Have you ever imagined such beautiful weather in winter? Last weekend I had a short trip to Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire which was my first time here at the Pitstone Windmill. This is one of the oldest surviving mills in Britain dating from 1627. A freak storm left it badly damaged in the early 1900s. It was later donated to the National Trust and restored by a team of local volunteers. I hope you like the view, the weather really was amazing! Let the pictures talk.

A lot more trips are coming this year. Sometimes a getaway from London makes me feel really good.

‘I Heart Faces‘ ROCKS! Not only because the website provides incredibly useful tips for photography, but because of its friendly community as well. I have been a fan of the team for some time now, but didn’t really follow these challenges week by week. Partly because I’m new to portrait photography. This week’s challenge made a question pop up in my mind, why not enter this fun again?! I was sitting at my desk going through the archives to decide which ONE to select. I’ve never thought how hard it is to pick only one! There are so many photos that are so close to my heart! And there is always a reason – or two – why I like this one or the other one more. Each and every one of them has their unique story to tell. Here you can see my submission for the ‘Best Face Photo from 2011′. It’s been quite long since I shared any photos from London, so now here you are. The weather is getting a bit chilly outside but I couldn’t resist…grabbed my tripod and headed to the city. Long exposure images are definitely out of my comfort zone, there are still so many things (and places) to discover…till then enjoy a few photos of the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament with Big Ben. And don’t forget to check London Eye from a different angle and some other favorite images taken in London.

Hello my dears! My series with the 4 amigas has come to an end today. It’s time to meet Szilvi now. She already appeared on my blog about a year ago with her sister. You can check them out here. This time we had an even bigger fun together! The balloon and the red shoes were a must. 

It was really funny to try new poses…in high heels and tight skinny jeans it was not that easy.

Hello happy people! Let me share with you the second part of my fashion series with the 4 amigas. If you follow my blog, you have already met the beautiful Vivi and her sister, Szilvi here. The location is suburbia and an abandoned railway station. Since Vivi is a make-up artist, she was very excited and happy to help the girls get ready for the shoot. I really thought my gear needs a lot of place, a big camera bag and a huge car…but her make-up kit is EVEN BIGGER! 

Here comes my personal favorite in a new outfit. Is there something mysterious in her eyes…? Or only the scarf…?

Voilà! Here we go! Time to meet the lovely Zita! She’s one of the 4 amigas I photographed in Budapest early September. 4 girls, awesome weather, amazing outfits and LOTS of fun – this is how I could describe our day. The trunk was full of clothes and props again. Zita totally blew me away and looks flawless! The location was out of the city this time, along a smaller stream in suburbia.

We found an abandoned railway station…full of graffiti and served as a great location for the next few photos. The trains were in operation there though, with people staring out of the windows, as if we had been shooting for a magazine cover.

And finally I’m sharing with you a photo of all the four girls. More group photos to come soon. Stay tuned! 

Zita, thank you so much again for this amazing day!

I like many things about Budapest (like the Danube crossing the city, the bridges, the lights at night along the river…), but my favorite place is the Margaret Island right in the downtown. There are no huge skyscrapers, or 13 underground lines (like in London), but I love how this little island and the Danube makes the city so attractive to me. The amount of green area is incredibly big, and filled with so many people! It’s so naturally beautiful, looks like heaven for me. And it also proved to be the perfect setting for Adri & Laci’s sweet relationship. Adri and I used to rent a flat together when we attended the uni, prepared late night cookies and did so many awesome things together. I miss you so much! A few months ago I got a nice letter from her, asking me to photograph at their wedding. The feeling that I felt in my heart was something I can’t really describe. There is nothing more beautiful in the world than capturing their wedding, and give them something that will last for a lifetime.

The first picture was taken at a big fountain. And do you know what else is amazing? The music that is being played when the fountain is in action!

As we walked through the park, we realized it’s been so long since we didn’t eat a really sticky candy-floss. So why not now? 

Another thing I’d like to share with you is that Adri and Laci LOVE good wine and good food! Whenever I visited them, I was totally amazed (and stuffed) by the dinner they prepared and filled it with their heart. So this mini e-session is partly a wine-themed one. 

Thank you so much for letting me into your life! I had such a blast time with you and can’t wait for your big day!

Now it’s time to meet Dindi who graciously modeled for me on this lovely summer day! It’s been about two weeks since I was in Budapest and I still have so many images to share with you.  This time the location was Margaret Island, my favorite island in the capital. Oh how much I like this place…! Beautiful parks, lots of green, gorgeous fountains, medieval ruins, a zoo, sticky pink candy-floss, lovely weather and happy people. It’s the best hideaway from the hectic downtown.

A few words about Dindi…We first met when she visited me in London a few months ago. We had a great time at the beach and also took some windy photos. She loves being photographed and was so much in love with her pictures that we decided to take some more this summer. She has such a vibrant and open personality. We mainly focused on headshots and had an amazing time out there.
