Klimt1918, autorii unui melanj Indie/Alternative/Post Rock ce nu putea veni decat din Italia, se intorc in aceasta toamna in tara noastra la invitatia Flowing Mist.

Dupa recitalul de anul trecut in cadrul Stufstock 5 si la doar 3 luni de la lansarea noului album “Just In Case We’ll Never Meet Again”, Marco, Paolo, Davide si Francesco fac prima lor vizita in Transilvania pentru concertul de sambata, 11 Octombrie. Irish & Music Pub din Cluj Napoca va gazdui evenimentul iar Luna Amara, Twisted Cables si Alternative Quartet sunt cele trei trupe invitate sa completeze seara.

Concertul va incepe la ora 19:00, va dura pana spre miezul noptii si va fi urmat de un after party la care vor participa si membrii trupelor.

Influentele celor de la Klimt1918 s-au schimbat de la album la album variind de la Katatonia, Anathema, The Cure la U2, Dredg, Interpol, Dandy Warhols sau chiar Sigur Ros. Dupa un EP ancorat in metalul anilor 90, albumul lor de debut, “Undressed Momento”, a deschis trecerea spre New Wave si Alternative in timp ce “Dopoguerra” si “Just In Case…” penduleaza intre Post-Rock si Indie, pastrand insa accente din vechile stiluri.

Va astept cu mic cu mare…

Astazi iese noul album Klimt1918, intitulat “Just in Case We’ll Never Meet Again”. Cu toate ca e  mai shoegaze decat primele 2, albumul pastreaza delicatesele cu care ne-au obisnuit italienii. Nu lipseste engleza stalcita, accentul oarecum copilaresc al lui Marco, versurile despre adolescenta, si o atmosfera generala care duce instant cu gandul la Italia. Printre piese gasesc una care parca mi-a fost dedicata (ma rog, mie si la 70% din prieteni) pe numele ei The Graduate… Puteti asculta pe myspace cateva melodii

Azi se implinesc 10 ani de la lansarea Adore-ului…

Ciudat ca s-au nimerit doua piese Ulver si Diary of Dreams din aproape 11k cate am bagat in playlist…
Anyway, povestea merge mai departe la Maria ( sa aiba o surpriza cand ajunge acasa din Fire), Exty, Mike, Alin si maestrul Biro.

Mel Kadel e o artista foarte probabil americana (dar nu bag mana in foc) ce lucreaza ilustratie. Destul de simplute tehnic, fara multa culoare, fara multe inflorituri, imaginile ei m-au fermecat prin ideile tragi-comice.

In ultima vreme parca ma intereseaza tot mai putin design-ul, ma tot dau pe site-uri de artisti; cine stie, poate in curand o sa incep sa si desenez.

De afisu asta is chiar mandru si va garantez ca nu degeaba m-am chinuit sa iasa bine; Sear Bliss e o trupa excelenta, i-am vazut in vara si cu toata ca eram terminat dupa Satyricon am ramas ferm pe metereze pentru grupul maghiar. Trombonul e un instrument exotic pentru black metal, si totodata un element de care cei de la Sear Bliss se folosesc foarte inteligent.
