Our solution enables businesses to increase productivity, improve internal communication, establish a solid connection between users and data flow, and reduce operational costs.”

“The design concept its based on the arrows as symbols of connection and communication, a powerful way to communicate with no words. You can see different arrows in the negative space between the letters “c” and “o”. I tried to intersect the symbol with the word “concurio” in a way that maintains its legibility and of course, elegance and simplicity.” See in use here.

“Caffeine Fish LLC is an iPhone software development company. They develop their own applications and offer hourly development contracting. My concept was to create a simple, memorable logo that reflects the brand relevance. In my design that I tried to combine the fish in the form of a coffee cup, with the intention that it was simple and not too busy when viewed. The smoke of the coffee looks like the letters C and F which is the Caffein Fish initials. ” Unused proposal.

Atlantic Art Glass – Small, husband + wife artist team glass blowing studio. In business 10 years without a formal logo design. They produce primarily one of a kind functional and decorative blown glass pieces as well as an extensive line of jewelry made from blown glass beads. Blowing glass requires an artist to constantly spin the blow pipe while working on a piece. The logo captures this spinning motion in each of the ellipse shapes. All blown glass pieces regardless of the end result begin as oval shaped molten glass. The ellipses in the logo refer to this important process related form as well as referencing the wide variety of beads produced by these artists. Color is of primary concern to both of the artist/owners of the business and needed to be reflected in the design.

There are currently 200 plus athletes who attend including many D1 college QBs. The client wanted something that resembled the movie Top Gun’s logo. With the name being TopFlight and the tag line “tear the air”, it got me thinking of fighter pilots and I wanted to make something that looked like a pilot would wear on his flight suit. The wings were a natural choice and formed perfectly to the TF symbol. The colors represent action, respect, speed, and rebellion. A good mark for a Hero brand.”

This mark is used for a branding and marketing firm specializing in premium branding, often times the luxury sector. We wanted a mark that had timeless elements. Something simple that could be pictured on a luxury handbag, automobile, watch, etc. Although we don’t sell luxury products, we do market them and this approach has been quite effective for us. Lastly, our approach to branding and marketing is bold so we prefer a bold black and white color palette.

Cogent is a web strategy firm. They pair psychology with technology to provide insight and develop helpful strategies for organizations online. In many ways they are doing something that most web firms only devote a fraction of effort to. Yet the strategy is so essential for success.

The logo starts with the most basic way to help Cogent tell their story. We chose to start with a classic yet not common fable that illustrates strategy making in a simple way. We chose the Crow and the Pitcher. The elements fit the personality of the company and allow it to feel more interesting than web strategy sounds.

The logo was to be clean-looking yet bold, and I wanted to convey Figure Nine’s association with number-crunching without being too blatant. Using a “9″ as the g worked out well, and offsetting it in a bolder red makes it stand out so the viewer has to look twice.”

“The logo is for the Serbian sho-manufacturer Boreli. I won the competition for the logo in 2000. It has been in use ever since, but the client was not ready to collaborate on the application. Instead, the director gave his son (“who knows Photoshop”) to apply the logo and he successfully butchered my work into unrecognizability.

Besides the obvious (the “B” that resembles a shoe), the logo was intended to update the brand’s image while maintaining certain continuity with its precursors. The thick blue lettering referred to the logo of Borovo (http://www.borovo.hr/), from which Boreli splintered after the collapse of Yugoslavia; Borovo, in turn, succeeded the famous Bata company (http://www.bata.com/) after the communist regime nationalized the local Bata factories in 1945.”
