The <a href="http://www.litmagkiosk.com/" title="journal">journal</a> invites submissions discussing innovative interpretations of classic and contemporary facility of <em>literature</em>. Primarily directed to persons who teach literature in all genres, in college and university classrooms, the journal provides usable, readable and timely material designed to keep readers abreast of fresh developments and shifts in the theory and practice of literature.</p>
<p>The journal encourages a variety of approaches to textual analysis and criticism on English, American, European and Eastern literature, in addition to minority and Third World literatures, oral literatures and interdisciplinary, comparative studies, such as the intersections of literature with anthropology, computers, film, etc.</p>
<p>College Literature also offers the general reader distinctly fresh understandings and planning provoking discussions of literary works, Shedding fresh light on classic literature as well as diverse, fresh thinking about trendy and familiar work.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Cold Mountain Review</strong> is a forum for well told <em>stories</em>. Cold Mountain Review publish the <strong>narrative poetry</strong> and <strong>lyrical prose</strong>. Cold Mountain Review are interested in the way contemporary literature is testing the boundaries of genre. Each issue of CMR features work intended to delight the reader to unexpected landscapes, emotional terrains that are sometimes joyful, occasionally disconcerting, continually interesting.</p>
<p>Since its founding 35 years ago, CMR has featured writers such as Robert Morgan, R.T. Smith, Natasha Trethewey, Virgil Suarez and Fred Chappell. CMR contributors have among them an Academy Award in Literature and a number of other accolades that attest to the quality of conversation that has long been taking place in the pages of CMR.</p>
<p>Writers suffer various approaches to storytelling and they write for varied reasons, but when they publish their work in CMR, they are telling their story directly to you, the reader. Lean in. Listen.</p>

<p>Published three time for each year, every issue includes poetry, translations, prose, interviews, reviews, art and photography.</p>
<p>Authors have integrated Tess Gallagher, Eleanor Wilner, Laura Kasischke, Ray Gonzalez, James Harms, Robert Kelly, Patricia Fargnoli, Karen An-Hwei Lee, Pura López-Colomé, Anna Akhmatova, Osip Mandelshtam, Boris Pasternak, Marina Tsvetaeva, Hai Zi and Abdelwahab Meddeb.</p>
