Hi all!

About a year ago, I started this project where I set out to create my own personal definitive take on the whole mythology of LOST. I had a lot of things in mind and I thought this was the best way to convey them. It took me longer than expected to complete it because I have other commitments like the final year of my undergrad and I even 'abandoned’ it for a while because I sort of ‘moved on’ from LOST.

But I’ve finally completed it! It’s Seven Chapters (plus an Epilogue) mostly detailing the events that occurred on the Island before the crash of Oceanic 815. I tried to make each chapter unique in a sense that each of them revolved around a particular set of characters. Here’s the rough outline of the chapters and its centrics:

1 - Ancient Times
2 - Jacob/MIB/Richard
3 - Alvar Hanso
4 - DHARMA
5 - Widmore/Purge
6 - Hawking
7 - Jacob/MIB/Locke/Ilana

I didn’t want to make a simple laundry lists of answers and instead I tried to weave them into a story as best as I could. I’m not a professional fanfic writer so don’t expect anything extraordinary about my writing style/English.

Again, this is NOT the definitive take on the mythology. It is my personal take on it and you decide whether to accept my take or not. But if you decide to accept my take on it then hopefully it can enhance your experience when you watch the whole series again.

We began this RPG(Roll Playing Game)last Sept10, 2010. We are a group of writers that are adding some depth to LOST by creating and exploring the LOST universe. We take some liberty with cannon by exploring some of the myths and histories of the Island. We each have crafted our own characters as a vehicle to do so and kept several cannon favorites alive.

Like I said in the last post, I found these stories and forgot that I had them. I took the liberty of re-writing from the old ones as to make them more in tune with the original episodes. I had them with only five scenes but later realized that all regular one hour episodes where done in six scenes. So I have added new material to each episode which was fun because I was able to clear up some of the story I had left out. So here is episode two. It is called The Chosen One.

The Final Episode - 80 pages, so allot yourself 15 or 20 minutes more than normal to read it. I've taken a few bold strokes here but I think they are worth it. I am proud of the whole story.

I appreciate each and every one of you that have invested your time in reading this series, not having any 'teases' or having been sold much of any reason to do so...it was always my M.O. to let the story do the talking. It has been a two-way leap of faith, that I would actually finish and keep within the spirit of the original, and that you would still be there to read. THANK YOU.

On character deaths - I never planned character fates outside of a handful, I wanted to keep everything as completely natural to the story as possible and I believe I succeeded in doing that.

I accomplished everything I set out to do with the story. And I am amazed that it has wrapped up as nicely as it has (IMO)...you've got to leave these stories behind at some point. And that was maybe the most difficult decision of all. Where to leave it? Well, I did the most appropriate thing, IMO.

My only regret is not having more character-building but I felt a need to honor the readers and FINISH before it became too drawn out.

Lastly, I firmly believe I have paid Damon and Carlton and Co., the full respect by keeping everything within the spirit of the original and totally inspired BY and CONSISTENT with the original. Let this be my love letter to the original and may it hope to inspire SOMEONE to continue the story, for real.
