<description>Open thread: fans are marching to the Premier League headquarters in protest, but would you vacate your seat?A group of football supporters led by the Spirit of Shankly fangroup are marching to the Premier League headquarters in London on Wednesday afternoon to protest about the rising price of matchday tickets. These fans are walking from Regents Park to Gloucester Place at 2pm as they believe that attending football matches is too important an experience to give up.Bill Shankly's quote about the game being "much more important" than life and death seems more appropriate than ever. The fans a...&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

<title>England attacker to cost West Ham United £55m</title>
<link>http://www.liverpoolfcnews.net/england-attacker-to-cost-west-ham-united-55m/</link>
<description>Big forward has finally agreed to join the Hammers.
The entire cost of the deal to bring Liverpool front man Andy Carroll to Upton Park this summer will end up setting back West Ham United a whopping £55 million, according to reports in the Sun.
The giant England international finally agreed to put pen to paper on a six-year contract with the Hammers on Tuesday, with the 24-year-old set to earn £100,000 a week over the duration of the deal, which works out at £36m for the forward.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will get back £16m, which could rise to as much as £19m depending on add ons, for the player that they bought from Newcastle United for a club-record fee of £35m in Jan 2011.
The East End club are said to be delighted to have finally got their man after weeks of protracted negotiations, especially after the impact that Carroll made in the capi...&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

<link>http://www.liverpoolfcnews.net/liverpool-schedule-2013-14-list-of-fixtures-and-early-analysis/</link>
<description>Liverpool finished a distant seventh in Brendan Rodgers' first season leading the storied Premier League club. The failure to qualify for any European competitions means there will be increased importance on EPL play for the Reds next season. The league released the schedule (via ESPN) for the campaign, giving Liverpool and their supporters an early look at the 38-match road they will travel starting in August.The squad probably can't wait for the chance to put last season in the rear-view mirror, so let's take a look at the challenges they'll face as they strive to improve in 2013-14.

<title>Fabio Borini: How Brendan Rodgers Can Get The Best Out of Him Next Season</title>
<link>http://www.liverpoolfcnews.net/fabio-borini-how-brendan-rodgers-can-get-the-best-out-of-him-next-season/</link>
<description>For once this summer, a Liverpool forward was in the headlines and Reds fans didn&amp;amp;rsquo;t have to wince when they picked up a newspaper or clicked on a website. While Luis Suarez&amp;amp;rsquo;s desire for a move away from Anfield continues to dominate column inches and web pages, Fabio Borini was able to provide a welcome distraction on Saturday evening. Borini&amp;amp;rsquo;s goal 11 minutes from the end of his Italy side&amp;amp;rsquo;s European Under-21 Championships semi-final against the Netherlands was a timely reminder that, whilst Suarez stories may sell, there are still other characters worth mentioning at Liverpool. <title>(Video) Amazing goals and skills from likely new Liverpool signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan</title>
<link>http://www.liverpoolfcnews.net/video-amazing-goals-and-skills-from-likely-new-liverpool-signing-henrikh-mkhitaryan/</link>
<description>What Reds fans can look forward to next season.

A deal for Liverpool to bring Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Anfield for £23m seems as good as done since the Armenian was tweeted signing a Reds shirt.
Yet there is little known of the 24-year-old outside of Eastern Europe, despite an impressive 2012/13 campaign that saw the Shakhtar player finish as the top scorer in Ukraine with 25 league goals in 29 games, along with 10 assists.
Mkhitaryan also managed two further strikes in the Champions League as the Ukrainian champions made the last 16 and if the hype is to be believed then the midfielder will be quite the coup for Liverpool.
But don&amp;amp;#8217;t just take out word for it, here at fanatix we thought we&amp;amp;#8217;d better show fans in England what they can look forward to from the Armenia international.
