I can’t wait to go and spend some quality time with them.  I have been looking forward to this trip for quite a while now and I think we will have a lot of fun.

We might slip in a day at Cedar Point since we are in the area…worlds best roller coasters are supposed to be there…

I will make sure to take plenty of pictures and video for youtube..lol

Anyway, I am really looking forward to my upcoming fishing trip, I will be driving up from Maryland to near Buffalo New York and visiting with my 2 kids and then my son and I will drive over to Ohio and stay in a hotel and meet my dad and enjoy a week of fishing and hanging out until the 4th of July.

I need a break from work and to spend some time with some family.

I would like to get back to Indiana sometime this summer, we will see what happens and if we can ever get some money saved up…always something these days…

It is just like time, people always say they never have time, but if you never make time, how can you ever have it?  The same thing goes for happiness, if you never create happiness, how can you ever find it?  The concept is so simple, that people can’t see it.  Kind of like sunshine, it is right outside your window, but you don’t see it because you have the blinds pulled down all the time.

Another thing about constantly looking for happiness is that when you do finally find it, because you have been lost out in the world for so long, you don’t even realize it is sitting right in front of you.  I guess what I am saying is if you want to be found and brought to the light, first you have to get lost out in the wilderness that is the world.

We all have our path to take in this world, one thing that has helped me tremendously, if I am stressed out and on the verge of losing it, is if I take 5 minutes in a quiet place by myself and close my eyes and clear every thought in my mind and say a silent prayer and accept some light into my mind.  You would be surprised the impact this can have on your day friends.

I remember SSgt Peters, he fell way before his time, back in July 2004 in northern Iraq, a roadside bomb went off as he was manning the gun on the back of the truck, he didn’t survive…it made a huge impact on our unit, the 494th…I wasn’t prepared for that to happen, although death was just a breath away the whole time I was over there…You will never be forgotten brother…

I remember my Grandpa, he was a big, loud guy, I have heard stories about how mean he could be, I never really seen it, perhaps we remember the best of people…making their memory worth saving…

So many years have gone by and it is a constant struggle to balance the time and energy to keep everything in my life moving forward.  I apologize to my family back in Indiana and my kids for not being a larger part of their lives.  I get so caught up in what is happening right here, right now, that I don’t take time to keep them informed on things going on with me.

In any case, a life full of regrets is not one worth living, so we can’t change the past, but we can make a difference right now.  Call your Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Son or Daughter and tell them you love them and miss them right now.  It will make a difference, believe it or not.
