Recently Miley Cyrus was seen in a pair of Custom Siwy Skinny Jeans. Customized by her stylist, Simone Harouche, these paint splattered and shredded Siwy skinnies are some of the most of the minute jeans out there. I love destroyed denim and have heard that Siwy makes some great fitting pairs. Simone Harouche did a great job with this pair.

With the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 Ready to Wear Collection, Jacobs gave his spring fashions a completely different twist than most. His take on his collection? “It’s not such an individual expression. I loved how unique the Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2010 Ready To Wear collection was. It reminded me of a mix of the 60’s hippie era and the 70’s disco glam fashions. By using lightweight fabrics and floaty styles, the pieces from this collection are all flattering on a variety of body shapes. Mixing in lots of metallics and bold colors added to the 70’s flair of it all.

I recently came across a great fashion spread from the April 2009 issue of Wallpaper Magazine called Cutting Edge. One cult denim brand that will never go out of style are J Brand jeans. Known for producing up to date but not too trendy styles, a pair of these jeans will last you for years. Recently Stephanie Pratt was seen out in the J Brand 12″ Pencil Leg Ripped Tie Dye Skinny Jeans in Thrasher. I love how subtle the tie dye pattern of these jeans is. It gives them a great texture without being overly trendy or too bold.

Prps jeans are made from high quality Japanese denim that is woven on vintage Levi’s looms. This gives them the quality, comfort, and style that they have become known for.

Personally, I love that they aren’t afraid to be daring and try new things. Way too many high end denim brands stick to the best sellers and basics. While this is great because we all have pairs we all buy the classics time and time again, it’s also very nice to see a high end denim brand taking risks.

These jeans may be stylish, but aren’t right for a job search.

In all honesty, I really don’t think that my love of Zac Posen’s work can really be expressed. He has this amazing gift to mix and match among multiple era’s and styles to create something amazing. The Zac Posen Spring 2010 Ready To Wear is no exception. The Spring collection is definitely a little more youthful and playful than his past collections. However, it still contains all the classic Posen elements that we have come to love and expect in his work.

I first mentioned this mascara in a Things I Love Right Now post back in December. I’ve been using Estée Lauder TurboLash Mascara for nearly two months now and my feelings towards it have not changed. I have a lot of issues finding my ideal mascara because I’m really demanding. I have lots of long but fine lashes. I don’t need something that will add length, but I want something that will add volume and coat every single lash. What I loved the most about this vibrating mascara is that it gave me everything I want from a mascara. Plus, it didn’t clump, flake, or smear. For extra amazing lashes, wiggle the vibrating wand at the base of your lashes and very slowly apply mascara to the entire length of your lashes. One coat applied like that looks the same as several coats of other mascaras.

If you’re looking for other great volumizing mascaras on a drugstore price, I love CoverGirl LashBlast (who doesn’t?!) and L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara. The both give you great volume for the price.
