Issue on Bidayuh Girl become the drug mule.

This issue was attract my attention especially when it was published in Metro Harian titled “ Tangani kes wanita Bidayuh diperangkap sendiket dadah” on 27 January 2012. I was thinking what the actual causes for these cases. But the thing came to my head are:

1 Money
2 Appearance
3 Strong word
4 Love
5 Easy to be fooled (maybe)

But then when I think back and question back why, why and why then I look back at my community because I’m a part of Bidayuh too. Then I realize, some of my community when we give a talk about awareness, advice etc they always advice us back, denied and said mind of your business. But if the outsiders came to our kampong and said this and that they totally agree and believe every single word came out from their mouth without thinking who and what are their agendas. That is the common things happen to my people.

When something bad happen then they will look for us and ask for help. Then start to blame each other because we don’t look for each other… bla…bla…bla…

But not all Bidayuh’s are like that. Hopefully the community got the massage and there will be no cases in the future.

Last but not least, technology and internet can be your best friend and yet also can be your worst enemy. Please bare in mind that what I post above might be right and might be wrong so be advice to post a comment if you agree or not agree with my statement. Thank You.

Facebook + girl = drug trafficking

Dear readers,

I was shock to hear that most of the people in my community easily blame the Facebook as the trigger to the rising case using the local girl from Sarawak become the victims of international drug trafficking. As far as I know that the social media IS NOT the cause of the\is case but the COMMUNITY itself. You must wondering why I said like that.

This is my reason why I said earlier. First of all, it all about the MONEY and yet the internet is border less. So every one can used it. Without anyone who control it or gatekeeper so the information can be true or false. Most of the time people or the community nowadays was burden by the global economic down turn... Every person in the world fell the pressure or stress about the rising of living cost. Back to old ages where money is not the case but now you can see money is the case. So who responsible to answer when the money become the issue?

People killing and dying? who care as long as my pocket full with money. This is what happen to our community. They don't think about others as long as they can gain such money in many ways. So the faster way to get money easily was making such scam. A long time ago the scammer go down to the field, meet the people, promise this and that and pretend they are the good presenter. But who knows after get the money they just disappear. But after the incident what happen to the COMMUNITY? They just pretend it is not happened and ignored the case. But when it is happened again, the community just blame the authority because they not alert about incident. In the word, the scammer always free to do their job without being caught.

Back to the story about the drug trafficking. What they do is just turn the new way to get new victims. Again the COMMUNITY itself didn't aware about their surrounding. They just pretend nothing happened and live happily with the 4 wall. That's is what happen to those girl from Sarawak who become the victims of international drug trafficking. Actually every second, every minute the news about the new trend of this drug dealer using media as the new method if we look the PRO about the social media but what they do? Again pretend nothing happened as if the real life is like the fairy tale story in the novel of the in the movies... "happily ever after".

Last but not least, congratulation to the COMMUNITY because I, you and everyone let THEM become the victims.

Dear readers,

I always thinking that anything we upload to the internet is permanent or can be deleted (temporary). For all this while I can see most of the youngsters like to post or upload picture with or without the person permission. I don't think they know about censorship or ethic or sensitive issue that shouldn't be revealed to the public.
What they know is to post or upload without thinking the consequences. Actually I'm not blame the internet or any social media or website but without any guidelines (the freedom of internet) that makes the youngster do what they want to do...

For the conclusion: The World Wide Web can be good and also can give bad influence. It is depend on how the users used the information.

Dear readers,

Yesterday I was excited to pay my mobile broadband bill at Maxis Centre in the afternoon during the lunch break. The best thing is that I was so confident the route that I take was the right one and I very sure of it which is the shoplot near the bridge at Satok. I was so confident to go there because the Maxis, Celcom and Digi usually near to each other.

But, the time I reach there I only see Celcom Centre standing at the corner of the shoplot. I was confused and wondering whether it was relocated to the other place. If I'm not mistaken I check the area 3 times until I try my best go ahead to Petra Jaya... On the way to Petra Jaya, suddenly I was thinking that why I'm not try using my GPS. Almost 10 minute later, the result come out and I was shock that the location was at the new building next to the Wisma Satok. Haha... from a 15 minute drive from 10 Mile Kota Padawan to the destination become a 1 hour of journey plus another 15 minute to drove back to 10 Mile... What a waste of time...

Haha... so the moral of the study, I you not sure about the place that you want to visit, my suggestion was try using alternative gadget such as cellphone GPS or GOOGLE Map for your refference before you take the journey.

My Maxis Broadband

Dear readers,

I just purchase my new Maxis Broadband yesterday at M10 commercial center. This young sales person make me feel awkward. I think they don't know the different of the speed and the download and also the quota. But I don't blame them because they already try their best selling the product. At least they try to convince the new customer . So I already complete my collection for the biggest telecommunication in Malaysia where I have Celcom and Digi for my phone and Maxis for my internet.

Before I change to Maxis Broadband, I used Digi Internet prepaid. The services was quite amazing for me because I can online for RM2 per day. But the limit for 100mb per day make me feel like I have to limit enjoyment surfing the internet. Besides that the place where I stay at Bt. 9 and my workplace at Bt. 10 has no 3G connection. So the line quite slow and sometime I got frustrated for waiting for so long.

The reason I used Maxis is because I'm tired of topup or reload my account to continue using the services. So I change my mind to used billing payment so that I can surfing freely. Before that I was thinking using the Digi postpaid broadband but I think back I already have Digi for my phone so I take Maxis as my new experience using the service provider.

And then... Based on my experience surfing the internet using the Digi Prepaid and Maxis Broadband plan are quite the same. It's depend on the connection that available in the area and the number of people using it. But then the different is that my per day limit was not the issue anymore... haha. << bad comparison between the prepaid and postpaid plan... Ooopss...

I hope sooner or later Maxis upgrade their 3G to my kampung as well at Kampung Pueh, Sematan here.

Dear readers,

Today I learned about bad things comes first and good thing always comes last.

My subject for today observation was based on my daily interaction in the internet social networking (i used to facebooking everyday... hehe :) cheers). Everyday my friends post their update and saying this and that. The common update they will post is the bad things. Sometimes they continue update the bad things for a long time period. I can assume that some of my friends are sad and crying when they update their post based on their story. What a bad day...

After following them, in the end the good thing came to their life. At this time they are more cheerful and have colour in their lives. This is what I believe that when the bad thing happened to them, sooner or later the good things will cherish their life.

Congratulation to those who manage to overcome their darkness day of life because the sunshine will arise in no the matter of time. As long as we believe "nothing is impossible", pray to the God and with the determine to accept the failure in life, the nature will spoken and show the bright path to the better future.

So for the conclusion:I
The worst things happen to us today, the best we will be come for the future.

P/s: DO NOT afraid to make a mistake because from the mistake we will become a great person as long as DO NOT repeat the same mistake.

Lesson no. 1

Dear readers,

Today is my 1st day working during the Malaysia Public Holiday at the Kota Sentosa's Public Library. I learn a lot of thing here where I can observe the behavior of people and also read book about problem solving in groups by Mike Robson.

For today's observation, I was pleased to see a mother bring their young children to the library to read books and do their homework. I guess that their attention is to teach their children to be at the library to spend their times to read books. Besides that, library also a best place to concentrate in doing some homework because it is calm and less disruption. More over, from today's observation also I learn that children like to be rewarded every time they finished their homework and at the same time will motivate them to do the same thing everyday. So in my conclusion that, as a normal human being, we will be motivated each times we being rewarded by something that we already wish for.

For today's reading, I was excited to read the book titled "PROBLEM SOLVING IN GROUPS" by Mike Robson. The book was so good to read and gain some knowledge in it. The book teach us how to solve problem if it happen and tips to handle it. There so me quote I like to share from the book which is "we remember 10% of what we hear, 50% of what we see, and 80% of what we do". From my opinion, the statement also can be used for any communication process because there is no 100% the same message from the source especially if it being pass down more than one party. This is because the message that what we receive always being disturb by something or what it is called "noise". Sometimes when passing down the message to someone, we like to add new information to make the story more pleasant to hear. So moral of the story "Do not make early judgement if you not sure about what you hear", "be natural", and "always conform the message from the 1st party".

ZTE MF627 on ubuntu 9.10

I've been 3 days doing research and "how's to" to make my broadband ZTE MF627 working with ubuntu 9.10 version. In the end, my effort toward making the dream come true (MF627 working with Ubuntu 9.10) are worth it. Finally I can take a deep breath and enjoy surfing...

This is the 5 step instruction that I practice.

1. Add the repos via console

sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/liamgh/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo echo "deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/liamgh/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list

2. Then import the public key

sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 187f34b24a23a1ac

3. then update the current repo configurations and install the package

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install zte-mf627-switch

4. Restart the system to properly check if automatically detects the modem, even in NetworkManager.

5. Done.

Dear readers,

I found that some of the so called active blogger tend to write gossip or sensitive issue in their blog. Some of the blogger are not thinking twice before write up in their blog and might hurt other people feeling. What they know is to get more traffic to their blog. So where is the ethical in the blog?

Me? I can say I'm still amateur in the blogger industry. Apart from that I still in the learning proses to understand what of the need to become a well-known blogger. Well you know to become a blogger is not an easy task. You know why? Because you need to frequently update your content in order to full fill your followers need.

The content of the blog also need to study properly so that it is understandable by the niche that you already pick it up as your potential readers. But for my case, I make my blog as an e-diary. I write what I want and post what is relevant and let the readers choice to choose to read it up.

The blog also need to well organized. This is because the structure of the blog helps the eyes of the readers to read and search the content in the blog. Too interactive will slow the loading but too simple will make the blog look dull. As I am an amateur blogger, I learn from it from the professional blogger.

Last but not least, do some research before making your own blog. This will helps you to guide all the process to become a well-known blogger. That's all from me... Thank you for your time.

Have you ever heard DIGI EASY? I bet you already heard about it. It is in the market for a long time already. But I just used the new plan from DIGI last week for my own good. Haha
Hemm... The story began with my pocket money. I don't have money to topup everyday just to make a call yet I like to call especially to my girlfriend and she also like to call me regularly. And her problem also like mine. So we decide to change the new plan and buy the new DIGI EASY simcard.

At first, I'm not interested to bought new simcard because I already has the DIGI simcard with ordinary plan. But due to insufficient fund, I take the risk to bought the new simcard.

I took me for a long time to think the pro and cont of buying the new simcard. I don't some research reading to the comment the people post in the internet and also at the DIGI website. Finally after a deep thinking, me and my girlfriend decide to bought the new DIGI EASY simcard.

The decision that I made is due to the situation not by the coincident. I said that because I'm not a guy that like to change simcard all the time. Besides that, I need to aware of being the victims of the "plan" which we are not aware of such as hidden chargers etc.

But with DIGI EASY I like to say that I'm really satisfied with the services and hope that the plan will stay as it was.

This picture was taken on the Sunday evening when I go around my kampung with my Modenas GT128.
While I'm enjoying the nice and calm evening, I spot a at one direction that was amazed me. So I quickly took my Nokia 5800 Express Music mobile phone and shoot the scenery.

Nothing special actually but I like to share with the blog walking about my finding...

By the way, The picture look blur because I add the watermark at the picture. The picture was taken by the mobile phone camera so it was not as good as DSLR... I wish I had that DSLR... But I look at the market the DSLR quite expensive...

Moral of the story... just used what is already have... hahaha

18th May 2010 is the day I got my degree scroll at UiTM Shah Alam. I feel so relief after two years of reading, studying, making an assignment and sit for a test and finally it over now.
But it is not over for me if I want to further my studies...

Well as I'm a new degree leavers, I still searching for a permanent work perhaps. Prefer government rather than private sectors. If not a part-time job is batter then nothing right. By the way I still like to study but my barrier is money... So I hope that I can get a job, earn a money, get saving and go for study to get masters.

By the way, I still thinking how am I going to pay my PTPTN if I don't get a job soon? Haiya... don't want to be one of the blacklisted... huhu

So that all my update. Miss my collage life. Currently Jobless...

Can't wait for Gawai this coming 1st of Jun. So see what happen during this Gawai. I heard that the JKKK plan a lot of interesting activities

DIGI - Cradit balance

Today I want to share a story about my experience with DIGI network ( Always Be The Smarter Choice).

Last night, I used my few ringgit balance credit left to call my gf because for me digi give more ringgit value when calling. So I use it without thingking this would be happen to me.

Ok the story begin with the prepaid plan, few ringgit cradit belance, calling and subcribe RM15 per week internet broadband in 1 sim card. After a while I'm calling my gf, I heard a 'bib - bib' sound which I'm asume I already used my last few credit to the limit. So I thought it would be 1 or 10 sen credit balance left. But before I hang up I'm manage to tell my gf that I heard the warning sound and I can say with we talking for a long time period for a few ringgit (20 minute estimate time).

As what I don't expect is after that. I meant my credit balance turn 0. But before I realize my credit balance turn 0, I want to go for online as I used to spand my time. But I can't go online and I try for many time until I got frustrated. So I thought it would be a network problem. But I look at the signal is full bar. So I told myself 'what is happen now?'. Then I just leave it and see what happen next day which is today.

Early in the morning, I try to online. But same as yesterday, I still cannot go for online. Then I try to look at the internet status which I usually dail *128#. Then I realize the problem. The message popup said that my credit balance already 0 and I can't used their services.
From this situation make me to carefully used my fem credit balance for good. Huhu...

The moral of the story:
Do not let your credit balance turn 0 or you cannot used your DIGI simcard. It still useless eventhough the internet broadband you subcribe already cut from the credit.

At last the 10th DUN Sarawak election was finally over. As usual the BN - 55, DAP - 12, PKR - 3 and Bebas - 1.

During the campaign period, I can say everyday each party organisad their own programme. This is their time to tell and show their agenda to attract voters attention. As usual many posters and banner coming up like mushroom after the rain show this and that with the attractive wording and graphic.

But after the campaign end, everything back to normal. I really miss the everyday event during the campaign week. At least you have something to do day and night.

I hope that after this all of them that had being choosen do all the thing that they promises to the voters.

Tsunami and 8.9 magnitude hit Japan

The big news today is the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan. 8.9 magnitude had being recorded and the north east of Japan being hit by the tsunami. The tsunami wave being heading toward along the pasific sea.

So far this is the biggest earthquake in 2011. The death toll in Japan are still unknown.

Sorry for not updating my blog and let it for two months in silent. I was being post as a GSTT (Guru Sandaran Tidak Terlatih aka Unexperience teacher) at my kampong primary school. So I has no time to update my blog. So along the 2 months of silent, I was focus on teaching and gain experience as a teacher.

But, in two month in silent there are so many voices around the globe. As you concern the uprising riot at the middle east asia. Why it is happen? Why now?Why this why that and so many why... The answer only can be answered by the people itself. Maybe this is also a sign to the end of the world. It just a prediction. Maybe also because the world is old enough to stand human behavior waiting it to blow out from the preasure like the volcano... Again... Maybe...

By the way, even thought it is 2011 but my only internet connection at my kampung is still using GPRS. I wonder when I can used the 3g connection? Maybe at that time people not using 3g anymore... haha

The new Facebook Profile

Dear blogwalking,

Yesterday my GF complain that she cannot get through to my FB profile. So I wonder how come she cannot go to my page... is my page being hacked/cracked and my setting are already change? I said to my GF...

And today I check my Facebook account and everything ok. No sign of hacking/cracking. But when I go to my GF FB page than I saw the "upgrade your FB profile". No wander she said yesterday she cannot go to my profile. She already upgrade her profile.

To me the new FB profile seem like more interactive compared to the old profile. Look fun and interesting to me. I hope that the interface didn't slow down my loading page because I'm using slow broadband connection because at my kampung still using the GPRS internet connection. That is all I have here to get online. The next 30km from my kampung which is Lundu is more faster internet connection which has the 3g line.

By the way let say the FB page slow loading, can I change back to "classic" one so that I can access my account? But I think there is other FB site that can be access which is the Mobile version. The lite FB version that I found the story over that internet said that they already terminate the service... huhu...
