I was thrilled when one of my sweet clients invited me to capture Lally & Doug’s engagement party as a surprise gift to this lovely couple! The party at Cafe Des Amis in San Francisco was great fun, full of close family and friends and the wonderful atmosphere at Des Amis. I loved capturing all the many smiles that surrounded these two, along with their test run on cake cutting and their lovely toasts. It’s clear their wedding day will be a wonderful celebration!

L Family | Baby Session | San Francisco Family Photographer

Oh. My. Goodness. This is a warning: little Olivia will melt your heart & put a huge smile on your face!!!

I laugh out loud every single time I look at these photos, and since I’ve been looking at them every day for several days while working on the full edit, that’s some staying power! This was actually our 3rd photo session together; one for her newborn session, one for a holiday mini session and now her 9 month session. We had so much fun crawling all around, and she was cracking me up! This little beauty has a million different expressions, all of them heartwarming! And I loved the moments with Olivia and Mom. So sweet!

Oh my goodness, what an honor it was to photograph and witness Tracey & Shawn’s elopement!! These two are so sweet, and so in love, and they put together such an intimate and lovely wedding day. They arrived in the Napa Valley over a weekend, then planned their wedding for early in the week and spent the rest of the week vacationing. They selected Brix Restaurant for their ceremony, full of gorgeous quintessential Napa views, and Kimberly of A Beautiful Ceremony, gracefully officiated their ceremony. I love, love, love the sweet & intimate approach that Margie & Thien brought to planning their wedding day! Truthfully, I love weddings big or small or in-between!! That said, there is something so special about a wedding day carefully paired down to the most important elements: the joining of two lives, close family & friends and love & celebration. Sprinkle in some gorgeous settings like The Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio Social Club, wonderful food, heartfelt words & great music and you have an event to remember! Margie included elegant & simple visual elements to bring it all together: beautiful ruby accents in the florals and decor, along with personal touches like a guest book of written messages on collected stones and favors of their favorite spiced almonds from Rodin Farms. Topped off with a fun sparkler exit, Margie & Thien’s wedding was the perfect blend of fun and elegance!

I was thrilled to hear from Marce earlier this year, that she was expecting a new addition to her adorable family! I had photographed her maternity & newborn session with her first little arrival, and getting to reconnect with Marce & Alfred, see how much (now soon-to-be big sister!) Clelia has grown, and to help them capture this sweet time, is really what it’s all about in my book. They have been living out of the country the last few years, so capturing the beauty of San Francisco was a goal for their maternity session. We decided to meet in Sausalito for a different twist on the Golden Gate view, and we found so many sweet spots to explore and document their lovely family!
