Big forward has finally agreed to join the Hammers. The entire cost of the deal to bring Liverpool front man Andy Carroll to Upton Park this summer will end up setting back West Ham United a whopping £55 million, according to reports in the Sun. The giant England international finally agreed to put pen to paper on a six-year contract with the Hammers on Tuesday, with the 24-year-old set to earn £100,000 a week over the duration of the deal, which works out at £36m for the forward. Meanwhile, Liverpool will get back £16m, which could rise to as much as £19m depending on add ons, for the player that they bought from Newcastle United for a club-record fee of £35m in Jan 2011.
