Hi everybody! How are you doing? It has been a while since the last post, I’ve started a new project and “Lordriger” have passed to second place in my priorities. But now it’s time to dedicate some time to the blog.

Well, has some of you know the I’ve started the blog with the intention of showing Portugal to the world, but I tried to post some nice videos to entertain my readers, so the blog is defined as an ”entertainment blog.” Why am I writing this? Just because I will start making some reviews. I believe it’s important to share my knowledge about the world of “Internet profit”.

Let’s see if I have time to write about that stuff in Lordriger.

Dear readers,

Past September I’ve started a new adventure: University. As I have lots of work to do, I'm unable to dedicate too much time on Lordriger. The classes are difficult and since the university has reputation of being very exigent, I’m having some troubles on the adaptation. Anyway, it’s Christmas and we must forget our problems right, even if only for one day. Am I right?

Well, last year I wrote a small post with a photo of the gorgeous Stacy Keibler so, this year I will leave you with the best "Jingle bell" cover:

September 27 / 2008 was the saddest day ever, the greatest goddess have married. For her I'm sure it was the happiest day of her life but I can assure you some fans had the thought: "Holy Shit! Noooooo! She can't marry! Whyyyyyyyy!!?"

Well, the lucky guy is.. let me see his name here in my notes...ahh! I found it: Ryan Reynolds. Has you can see on the photo he has a teeth problem and he is fat has hell! My theory is that Scarllet is under effect of some strong drugs, the only question is: "Who gave those drugs to her?"

I'm still searching, some day I will know the answer :DD

Just kidding.

Facts:

They Married on a natural park in Vancouver, Canada, I believe it was a nice marriage.

Anyway, I will give 5 months to this union, what's your bet?

Some of you may think: Is Gus alright? I know I haven’t been the perfect blogger in recent times, but I’m returning to the old times! When I used to write one article per day! Ok, let’s say one per 2/3 days… anyway; today I’m here to write about website hosting services.

Portuguese Olympic Heroes - Beijing

It has been a while since the last post. You know, in vacations normally I don’t have a lot of time for this and to be honest I have been a bit tired of blogging. Has you know I’m Portuguese and English isn’t my 1st language so an article isn’t properly very easy to write for me. I always do my best but sometimes I need to search some words on dictionary and I lose some time with that. Many of you are now calling me stupid: “Why don’t you use Google translator?” My first source is Google Translator but sometimes, or most of the time, Google translator makes wrong translations and for a better article I need to use my lovely “Oxford Pocket”.

I must say Google have improved their translator but sometimes I’m a bit sceptical with the translation. Here is an example: “sceptical”. I didn’t know how to write the word so I have search on Google translator. The problem is that Microsoft Office Word marks “Sceptical” has a wrong word. The correction says it should be Skeptical. Due to this I have search on the dictionary and it seems the correct is “Sceptical”. Can I use both?

Anyway, this article was just to congratulate Beijing Olympic Heroes; I’m talking about Vanessa Fernandes and Nélson Évora. These two Portuguese athletes won two medals for Portugal (Silver and Gold) and due to that they deserve an article in my blog.

Has always in Olympic Games there was space for controversial cases: Some Portuguese athletes had stupid declarations to excuse bad results, I will quote two of them:

- "In the morning I prefer my bed.” – said by Marco Fortes.

Hi everyone,

Let's see if I'm still able to write in English ^.^ it has been a while since my last post! You know, when the vacations arrives Portuguese people goes directly to the beach! yeeeehaaaa

Well, here in Portugal, since the European soccer championship has ended, the media have focused on the big issues of the country. Criminality is growing, but this time it was really concerning. In a problematic neighborhood the gypsy community started a conflict with the negro's community.

I will leave you a video where you can see what happened:

Now, some gypsy families are protesting in front of the mayor house claiming new houses because they don't fell secure in the neighborhood. I understand their position but some of them don't even pay the rent of 5 euros!!! How can they claim a new house?!

Unfortunately there are crazy people everywhere.

It's amazing what a game can do. I mean, have you seen Portuguese soccer fans supporting Portugal team? They're completely crazy!

This madness around soccer is understandable, Portugal is facing a huge economic crisis (recently we had a lots of workers strikes) so people need to find something to forget the big problems, and nothing is better than our national team. Some critic’s blame the euphoric Portuguese’s for their happiness, this doesn't make any sense, I think the critics hate soccer or they're on a depression so they need to see everyone unhappy. We could have problems to think about, but we have the right to forget them for a while!

Well, Portugal is a making a good European championship. The team has passed to quarter finals, after winning against Turkey and Czech Republic, and losing the last game Portugal against Switzerland. The stupid referee should be banned from football! He looked like a chicken, always "beeping"! Anyway, Portugal passed to quarter finals, and that's what matters.

I think Portugal will win this European, what do you think?

History class in the year 4000:

“Humans are an extraordinary race. They have a very organized system to rule their lives, and, with that rules, everyone becomes happy. There’s food for everyone, land with no end and crime only exists in your video games.

In the past humans started wars, killed each other instead of thinking in more serious problems like Global warming. If they thought about that, today we could be in earth instead of Mars…

- Professor, why did they fight?

- Well, they were crazy. Some humans ruled the world and wanted to earn an amazing amount of money with their privileged position, so they started wars. In today days a war is unthinkable because everyone has the same rights and duties.

- But, why people listened to one person?

- We don’t know yet. It’s impossible to understand why people did such atrocities just because one human wanted to. In today days we know that people rule the world not one human, so we created a system to make everyone happy… yes Dusly.

- Professor, I watched a documentary where people were talking about the year 2005 or something, it seems they started a campaign to aware people to Global warming issue, so they made musical concerts…

- It was one of the most stupid events in human era. The idea was to inform people about the issue, but after the concerts they left thousands of plastic glasses on the floor. They should make a huge conference, like Al Gore ones, explaining the Global warming issue. But they were too occupied with money and profit.”

This is a possible history class in the future. We live in a Hypocrisy World, everyone talk too much but we see a small amount of action. We must wake up to the real problems!

Many of you may know "Vitas", the guy with a very strange voice. Many people has an admiration for Vitas due to he's singing, well, I admire him due to his courage to cut his own "balls". A men with balls can't do that voice! (Just kiding)

I’m sick with this case.

Portuguese police was criticized and now the parents say that the police wasn’t looking for her daughter? Those stupid parents, they leave the child alone on the bedroom! What kind of father does that? They were negligent! But nooo, "Portuguese police can't do the work, they wasn’t looking for our daughter". Shut up! You, MacCann, had VIP treatment! And Portuguese police, PJ, is one of the best in Europe!

I’m tired of this! I don’t know if they killed Madeleine or not, and you know what, I don’t care! Like one Green Day song: "I don’t care huu huu huu". Yes, I’m cold on this case and you know why? Because they don’t deserve my respect!

And remember:

ePrompter has a few years but remains in the spotlight. Why? The answer is simple: because it's one of the best programs, or the very best, for the monitoring of e-mail accounts.

Well, here is one of the best games ever.

It seems untrue but it's the purest truth, Tyrian 2000 has everything a good game needs: good graphics, good gameplay, good story and many hours of fun. Many games today did not reach the heels of this "little game" of the DOS, it's a shame fot the modern games but only shows that the games are not only perfect graphics. Today it's difficult to find games with a consistent story, people give too much importance to the graphical beauty. Of course, is an important point but the gameplay and history are also relevant.

Well, now I am departing from the subject. Going back to what matters, Tyrian 2000 is a DOS game so ,to play it, we need to install an emulator, so I put in a folder the Tyrian 2000 + the DosBox.

To play the game you must follow this instructions:

- Install the DosBox.

- Take the folder Tyrian 2000 of the rar to the desktop, for example.

- Open the folder Tyrian 2000 that's on the desktop, take the application SETUP and drag it to the shortcut of DosBox.

- Then change the Sound Effects to Soundblaster (this is to turn the sound on).

- Then save and exit the setup.

- Go to the folder Tyrian 2000 which is on the desktop and drag the file0001 for DosBox.

Once that is done, you can start playing the game. Remember that every time you want to play you don't need to go to the setup, just drag the shortcut for the file0001 of DosBox. Enjoy the game.

Hi everyone,

After almost a month without writing a single post I’m bringing to you an extremely addictive game.

That’s right, New Star Soccer 3.16 is so damn addictive, when you’re playing it you just want to pass all the game, play all matches to reach your objective. I will make a simple review of the game:

Graphics:

NSS, when you’re on a match it has horrible graphics.

Gameplay:

The good gameplay is the reason why this game is so addictive. In the game you control one player, and just one player. You can customize it, simple things like hair color, skin color and height, but this is on the beginning of the game. When you start making good ratings on matches you start getting some visibility and newspapers will start making good reviews about you. With your popularity, you will be able to make good amounts of money with sponsors and with the money you can buy a lot of things like houses, cars, horses etc. Other feature of the game is the possibility to play on the casino, but do not play too much because your player will become a gambling addicted.

Well, this has a lot of features; just try the game if you like soccer.

Portugal is becoming an aggressive country. I mean, nothing compared to other countries where we can’t even walk on the streets at night but criminality in all aspects is growing.

And you’re asking: Why do you say that? Well, when I open a newspaper I count 15 to 20 pages where I read "crime news". On the TV News I watch the same thing, only depressing news. This isn’t new; a long time ago I wrote an article to a magazine about depressing news. With that article I tried to criticize all the press and media due to the extreme amount of depressing news. Well, today this problem is even worse!

A country is like a child, if you’re continually saying to a child that he/she is the worst student in the school, the child will fall into a depression. With the country is the same thing, depressing news will affect all of us. People will start believing that their country is the worst country in the world and because of that, they will become unsatisfied.

So the press needs to transform bad news in good ones. They need to do something like I did in this post, start with a bad new, in the middle a bit of philosophy and at the end a fun new. To end this post I will "embeb" a video of the most recent case of aggression in Portugal: a student disrespecting her teacher.

The student is just a stupid kid sending messages on the class, so the teacher took her mobile phone. The kid become aggressive due to that and started making this funny scene. It’s funny because the student would receive the mobile phone at the end of the class, so a normal person would respect the teacher.

There are such stupid people...
