This was lovely. I am right there with you. It's easy to polish things up online, whereas you can only polish things up so much off-line before people realize the dirt that is underneath. Even though I try to be as open as possible, I know I hold back so much in the name of "encouragement."

I pray you find God's favor in all that you do. Blessings.

Unfortunately, people on your Restricted list can only see public content (https://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=206571136073851#What-happens-when-I-add-someone-to-the-Restricted-list?). Perhaps make your own "restricted" list, which you normally hide things from--that way you could share things with them on occasion without making those things public?

How can I share a photo album with people on my restricted list without making the album public? FB automatically restricts them from seeing an album, even if I select their name in the 'share with' menu.

Yep, me too, I'd rather be in the middle of the muck-n-mire than sitting purty on the outside looking in.

And for writerly quiet, a flashlight, pen & paper under the covers in the middle of the night works for me. ;-)

Blessings.
