My mom has been asking me for months which play kitchen to get the kids. After spending hours researching I have FINALLY made a decision on the Step 2 LifeStyle Dream Kitchen. I unfortunately don't love the look of this one, but the reviews everywhere show the KIDS love this one the most. It has the most bells and whistles and can entertain more than 1 kid at the same time (so Lila and Noah can both play at the same time). It is $140 on Amazon
with free shipping. I will take a video or picture of the kids with it once we have it set up and write my own review! Thanks Nana & Papi!

A Rainy Weekend For DC

I have been so bad about the weekend updates this past winter, but I am back with some ideas for events going on this weekend that looked interesting:

Semi-Annual Sale Children's Equipment Exchange - This is the sale I went to in the Fall. It is sponsored by the parents of multiples who donate all their used and slightly used item. My Crazy Cheescake Factory Hospital Adventure

So yesterday Brian and I had my parents over and a brief time period to run out and have a "romantic lunch" together at the Cheesecake Factory. You will die when you hear what happened....only ME! We decided to split the barbecue chicken salad and the summer rolls. As I took a bite of salad I got that feeling when something went down the wrong pipe. The feeling just kept getting worse and worse and then to the point where I was screaming in pain like a heart attack. My husband attempted the hymlic smacked my back, etc. but my chest pains started getting excruciating. I was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital and given many test, but all looked ok. They gave me many drugs which finally stopped the terrible pain and diagnosed it as esaphagus spasms and that something had damaged my esophagus. Lessons learned from this experience....be careful what may be in your food and don't ever attempt the hymlic or slap someone on their back if their breathing (however, that did not cause the issue)...but in the end....freak things like this can happen at ANYTIME!
