Not so long ago, we tried for baby number two and in one month we were pregnant. I’m about 15 weeks along and couldn’t be any happier that my Little Aries will have a baby sister or baby brother.

Pregnancy so far has been a challenge: I was hospitalized once and doctor recommend some bed rest and antibiotics.

Morning sickness has been moderate – but some-days have been horrible that all I want to do is stay in bed. Every food made me nauseous after eating.

We are just so happy to tackle this journey once again. Oh, and please bear with me while I settle in and catch up on all my emails. I just hope my morning sickness pass soon.

P.S See the sonogram above? It was taken at 11 weeks and 5 days. There is something there that looks like a 3 toe foot… wonder what it that is? It so cute anyways.

Today, I’m sharing a delicious and super easy recipe for popsicles over at Nature Box by using a simple Aguas Frescas theme from Mexico. Ever since I was a kid, I loved Aguas Frescas and decided to freeze that agua fresca and turn into a popsicle so my daughter could enjoy. Now, she can stop asking “Mommy, more canalupe posicles” in her sweet baby voice.

Aguas Frescas Popsicles: Sandia & Melon (Watermelon & Cantaloupe)

Ingredients

• 2-3 Cups of large pieces of seed-less watermelon & cantaloupe
• ⅔ cup of water
• Popsicle mold & popsicles sticks
• Optional: Pure cane sugar or your favorite natural sweetener if necessary.

Instructions

1. In a blender, add pieces of watermelon or cantaloupe and water.
2. If your fruit is not sweet enough; I like to add a few teaspoons of sugar to give it a sweeter taste. Blend well.
3. Using a food mesh, on top of a large container; add the watermelon or cantaloupe puree mix to the mesh. Stir until all juice is strained.
4. Add the juice to the popsicle molds and freeze.

It’s finally time to put those thick winter coats up in the loft until next year, but you might want to go further than that to keep kids cool and comfortable at school for the summer term.

Swap School Shoes

While winter school shoes need to be good at keeping out all weathers, summer school shoes are all about keeping feet cool and sweat-free, to make sure that your kids are comfortable at school. Check the school policy as some don’t allow sandals for health and safety reasons. If this is the case then a pair of ballet style pumps can be a good compromise for girls (choose a pair with a cross strap for younger girls). Refresh the Polo Shirts

Pack away those thick school sweaters and refresh the stock of polo shirts for a smart, gleaming white look. Outdoor PE

Kids are likely to be making the most of the outdoor sports facilities, which means that simple plimsolls might not make the grade. Send them to school with a supportive pair of outdoor trainers, with a good grip, for running, jumping and playing in.

As well as the above, don’t forget to make sure that your child is protected from the sun while at school. Pack them a bag with sun cream, shades and a sun hat, so they can stay sun safe in the playground, for a happy, enjoyable and comfortable summer term.

I just love easy and simple craft projects that I can do in minutes but sometimes I dislike the after the mess I make while crafting.
