More "Lost - The Movie" Rumours

Although IMHO a Lost Movie is a bad idea and one I'm pretty sure won't happen, it still does not stop a lot of rumblings and rumours about it.

Here is the latest from Sharon who was recently in Hawaii on the Kos Lost Tour and something in her report stood out as interesting. I have no reason to disbelieve her although it could just be a case of the security guard having some "fun" with the tourists :)

I was talking to a security guard at the beach camp (only kitchen standing and echo's church), he was saying that they have been asked to stay on after this season finishes as they will finish with a big cliff hanger and will follow up with a movie

So would you like to see a Lost Movie after it is over?

Damon Lindelof Reveals Some Tidbits

Here are some tidbits thanks to The Donkey Wheel from Damon Lindelof's appearance at a comic book shop in Sherman Oaks today.

No way to know if these are true or Damon was trying to keep us guessing, so we are posting these here for now.

Damon L. had a book signing tonight and he stated that when season one ended a woman asked him what is in the hatch. He signed something of hers and also wrote there is a man in the hatch that has to push a button every 108 min to save the world. She didn't believe what he wrote and laughed. This brings me to the things I saw he wrote today.

First he stated the Swan Hatch Paiting was "painted by Desmond to pass the time, but time came around to bite him in the ass"

Second he wrote "Sawyers true love will ALWAYS be Juliet. Kate, Meh."

Third "Why, Oh Why is it called the 'Swan'... literature, (name), literature"

Last "Faraday had the right idea but the wrong execution"

Preston and Steve Morning Show WMMR Philadelphia

The Preston and Steve morning show on 93.3 WMMR are friends with the cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, starring Rob McElhenney. The cast of IASIP was in Philadelphia last night to perform their musical "The Night Man Cometh." This morning, Preston revealed that, while speaking with Rob McElhenney, who played Aldo in "Not In Portland," was given the script for Lost to make at least one appearance in the final season. This comes almost straight from the horses mouth. The only way to verify would be to get a quote from Rob himself.

"Off the topic of your 80's party....Your mother told me Lost is your favorite tv show. Did she tell you my actor friend is on that, he played Bram last season - 4 episodes, he was in HI a couple of weeks ago filming 2 more episodes for the new season."

I got a call that Lost was filming near my work yesterday. I had the day off so I thought what the hell I'll give it a try. Their filming location was right next to a public walkway and I used that to my advantage for a couple of hours.

Exterior scene. Outside the doors of a medical building. (pictured below with Ben and Ben's photo double)

Michael Emerson is sitting in the background with his trenchcoat off, he was talking to the crew and just relaxing in between takes. His photo double was being moved into position by the people behind the camera and they were taking some sort of light and camera measurement. Like I said this was very much a public walkway and they only stopped pedestrian traffic when they were filming. I walked nearly right next to the cameras on the walkway and I covertly snapped a photo. One of the members of the security staff immediately saw me and told me I could watch the filming from the public access areas but asked me not to take any more photos and to please dispose of any previous photos I may have taken.

Michael Emerson came back on set and was wearing a long gray trenchcoat with black pants. In the first part of the scene Ben is watching someone from a distance as they exit this building. It's some sort of medical building as doctors and nurses were used as extras coming in and out of the building. Because of where I was standing I could not see who Ben was watching. I shifted positions and moved over towards the building a little bit and holy shit there he was, Johnny Fucking Locke. Locke was in his wheelchair and at this time they were just filming Ben watch Locke wheel himself out of the building. Locke seemed very sad and kept his head down as he wheeled himself towards the street.

After that they moved towards the street very close to us on the public walkway. Locke is sitting in his wheelchair waiting for a cab (or some other form of transportation). He looks depressed and they showed him watching this little kid running with a red ball and the ball goes into the street and the kid runs after it and they did a stunt where a car slams on it's brakes and the car never really got remotely close to the kid but maybe it will look better on camera. They put the camera on Locke trying to save the kid but he can't walk and there's nothing he could do. Locke falls out of his wheelchair and tries to crawl towards the kid to save him. The kid is fine and he just picks up his ball and runs back onto the sidewalk. They showed Ben watching this from behind Locke and once Locke tries to save the kid Ben must have seen what he had been waiting for as he ran over to Locke and helped him up. Locke is pissed off at the world and he didn't want to be helped up.

I received this today from Behnam which supposedly shows the set for Season 6 at the studio. I've not had a chance to compare this layout of the plane with that of the original Flight 815 or Ajira Airways Flight 316.

I'm pretty sure this is fake due to the "blurriness" but it's been a long hiatus already so it's something to discuss :)

HOAX : New Season 6 Promo?

Let me describe it for you, post if you think it's relevant:

While clicking through the ABC site yesterday I stumbled upon a :30 promo for S6. Today it is gone. I have looked at all the ususal sites and cannot find it anywhere. I'm so sorry I didn't save it. At the time it did not occur to me that would not be there later.

If anyone finds it, please post. In any case, I will narrate it for you now...

This is a very dark and foreboding spot with a "you're doomed" type sound track . It starts with the LOST graphic inverted just like the end of S5, white is black and black is white. The scene is on- board flight 815 as the passengers are finding their seats - just like in S1, but darker. Hurley gives Walt the thumbs-up, etc. The scene plays on like the original - showing all the main characters one by one until it gets to Jack and Locke. Jack gives Locke that little glancing smile, then the camera zooms into a seething Locke - THE MAN IN BLACK VERSION! The Man In Black Locke in on 815 before it takes off! The shot then cuts to a rapid montage of island images (10 or so) related to Locke, like the hatch timer, etc. then the image cuts to a shot of a plane crashing on land at night in bad weather. It does not crash on a beach, at least not a deserted one because there are clearly buildings in the foregound. The wing clips one of these buildings as it makes impact. The plane did not appear to have Oceanic markings on the tail, but it was dark. There were lights on the ground but not enough to make it obvious it was a city (maybe LA)? As the crashing plane fills the frame the shot cuts to the title graphic, inverted as before.

Has anyone else seen this? If you do, grab it quick!

I am a actor living in Honolulu and recently have read for a small part on the show, for this coming season. I haven't yet had to sign any confidentiality agreements tho if I get the part I would have to.

So I would like to anonymously tell you there is a reset, we will be back on the air plane, they are casting parts for Sydney Airport.
They are casting for Others in the Temple.

Thats about all I really know, but they are back on flight 815 in the 1st episode.

I was just browsing IMDB's Zuleikha Robinson's (Ilana) page and found that she is listed as cast for episode 6x01 in January. And if you look in the 6x01 page itself, it also mentions Elizabeth Mitchell and Nestor Carbonell.

Now this may be, as I already said, nothing, but something is good during the hiatus right?

Season 6 - Big Casting Rumours

Hi all, I've been sent through some very nice information from a casting agency rep, which whilst I cannot confirm 100% I believe to be pretty accurate from what else I've heard from other sources. However until we get some proper confirmation I'll be leaving this in the rumours section.

Here is the gist of the information which I'm summarizing from their email.

- Lost Producers are attempting to obtain contracts with the bulk of old cast members for season 6 and checking their filming availability.
- This includes Cynthia Watros,Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Clancy Brown, Daniel Roebuck, Mira Furlan, Andrew Divoff, M.C. Gainey, Brett Cullen, and Bill Mapother. None of these have been officially confirmed/signed up
- Also included are a number of ex-major characters, Maggie Grace, Ian Sommerhalder, Dom, Elizabeth Mitchell, Michell Rodriquez, Harold and Rebecca for multiple episodes.

In my ongoing research to find out if HIC will be returning to Lost for S6, I found this on imdb.com recently. Not only is he listed to be on Episode 6 of Season 6 of Lost, but if you click on "Lost" there's a link for Season 6, and the same list of actors is there as well. Also note the addition of Emilie DeRavin back to the main cast and the deletion of Elizabeth Mitchell. You know more about imdb.com than I do, I don't post or edit on imdb, thought i'd send it to your rumour mill. It does say to his credits he's active on Lost 2005-2010.

TRUE : Is Dominic Monaghan Returning for Lost Season Six?

Rumors have been swirling for the past month about Dominic Monaghan's upcoming projects.

In addition to talk that he might have a role on ABC's Flash Forward (with fellow Lostie Sonya Walger), there's been ever-noisier buzz about a possible Lost return engagement. Could it really happen?

Well, we just got a juicy tip that suggests there very well might be a place for doomed rock bassist Charlie Pace in season six of Lost. Here's what we're hearing...

A reliable spy tells us that Monaghan, one of the key original Lost castmembers, and Lost show runner Damon Lindelof had breakfast together this morning at a Fairfax district eatery in Los Angeles. Of course, the meal might just have been a friendly sit-down between two colleagues (and/or because waffles are delicious), but as Lost-loving optimists, we have to hope that it was a meeting where the two talents came to terms about the story that puts Charlie Pace back in the mix for season six.

Now, there's no telling what the last episodes of Lost will really be like. Speculation begins with a safe landing for Oceanic flight 815 and from there gets really, really crazy.

In the many months between now and the season-six premiere, the best we can do is sit back and let our imaginations run wild, collect pieces of the jigsaw puzzle and hone our dreams and theories about the castaways of Mystery Friggin' Island. So what's your theory?

If Dominic Monaghan is returning to Lost, do you think he will reappear as strung out 815 Charlie? Or would he be hanging out with Hurley (Jorge Garcia) as a transcendent (but dead) rock god? Does he have an alternate-universe dopplegänger? The possibilities are endless.

Lost : the death of Jack

In one of the biggest shocks in sci-fi, Lost producers are planning to kill off Jack Shephard next year.

The castaways' mainman, played by Matthew Fox, will die in the very last episode of the hit show, according to insiders.

Show boss Carlton Cuse refuses to confirm or deny the news.

"We put a lot of time and effort into creating surprises and unexpected events in the storylines," he says.

"If you're watching Lost, it should be a pristine experience."

So will he kill off the doc?

"I wish I could answer that question," he says. "But it'd be like watching The Sixth Sense and knowing Bruce Willis is dead."

We'll take that as a 'yes' then.

Little Casting Rumour

Thanks to Nomad for this little bit of info. I suspect this is probably true but I cannot confirm currently. Also note that the roles that they audition for sometimes change eg He could be a Professor or turn out to be a plumber.

I worked with an actor named Nick Chinlund on a made for tv film last year up in Canada. I moved to New York about two months ago and I'm just staying with my sister for a few more months just checking out the city to see if it's a place I might consider working and living in.

Anyways, I ran into Nick at a little hole in the wall restaurant in the city over the weekend. We caught up and talked for a couple of minutes. He talked about his current projects and he revealed that he auditioned for Lost for the character of Brian which he said was actually named Professor Brian Harper in the actual auditions. He got two call backs and thought the part was his but his agent told him one of the producers of the show got an actor from a movie they did together to take the part. The character is a Egyptian history professor in the states according to Nick.

He lost the part to Brad William Henke who worked with Damon Lindelof on the Star Trek movie.

Update: 9th April I'm beginning to think this is total BS after talking to a couple of sources. Although some elements from known spoilers may have been mixed in with these descriptions it now looks like this is not trustworthy. I number of things this "source" has said no longer makes much sense along with the fact that I manage to catch them in a blatant lie. It's a little sad that someone went to so much effort to try a trick us but they will have to try a little harder before their info makes it onto the Spoiler Page :) (Although if this being done by ABC it's a great way to conceal the real finale lol)

For now we'll mark this as hoax.

Update: 9th April Our source has revealed the correct ending. I've still not been able to verify this 100% but only read if you want to know as this could be some key scenes of the Season 5 finale.

According to "Setspy", the person who took the photos from the set a few days ago, one of these spoilers will be the ending (or at least a very substantial portion of the ending) of Lost's 5th season.
