I don't ever get tired of picture books, especially Creature. I'm sure some of you have seen before. It is one of my favorite's. It's a picture/photography book of real animals. Happy New Year everyone! I took quite a break and it was much needed. Things got crazy with the holidays, our nanny having a baby and going on "maternity leave", a start of a new year and my little miss B going to Montessori school/day care for the first time. Let's just say I've been juggling schedules, babysitters, work and everything else out of norm this 2012. Hope yours is fantastic so far!

These are some photos of the last few weeks. A lot I have posted on Instagram (are you obsessed as I am? I've been on for a couple months now and love!) The weather has been ah-mazing here in California. Where is winter? I heard this weekend is to be in the 80's!

Here is my little Pebbles Flintstone and Optimus Prime. One hand made, one bought. Pretty proud of my first attempt at making a costume...I searched online how to make a tutu and got some swim fabric from work to make the one shoulder swim suit. Turned out super cute! Might try the hand made thing again next year.

Back with my Friday Five and what I'm loving this week...

1. I have a wedding this weekend and have waited until last minute to find something to wear. I think this dress from Zara may do. I'm going on my lunch break to see if the goodness that is online is in-store.

2. Everything about this room is amazing. The wall, the rug, the simple hues. Gorgeous! Totally can't find the source. I hate it when that happens. If you know, email me.

3. Umm...did you see Christine from Bijou & Boheme was part of the blogger tag sale on One Kings Lane? Congrats to her and go see the amazing edited pieces by her and many other big time bloggers..

4. Still coveting this Clare Vivier purse. Pretty Mommy's Shop has a 20% off right now and I may need to take advantage.

5. Saw this moo rug on One Kings Lane and thought it could be great in one of the kids rooms.

Can you tell I'm loving black + white, + neutral colors right now. I'm also loving One Kings Lane. I just purchased some vintage Kantha throws and could do a lot more damage but am staying in control . Wink.

The new Smallable Fall/Holiday magazine is out. They get it right when it comes to styling, merchandising, buying and the whole sha-bang.

Speaking of in the first image "back to school". Is anyone else feeling crazier with the scheduling, shuffling, sports, etc.? I'm having a hard time keeping it all straight. I think I'm going mad and so does my husband.

...I started this blog. I think my real one-year anniversary was last week but I totally forgot amongst my crazy work and home life last week. I have loved every moment of blogging this last year. I want to thank all of you for being part of Live Love Small. You make me want to come back and share a little inspiration every week (even though I'm not so consistent all of the time) ;). I love your comments, your support, the friendships and the opportunities. THANK YOU!

If you are still reading, which I hope you are, life is sometimes too full and I can't be here everyday but I will be back soon as I have some posts almost ready and will get on it this week. I might even have my first giveaway so be on the look out!
