I have been an official i-Phone owner for 1 month, and I am so absolutely head over heels in love.  There are many reasons why, but that is for another post. This post, my favorite photos thus far. Some of them are in instagram, others are edited in photoshop.

I phone takes really good close up shots. This one was in instagram. I love Peonies, and have to wait all year for a glimpse of their soft ruffly petals.

“Take a picture of me!” This one is straight out the camera.  Seriously cracks me up.

I love using my i-phone to take product photos, especially close ups like this one. This one is a Romper that makes me miss when I had a cuddly little baby.

Rosettes are lovely. I love Instagram’s border and frames. I just downloaded 2 new apps, Pictureshow and Frametastic that are super fun, but I’m not quite used to them yet.

I love taking photos of food. Seriously love it. Weird I know, but I guess that doesn’t change the fact that I still do it. This photo was before carne asada on a Sunday last week.

We designed this halter as an add on to a halter that was one of our clients favorites. I love these colors. Taupe and Egg Shell Blue. I phone photo.

This is a photo of my new fav. place on 25th Street, Pampas Bakery. Seriously the best treats ever. Carmel or Vanilla Creme. Made fresh every day. My favorite afternoon snack.

Kath made a litter bug for school. I took a photo. I guess the reason I love taking photos so much on this phone is that it captures moments so simply, at the click of a button, and the image is mine forever.

It is tutu time of year again! I made this one last week, and snapped away. We have been making red,white, and blue, plus every other color under the sun.

A customer paired these two together and it was such an unexpected combo, that I had to take a photo. Love love love.

I just came across a photo of a 6 Month old Picture Onesie that we made a few months back, and it made me laugh, it is so cute, so I thought I would share. Funny, huh.

This was super simple to make. We used an Andee Lew Onesie, and strips of soft turquoise knit jersey. I stitched them with a running stitch and then ruffled them. I then designed them into the 1/2 on the shirt, pinned it, and stitched them on with the same color thread. Easy! She paired this onesie with these:

These thermometers remember the last reading, are sterile, can be sanitized, and are free of BPA’s. I love it!

Mother’s Day: The one day of the year that Mom’s are to be pampered and waited on.

Here are my top Mother’s Day 2012 picks. Think of all of the mamas that you can get gifts for. You, your Mom, Your Mother in Law, Grandmas, Aunts. The list is endless! And if you a hubby here reading this, welcome, we love hubby’s. Especially husbands that are on the internet looking for a perfect gift for their sweetie. P.S. There is a reason that Mother’s Day is such a big holiday, Mama’s make the world go around.

1. Homemade Scrub. Homemade Scrub is a quick and easy DIY gift idea, that you can make yourself, and give to all the Mama’s in your life. There are tons of recipes out there, but the majority of them have salt, sugar, and and oil. I like Olive Oil, it makes your skin silky smooth.

2. iphone 4S.

I know, so cliche, get her an iPhone, right? But if, the lady in your life has been begging for one, why not just surprise her. You might be surprised at the deal that you can get on iphones from your phone provider.

3. Diaper Bag.

I hear it every single day. What is so special about a Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag that  it costs $175 dollars. And to that I say, well, you can use it every day, and it will last you for 5 years. That means it is 9 cents a day to carry a Petunia Bag. And in the off chance that yours breaks, they will do a very good job at getting it fixed for you. Plus look at it! Adorable!

4. Subscription to Birch Box.

I was first introduced to Birch Box a few weeks ago from my Designer friend Tia, and I love it! They send you a monthly box of samples of the newest beauty supply products on the market. What a great way to find new things that you like, rather then spending all of that money on a product that you may or may not like.

5. Toms Ballet Flats

Toms new line of ballet flats are seriously adorable. I am in love with the leopard ones. Already have the black ones. If your lady mama likes the original Toms, go look in her closet at the size, and then order her a pair of these flats. Big Mother’s Day win.

6. Breakfast in bed.

7. Perfume.

I heart perfume. Some say it’s hard to buy perfume as a gift, I say, it’s easy.

Just smell the bottle and imagine what it would smell like on the person that you are giving it to.

Perfume = happy mama.

Details: Cost is $25 to each designer, no commissions on any sale.

You can bring a small folding table and a single chair no bigger then 5 feet long.

The designer bears the entire responsibility for collecting, charging, and submitting sales tax, and will be required to sign a contract relieving Little Cherry Blossoms of that duty.

Only 1 designer per table. Each additional designer will be charged a fee.

May set up Friday evening.

What to Expect the First Year is the bible of parenting books. I honestly think every single parent should have one.

I have two very distinct memories with this book.

The first was when my oldest was 24 hours old. She had small traces of blood in her stools. I was already a super nervous parent ( I held her for 4 months straight) and seeing red blood literally made me lose my mind. I looked it up in this book, and it said that is was caused by dairy in my diet, that the dairy was cutting her intestines. Check. No more dairy for mama. My pediatrician told me to stop breastfeeding. I changed pediatricians. The book said cut out ALL dairy, and she will be fine. She is now 7 and only in the past few years has she started liking dairy products.

The second memory was just a few weeks ago. My 3 year old passed out cold when my girls were running around after dinner. I am talking flat on the ground, eyes rolled back in her head, out cold. Seriously one the scariest moments in my entire life. We didn’t know if she had hit her head or had a seizure or what.

After investigating we came to the conclusion that she was crying so hard from falling, and was already winded from running around and doing back flips, that she deprived herself from oxygen and passed herself out!

After I realized that I did not have to call 911, I ran and got this book. It told me how to check her vitals to make sure that she did not have a head injury.

Check and check.

Among other things, it talks about  breastfeeding, vaccines, first foods, and many common childhood illnesses.

I recommend that all you mamas put this book on your baby registry and keep it and read it often.

It is seriously awesome.
