. No, He stood strong and He was sinless. He died sinless for you, for me, for everyone. As Bayomir said:

"...remember that Jesus went through it too, including temptation. He faced humiliation, betrayal, being lied to, being conspired against (which most people can't even relate to but He went through it), beaten, laughed at, PUT TO DEATH (I just want this one emphasized here, Jesus can even relate to you in dieing), adored, celebrated, followed, teaching, loving, anger (Mark 10:14, Matthew 21:12), and every other emotion and situation that you will encounter. Why did He personally put Himself through all of that…for you. That's right, all of it was for you."

I will close this by saying, God bless you all, and keep reading! :)

                                                      His Love Endures Forever,
                                                            Hayley/Kinslayer

New Members and Great Topics!

Hello. I'm Kinslayer, and as Bayomir said I'm the new blogger here. He said I will be, and I quote verbatim, " .. continuing to give you the info you want about the things going on at The Writer's Block and be giving it to you in a fun fashion.." so, here I am! I can't promise I will be giving it to you in a fun fashion :P I've never been much of the fun type. However, I will do my best to adapt to writing on here and give you the information you need.

We have a new member on the Writersblock, TaraMJ. She's only submitted one poem so far, but it's a great poem! We have a few other recently new members who joined, who are quite active. Namingly, Poetgirl and 2Bit, who joined about a month ago or so. The forum is growing, and we've got a pretty good selection of people here. The literary talent of all of them is wonderful. We have a new post in the off-topic section called, "When I Think About The Lord" I posted it, but a few people replied very good responses in there. I would put Bayomir's response on here, but it's very long. I will describe it, however. He posted about thinking about the horrible way Jesus had to die for our sin. He went into long-detail about imagining if it were us on that cross. If it were us being betrayed by our best friend, betrayed by our people and followers, betrayed and sold out for some murderer. Betrayed in every single way, and killed in the most brutal fashion. Yet, He died for the people whose nails were pierced to the cross. Anyway, he posted an awesome reply to the post, and I thank him! It was the reply I was looking for. Not that I was looking for one, more expecting one. I hope this little update helped. I don't really know what else to update about! I'll keep you posted.

                                                          His Love Endures Forever,
                                                                   Hayley/Kinslayer

With Windows Live for mobile, your contacts travel with you. Connect on the go.

New Forum on the Board!

We have just added a new forum on the board...The Armory! Writing and keeping you updated on the events that occur on the forums. We are pleased to have a blog that will allow people to read the updated info on our site.

We are very excited with all that our members are doing on the site and we are constantly looking for more to join and partake in the fun and excitement that is awaiting inside. We have just started some new things that are going to be quite fun and will get people involved in the forums and with each other.

THE WRITER'S BLOCK PROJECT is one of those new things. THE WRITER'S BLOCK PROJECT is an ongoing, perpetual story that is created, developed, and written solely by the members of the site. That means that any and everybody, that is a member, can add to the progression and development of the story. Most people don't quite understand what this means, so I'll elaborate a little. If you decide to participate in the Project, you will have the authority to do what ever you wish to the story (as long as you follow some guidelines that have been laid out) because you are now one of the story's authors.

If you want to kill off a character, you can do that. If you want to through in a twist in the plot, you can do that as well. The story is now in your hands! It is literally an interactive book! You and the other readers/participant will embark on a journey that you decide where it goes and how it ends up. This is novelty at it's finest because all other books out there have a predetermined story that the author wants you to follow, but here there is no predetermined story line to follow because the next stop in the story is entirely up to you!

This is our biggest project going for us right now, but there are many more to come. We also, just recently, started our awards program that any and everyone can partake in. To find out more about that, you will need to join the forums and see all that we have to offer.

Well, until next time. Keep reading, writing, and loving the literary arts!

Bayomir
The Chief Editor
