Nice post! I’m on the mac laptop side, and I really hate regular pc’s small and bevelled touchpads. I simply can’t use them!

And as a Windows Mobile user, I really hate that bevel that makes the iPhone (or the new HTC devices)’s design.

Can also do that with my email service, in a much more convenient and pleasant way, plus don’t see any of the major email providers vanishing anytime soon(not that via will).

As for the rest, street groceries being able to tap into ViaCTT: highly doubt that, this is a service for big companies, consider that smaller businesses don’t even like to pay ATM fees. Also, I believe the invoices I have on my email are also financially and legally valid.

I’d like to see CTT doing a clone of Scribd’s Document Scanning http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-9907140-2.html , lots of loose ends on that idea, but at least I wouldn’t have to scan al the paper mail I get(?2C), such a waste, if they hurry it may be possible to use that “for the environment” marketing thingy.

The idea isn’t bad… you have to see this as a coin with two sides…

The first one it’s yours as a user… to organize and “archive” all your bills in one place. But the Nazaré’s thoughts (and million) was on the other side. The side of the shopkeepers and providers that this way have the “CTT STAMP” of delivered without even investing on “expensive B2B” digital billing solution.

Even your grocery on the corner of your street can use this service as long as it has a computer (Winrest for instance) and cutepdf (or a mac with the great “invoice” software from Portuguese “empty factory” for invoice printing)…
By establishing this connection via CTT, the shopkeeper rests assured that the invoice is delivered to you, and has “finantial and legal” value.

This is the main question… and the business model of ViaCTT

Nice article. As an exited user – the one who wrote about the service on friendfeed – I have to tell you two things tho:
1) I don’t think I’ll be making good deeds just to earn points, the thing with this is that it turns making good deeds a funnier experience:
2) You don’t have to waste any money on the service. I’m using the service, using the deck of cards they gave me. I believe that they might, in the future, sell the cards (or t-shirts, or something else) in a way to fund their project. I don’t think I’ll turn out to be a paying user, unless they keep surprising me with a good service – which until now they’re succeeding.

Resolvi confirmar com o senhor da bilheteira quando fui apanhar o comboio (sim, consegui chegar à estação com tempo, iupi!), e fui informada de que o desconto de Cartão Jovem só se aplica a viagens de mais de 100km “ou que sejam compradas como tal, às vezes pode sair mais económico”.
As aspas indicam mesmo a citação do senhor que vende bilhetes, trabalha para a CP e percebe perfeitamente que se engane o sistema para poupar dinheiro nice, no?
