Red-Rimmed Eyes ::::: 1965 Dodge Truck

With all the howling wind and blowing sand in the Mojave last full moon, this truck’s eyes looked like mine felt.  I bounced the red light off the ground so it was picked up mainly by the aluminum headlight-surrounds, snooted warm white on the headlights and cool white on the hood and snooted on the Dodge logo.  I had to work fast to get all the lighting done before the rising moon flared, or moved, too much.  53 second exposure.

The West 40 ::::: Eagle Field ::::: February 2013

Another remote corner of the sprawling WWII Air Force training base (now privately owned) I spent last winter shooting.  There are treasures like this pump and electric golf cart hidden all over the property.  Those are abandoned barracks/mess hall buildings in the background.

Purple light on the pump, white on the cart front and snooted on the pump dials, and red on the back of the cart and backlighting the pump.  All done with the Protomachine flashlight in 141 seconds under a full moon.

About 1 AM in the unlucky kitchen of a destroyed abandoned house.  A mile down a lonely dirt road, in the middle of nowhere, in the Mojave.  Cool white and salmon Protomachine flashlight during a 2-minute exposure, under the full moon.
