Continuing with the Perfect Packing posts I have another collection of bottles for you, this time from one or if not the biggest brand in the world, you guessed it Coca Cola!! From the time they started producing limited edition aluminium bottles some of the designs have been incredible, which in turn have turned these designer bottles into collectors items, with people trying to get their hands on all of these bottles hoping to get a complete collection.

These examples below show how creatively Coca Cola approach their branding and that is why they are in the position they are when it come to global brands. Enjoy and share the post if you do. Lessons to be learnt from a logo redesign

This is a very interesting article from the BBC website on the lessons GAP learnt from their recent logo redesign, this exercise was a major backfire on GAP and was quickly reversed, a good lesson learnt I think!! Taking a strong global brand and redesigning or “updating” the identity of it can be tricky and can go horribly wrong as GAP learnt, customers described their new logo with words like cheap, tacky & ordinary, words this brand certainly did not want to hear.
