I love locations that offer so much. The Long residence on Signal Mountain, TN has just about everything…a yellow field, a white horse, a pond with a rowboat, huge rocks, two dogs and a very fun couple. Life is good.

Aida contacted us and said she wanted some pictures with her horse and dogs and, oh yes, her fiancee, Allan. We were more than happy to revisit the Long’s amazing Signal Mountain home and meet with this wonderful couple. It was a really, really fun afternoon. Here is a slideshow and some of our favorites from the session.

I love photography and photographing engaged couples. It is especially fun when I have known the bride for several years. She is a lovely young lady and we love her family, too!

Natalie and Brad met while in high school at Chattanooga Christian and began dating their senior year. The dating became a courtship and the courtship became a wedding proposal – all in God’s time. It is a beautiful story of the Lord’s care and providence and I know the answer to a lot of prayers. We wish you all the best, Natalie and Brad!

This was a very enjoyable trip to Signal Mountain, TN to photograph Mchaney Talbert. She is 10 months old and this is not her first photo session. In fact, she is very comfortable in front of the camera. I might add that she enjoyed Poppy’s imitation of Donald Duck as did her big brother, Trace.

Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga – Distinguished Service Award 2012 – Chuck Zeiser

This was a real privilege for me to photograph the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga event in which they honored Chuck Zeiser as their 2012 recepient of the Distinguished Service Award. This award, according to the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga website, is for “outstanding community leadership.” I hope you will check out the link and read about Mr. Zeiser. He is truly an inspiration and example to all.

I love meeting people and getting to know them. The added pleasure is that I am asked to photograph them.

Jennifer and Bruce are new clients and a delightful couple. I really enjoyed our time together and was interested to hear some of their story. They told of how they met and a little about what they do but I was especially interested in Bruce’s writing career. I love to read so when Bruce said he was working at writing two books, it caught my attention. Perhaps when he finishes his books I’ll have another author to follow.

We were so excited to hear from Scott and Christina (former bride and groom) and the announcement that Sophie Grace had been born. What a privilege to get to photograph their newborn baby girl. I loved seeing them in their beautiful home and introducing their little darling girl to us. She is so pretty. What a happy, joyful time for us. Carolyn mentioned that she and Jackie haven’t had their picture taken together for about fourteen years. We agreed it was time.
