Love, Joy and Peace are the Most Important things to me. And am sure they are So for Anybody and Everybody. Had wanted to write on these topics, and hence the Name for the Blog.

In this Beautiful world of ours, Sadly, there are Plent of Ugly, Sad and Bad things.

Prashant Bhushan's remarks on AFSPA

Had read +Prashant Bhushan's statement on the above, and shall not quote it, as it should be available enough over the Net. The Point is that it sounded Sensible Enough to me. There IS the problem as to How much of a Distorted version We are getting at this stage.

I Shall NOT be speaking of Referendums, Plebiscites or anything like that, as I have No political science.

But, as a Common Man, shall write some Common Sense things on all these.

1. It was said that AAP-ians did not know politics. And what is the Shame in that?

Politics, after all, is 'Raj-Tantra,' the 'Tricks' Kings used to Keep their Subjects under their Thumb.

We Should be Happy if AAP-ians are not good in politics.

Here is What they SHOULD be: Good Human Beings, Good Citizens, And Concerned and Honest Administrators. And Happily, We Can be Happy that they ARE that.

2. Typical politicos spew a lot of air, giving themselves time the while to think and assess what they are saying, examining whether their statements would cause them any problems, even as they speak. Their Interest is NOT the Welfare of the Nation or the People, but themselves.

"They duck stinging questions through ambiguous replies,

Shy away from being barracked,

Are guilty of 'self-righteous shrillness,

And use 'brusque interjections in a high-pitched voice.'"

Let us be Thankful if AAP-ians are NOT like that.

3. AAP had done well to have Concentrated on the affairs of Delhi. Now that the situation is showing that the Nation is calling for AAP. It seems that there has NOT been enough discussion on policies. AND NO WONDER. We seem to think that policies are made in Days. We shall have to change our mind on that.

4. Policies NOT having been outlined, Prashant had spoken out Too Soon. Prashant would have done well to have said that the policy is yet under discussion. But he is right in saying that AFSPA has to be revised. There have been Enough instances of Misuse that make this Necessary.

5. A Govt SHOULD carry out what its People Want. THAT is the job of the govt.

jaya as PM candidate!

Sends shivers up and down my spine! If she 'does' become that, would have been better if I had been born an elephant.

Bill Gates came and said to her that the Infrastructure of the State would have to Improve if he was to be impressed.

This woman had promised 24 hours of electrical power, about which she had made SO much noise, with DAILY, Whole page statements in newpapers! (What must have been the cost!) The DMK had supplied some 21 hours of power, in jaya's time we get 12 hours or so. Last I heard, some 18,000 small industries have closed down in the Coimbatore area alone, due to lack of electrical power.

Oh, she is a real 'expert' in giving explanations. What if Intellectuals call it 'excuses?' she does not mind. she has Crores of sycophants ready to believe anything and everything she says.

jaya has 'Succeeded' in turning the river beds into dry earth by Mechanized Sand Mining, allowing whatever water comes to go 'Directly' to the sea, instead of seeping in through the Sand. Those who say that DMK also did this are turning Blind eyes to the difference in Scales, the Amounts taken out during the two times.

But We DO have LOTS of govt run 'bars.'

I cannot think of anything else she has done. Freebees? But everybody gives freebees these days. After all, it is not from 'her' pocket.

At least Arvind Kejriwal arranged for Free Water. This woman sells water at 10 rupees a litre.

The People Protesting against the Kudankulam nuclear plant have been SURROUNDED by the TN police, their Transportation, Electricity and Phone Connections cut off, and have suffered police atrocities and brutalities during jaya's time.

More than 270 Tamil Fishermen are in 'lankan' jails, and more than 70 Boats of the same folk seized by the same bully. But suddenly, in this case, jaya is making lots of noises for them, she who had been silent in this regard for about 3 years! Oh, elections are coming, of course.

But, elephants have it made! Spl camps for them every year. Spl food, Tender Loving Care, in short, a Picnic. I 'HAVE' to become an ele. Because she does not do it for Cows, Dogs or Donkeys.

By the way, just what is it that makes these women love elephants so? In the north, we have mayavati, who had put up about 10,000 statues of elephants for the benefit of the people of her state. And jaya gives picnics to elephants. (Interesting, no? ja-ya, ma-ya!)

So, though I do not believe in Re-Incarnations, or Punar-Janm, I hope I become an ele, at least by some majic! Only way to survive the regime. Haha!

'Politicizing' Calamities

Even the media seems to have picked up points from the AAP. Now they are having 'live' Interviews/Debates/Discussions on the AAP style.

+Headlines Today was having one just now. It was on the tragic Double Gang Rape and Murder of the 16 year old in Kolkata, and the subsequent political drama.

The thing that caught my attention were the words: 'politicizing' the incident.

That is True Indeed. For some, like the Parents, Family and the Near and Dear ones of the Deceased Girl, it is Fire in the Belly.

What has Not been talked about enough is the Fear in which the People have to live, where rowdies come and Threaten, Carry off one and Gang Rape, where police takes No action, and rowdies come and repeat their deeds a second time, well, the whole rigmarole. Society is Traumatized.

And politicos want to make mileage of all this. If there are enough People behind the Protest, the Opposition jumps in, organizing things. The ruling party cries 'conspiracy.' Both are trying to sway the masses to vote for 'them.' More votes mean coming to power, and able to take commissions for each and every contract.

We, the People, shall have to Rise and Tell the politicos to Change, to Deliver Every Basic Necessity, Justice, Dignity and Safety, and that, if they do not, they will be thrown out.

One small question to the Indian Police

Dear Indian Police Force, two things are on the News just now. One is the DOUBLE Gang Rape of that 16 year old in Kolkata. It is coming out in the news that she had been Pregnant at the time of her Death. Well, Two Deaths are NO big things for the police force.

We had also heard that the force had refused to Hand Over the Body of the Child to her Parents, and had said that She had tried to Commit Suicide, when it later turns out to have been a Murder.

I am not asking You anything about all this. The Indian Citizen has become USED to such things, to such an extent that We do not expect Anything else from you.

On the news, in a separate incident, was a man who had Killed his own, 10 year old Child, for having Spilled some Oil.

The thing is: you, the police force, took this man about with FACE UNCOVERED. What happened? Forgot to cover his face? you people are (In)famous for protecting the 'dignity' of criminals. The faces of those accused of Gang rape were not shown. The faces of those supposedly 'already' jailed in the case of the 16 year old whom I mentioned before were Not shown.

Just How and Why did you show 'this' man's face?

Some Questions to HEADLINES TODAY

+Headlines Today is pursuing, with Great Gusto indeed, +Arvind Kejriwal having taken some new house(s) in Delhi. The channel has reported that Arvind has taken 2 'bungalows' of 9,000 square feet in central Delhi. And that these are bigger than those allotted to supreme court judges. With all this, the channel is saying, in so many words, that Arvind has gone back on his words of Not accepting govt accommodations, and of living simply.

I am No Architect, and No expert on buildings. But, the 'big' bedrooms they were pointing to were No More than 16 feet on a side. That is Big? The corridors were about 5 feet wide. That is a Big house? The doors were Not More than 5 feet wide. That is Big? I dare to say that I have given 'Outside' limits to the dimensions. It all definitely looked more Submarine than the Titanic.

...The Verandahs and the Courtyards were Well Pointed out. Do the personnel of the HT perform better in houses 'without' airy places and spaces?

...Would the HT have preferred that the CM of Delhi live in some 'corner' of the city, commute to office everyday, losing time, and at risk?

...HT mocked that Arvind had taken 'Official' cars. The two cars that were shown were MUCH smaller than the one shown in Renault's advert. Does the HT grudge a CM the use of such cars? Would the HT really, seriously and Responsibly say that it would prefer Arvind to waste his time by commuting? Does it give guarantees that it, the HT, would not complain of Inaction and Waste of Time?

...Who needs a bigger house? A chief minister or a supreme court judge? Do judges have people 'Constantly' turning up for Consultations and Conferences, whom they might have to accommodate?

Incidentally, I have seen, over the TV of course, our 'president's' house. The +National Geographic had done a good job of showing us that 'small' house. It would seem that the country 'has' to show off. Compared to that, Arvind would be living in what are called 'Out Houses' in the Railway.

AND, dear HT, Please give us the dimensions, in terms of square feet, of the houses of meera kumari, speaker of the lok sabha? And that of some minister (Not of the AAP), who has the Smallest official residence at present? Also give us the details of the Cars used by ministers, and the number of Escorts provided them. ...Thank you very much.

Religion is the Answer!

My Blog carries the words - Love, Joy and Peace. And it would seem that I have written practically Nothing on these subjects!
It would only 'Seem' so. ALL that I have written all along would contribute to LJP.
And today I write on Religion, and Call it the Answer to Everything! I hold onto it. And here is How it is So.

FIRST of all, Religion is NOT going to Church/Temple or whatever. Religion is Not merely Worship and Prayers. And being a Good Religious is Definitely Not posting holy sounding things on Facebook, etc!

The word Religion is derived from the latin word: Religare, that is, Relate, and thus, Relationship. Thus, Each one's religion would say just HOW he/she decides to RELATE to: 1. God, 2. Other Human Beings, and 3. The Rest of the Universe.

With regard to GOD, one may decide Not to believe in Him. Sort of Dropping the very idea of God into the Dustbin. Funnily, 'this' becomes this person's religion! Because that is how he is going to relate to the idea of God.
Some may say that Everything is god, Others, that they themselves are god.
And some want to relate to Him with Reverence, Respect and Love.

We are HUMAN BEINGS. So what Religions say about the Appropriate and Correct Behaviour towards Other Human Beings is of the Greatest Interest.
ALL religions teach Love. Some tell their followers to love only their own kind.
The Problem is, that while some profess, according to their religion, to love Everybody, they do so only in words. Like the man who said: "I love Everybody! Is not a Black man driving my car? Is not a Mexican my gardener? Is not a Chinese my housemaid?" etc.

Or, as Bill Maher put it: Christian values have changed from ‘love-thy-neighbor’ to ‘fck-off-and-die.' (www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-maher-when-did-christian-values-change-from-‘love-thy-neighbor’-to-‘fck-off-and-die’/)

As for the REST OF THE UNIVERSE, there are those who love Animals more than Human Beings(!), those who believe in killing a Whole Whale just for its fin, and those who would fell a whole forest and not plant a single tree in return.

On the other hand, we have Established 'Religions,' like Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, ...the list is very long. Religions essentially derive from what is written in the Sacred Book(s), AND how 'Religious Leaders' interpret them. Religions 'become' what the religious leaders Say!

Today, and for a very long time, Mankind has lived by the principle: 'That is Not MY Wife. Why should I open my mouth?' You Understand what I mean. An Absolute Lack of Concern or Care, in short, Apathy.

And religious leaders, reverenced and revered most probably because of their seeming austerity, have basked in this reverence to such an extent that they have become fat like the politicos!

...In cuba and china, people HAVE to turn up for the political speeches, in the case of the former, sometimes 7 hours long. In India, the political parties make arrangements for travel, arrange food, and give each 'participant' a few hundred bucks. WHEREAS, People Spend good money and Willingly listen to religious leaders!

Being a Christian myself, I can and I should limit myself Only to Christian religious leaders. ...We are given at least 7 years of philosophy and Theology. Christ had Constantly said: "Go and Teach."

But what do I see? I had a priest 'Poking' me in Facebook for a whole 7 months! I have had 'bishops' suddenly surfacing from/in Facebook to say that I am too harsh or something, and then disappearing forever. We have had popes who kissed the ground but did nothing when Youngsters were being Sodomized. We have priests who keep building newer and bigger churches, while People have been 'Leaving' Christianity. We have bishops who have acres of 'Rubber Plantation,' (BIG income, folks), and some who take 10% from all grants from Misereor and Caritas, etc. Social service centres in dioceses take 'their' cuts! And all the while popes speaking in italian, in ways that appeal to Nobody.

If Only Religious Leaders would say to the People Repeatedly and Powerfully:

"Be Concerned, Be Concerned and Active, Be Active in Your Concern for Your Fellow Man,"

Then We shall see that Religion is Really the Answer.

Is a Happy New Year So Easy?

The TV showed fantastic Celebrations of the New Year, in Europe, the Americas, and even China and Japan! ...SOME had started the New Year with Worship and Prayers. For Others, it was celebrations all the way indeed. Lights galore, Billions worth of Fire Crackers, and ...Drinks. Anyway, we must say that the celebrations were a success. :(

Right today, the TVs, +Headlines Today, and +TIMES NOW, were FULL of the Report of a Minor Gang Raped TWICE, doused with kerosene and set on fire. The police force had tried to cremate the Body, and did not want to Hand Over the Young Girl's Body to the Parents.

HAD THIS YOUNG GIRL 'NOT' CELEBRATED NEW YEAR LAST YEAR, PROPERLY? Is this why all this happened to her?

Do Celebrations make the New Year a Happy one? Do Plenty of Wishes make it Happy? WHAT makes a Day a Happy one? What Brings Continued Happiness to Life?

Why Should I give You Answers? I Invite You to Put on Your Thinking Caps.

Arvind Kejriwal's Second day

The second day of +Arvind Kejriwal as CM seems to have started off with a lot of Unnecessary Noise!
Members of the DTC, or Anybody, are Welcome to present their difficulties to Arvind, who, they are Sure to know, is a Very Receptive person. He is Not only Approachable, he comes directly to the People and mixes with them.
With All this in Mind, the WAY the DTC people brought forth their complaints was not in the Best of forms. All that Shouting, and Blocking the Whole Place!
Arvind will have to think about the Citizens who live in those Apartment houses, their convenience, ability to go in and out, and the Silence required for the Old and Young Children, and for the Students there.
Calling the 'police' for 'Crowd Control' will NOT prove effective, as the police do not believe in Talking and Making People Understand. They will immediately put up Barriers, and stand using their Batons.
The AAP Volunteers in that area will have to go on rotation duty, assuring Petitioners that their petitions WILL be seen to, asking them to Keep more Silent for the reasons mentioned, etc.
Also, it does not seem a very practical idea that Arvind will come down to listen to all petitions. There should be a PRO, just for attending and noting the people's requests. This office is quite common, and AAP should see to this.

the Official Secrets Act

During the swearing in ceremony of the AAP-ians, happened to switch on the TV just as the oath on the Official Secrets Act was being administered.

I wonder Just When this law/act had been formulated. During british times? When they took the decisions, did not want Us to know about them, and put an act to that effect.

Now, what is there to be hidden from the Citizen? There is definitely No call to broadcast a Country's Defence related matters. But other than that, I believe that the govt SHOULD be ready to tell the Citizen of all its decisions, and the processes involved. They should be on call, anyway.

At present, I believe that the act becomes a convenient shroud behind which shady dealings can be perpetrated. It should be done away with. Am surprised AAP does not have it on its agenda.

VIP's - vip-culture - anupam kher

In an interview over the TV last night, +Anupam kher had said, (if the TV had reported it correctly), that the AAP would not be able to do away with the 'vip-culture' as the AAP-ians have become VIP's themselves.
My dear Anupam, how right You are in calling the upcoming AAP-ians VIP's. ...There are Many Important persons. Each Parent and Each Child is Important, Each Coach is Important, some players are Important...
But Some, and Only Some, are Really Very Important. Those whom I disdainfully call politicos have called 'themselves' vip's. But We saw How Easily Replaceable they are. But the Combination of Honesty, Hard Work, Charism and Simplicity exhibited by the AAP-ians is what Truly makes them VIP's.
Now let us come to the so called 'vip-culture.' What a Joke! That the way the politicos have been living should in any way be associated with Culture! Leaving aside the terminology, We Know that this so called vip-culture stands for the Vulture-culture of the psuedo aristocrats, who spend Crores on pleasure trips to Australia and S. America while their Farmers are committing Suicide, who go around in Convoys of Cars, God alone knows why, and all that humbug.
The AAP-ians have Not given in to that. Today their Top Ministers used the Public Transport, WITHOUT filling in their compartments with their 'security.' During this morning's news over +Headlines Today, one of the congee spokespersons criticized the Security arrangements at the Ram Leela grounds, saying that the AAP 'IS' taking security after all, and the TV anchor/presenter concurred! (How suggestible we are!). But the security, of 1,600 police personnel, was NOT there for the ministers taking oath. It was on the grounds, seeing that Patna-like incidents did not happen to the PEOPLE who were going to attend the ceremony.
So it is Eminently possible for VIP's to Give-up, and Live Without, the so-called vip-mentality. The AAP is showing that, and it is High Time that other politicos followed suit, if they do not want to face the Wrath of the Citizens.

If Arvind Kejriwal CAN!

+Arvind Kejriwal has Refused the 'govt Bungalow' that chief ministers reside in, Police Protection, etc. All AAP ministers have vowed to do the same.
But the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal are not the Only ones to practice Austerity and Control. Christ became man, Ram went for his Van-vaas, and I am sure Mohammad was great. Then we have our Gandhiji, Abraham Lincoln and Nelson Mandela. The list would be very long. I took the example of Arvind merely because he is our Most recent Example.
That Established, let me take up my point for this post:
On the 21st of this month, a young woman, +Alefia Kapadia was harassed by a man in a Chevy, regn no: MH 01PA 598. She had taken this man's photograph, and had gone to the police, who, she says, were very helpful.
I Absolutely Disagree.
Once having the registration number, it can not take the police even 30 minutes to trace the vehicle's owner. Yet Alefia's photos are live on Facebook today, without the mention that the man has been caught. That means, SIX days after the incident, the police have kept sitting on their behinds.
AAP was formed on the Challenge, 'If not Us, then Who?'
The political parties, the courts and the police have SHOWN us that they are not going to come to our Rescue. The police force, formed of the Lower Middle Class People, acts Only to protect the so called VIPs. So I believe that We have to Protect our Own. Teach Rowdies Strong lessons so that they would behave. Sure, they are Organized. But Just Why can We not do the Needful?
And do this in Such a Manner that it is not Working off our Grudges and Petty Insults.
If Arvind CAN, So can WE! We can mete out Justice where and when Needed, and Remain Responsible Citizens.

Would 50-50 be Right?

On the 23rd of December, a Young girl 'ran away' with somebody. When Young Men or Women go off and marry without the Consent or Blessings in Traditional families, it is called 'Running away' in India, and is considered Very Bad. Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, all think this way. Love Marriages are accepted, but it is also expected that the Couple would Present each other to their respective families, and that the backgrounds and suitabilities are examined. This young girl's family is quite traditional too. They are Christians. So they had No Christmas this year. (This means they did not Celebrate Christmas).

In another case, In the beginning of last month, a family lost one of their Sons. No Christmas for them this year either, though the loss had occurred last month. (Both these are True cases).

Thus we see that even AT the time of Christmas, things are happening. We cannot 'Shelve' things just because it is Christmas. These things are of Great Concern to God. NOT that He is Disturbed, Worried or Upset. But He IS concerned.

Let us consider what the Elders in both these families would have done. Particularly for the Small Children, they would have bought them New Clothes, served them Good Eatables, and would have tried to keep them happy. They would not have Stopped Cooking, in any case!

Allow me to throw in the Example of the new AAP govt in Delhi just now. They have made promises to the people, 18 points in their agenda. They will be thinking of Ways and Means to Fulfill these promises, IN the midst of the uncertainties of the congress support, the criticism and mockery of the bjp, and what not.

THIS is what We have to Do. We shall keep Breathing. We shall be Eating and Sleeping. We shall even Celebrate Christmas (I am NOT asking You to stop this!!!).

But let us keep the Miseries of the World and the Needs of our Country, of our Children, Right in FRONT of our Eyes as an Agenda. Let us Keep them in our Prayers, our Thinking and our Efforts.

Christmas does NOT mean putting a Stop to our Concern for our Fellow Man. And WE ARE EXPECTED TO BE AS CONCERNED AS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.

Wish You The Blessings of Christmas, to ALL of You, my Friends!

(I had wanted to post this on Christmas day itself; could not as my internet had been down.)

The Angels sang: 'Peace to People of Goodwill.' Other translations would say: 'Peace on Earth.'

Peace can be had ONLY by People of Good Will!

And the Peace is offered On EARTH! ...No Pie in the Sky when You Die stuff.

...I came across this answer in as far apart places as Gorakhpur and Tilkimarang. When asked, 'What is Christmas?' People have answered: 'That is the day when Christians eat Cake and Drink.' True or Not, that is the Impression we have given.

Christ is not waiting for us to turn up for the Eucharist. Christ is not waiting to hear our Christmas Carols. And He is NOT Impressed with our reaching out to the Poor at THIS time.

Even at Christmas time, Christ it downright Annoyed when we treat others with Contempt or Lack of Sympathy. He is Flabbergasted at our Turning our Backs on Medical Care for the Poor.

...Christmas is Many things. We will do Well to KEEP all these thoughts in our Minds, Ponder on them as Mary did, and Do our BEST to bring His Kingdom on Earth.

WHETHER WE DID OUR BEST OR NOT WILL BE ASSESSED BY CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF.

The AAP - and Tamil Nadu

Am an AAP member, (No. 9000283198), and Proud of it.

Recently, a friend expressed his difficulties with regard to the 'hindi' name of the party. What I wrote to him would be useful for many more:

AAP stands for Aam Aadmi Party, which really means the Party of 'The Common Man.' Pothu Makkal Katchi would be the best translation, though some are proposing 'saamaanya makkal katchi.'

I disagree with the saamaanya, as it means 'Having no spl skills,' whereas Pothu means Common as Opposed to the 'spl' folks. AAP was started to counter the vip culture, and to fight Corruption.

...I suppose they did not think of the negative impact of a hindi name in Tamil Nadu. BUT, if we can accept english names, we should accept Hindi. english is foreign, and Hindi is at least Indian. Finally, if we want to remain with languages, problems! If we are ready to go with issues, AAP is the thing!

Can AAP Fulfill its promises?

So much talk about this! So many people, from anna hazare, to kiran bedi, to members of the bjp and the congress are raising this question.

Two VERY Simple Answers to that:

1. There had been the statement of Challenge, that AAP would not get a Single Seat in the last polls. The Citizens of Delhi and 'Time' have Answered that.

2. Similarly, Only Time can answer this present (useless!) Question! ...What is the Use of asking if a particular horse can pull a particular cart, or whether India would win the next test, or whatever? Let those asking these questions just Wait. They will find out the Answer.

As for US in the AAP, We are Confident that the Promises made CAN and WILL be fulfilled.

There had also been a Question about 'Popular' but 'Impractical' measures/reforms.

The old definition of politics was: Doing the 'Expedient' thing, that of 'Compromise,' etc. AAP has come to Show that the RIGHT things will be done, However Difficult they are.

The Rise and Rise of Arvind Kejriwal

Usually people speak of the 'rise and FALL' of this and that. It was said of the Roman Empire, etc. Here it is 'The rise and the RISE of AK!'

This heading was one of the things that flash on our TV screens, particularly when we are watching news. This is from the Media! It was there on the Wall of either the Headlines Today, or Times Now, forgive this old man for not remembering. I saw it this morning. ...But when I saw it not important!

What is Important, and Impressive, and Heartening, and Everything Positive is that Arvind has made All of Us Proud! When India lost in cricket, we used to feel bad, and Good when India won!

The Rise of Arvind is giving a feeling that is Deeper than what we had by the Victories of India in the field of Sport. This is Life. AAP forming govt with congress support

MUCH is being said against the AAP forming the govt in Delhi with the 'so-called' support of the congress. AAP is being criticized for going against the previous statement that it would not take the support of either the bjp or the congress. Has the AAP gone back on its word?

AAP did not form the govt to start making money, to get money from contractors and to loot the Treasury. If there had been a re-election, the AAP would have Won hands down. But before that, the People of Delhi gave a 'Mandate' to the AAP to form the govt.

'Personally' I am one of those who had said that we should not trust the congress. But, I Trust Arvind and the Other leaders of the AAP. If the AAP has gone back on its word of not allying with the congress or others, AAP has done so BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WANTED IT.

On the other hand, the congress has already gone back on its 'so called' Promise, to give Un-conditional support to the AAP. The congress has 'shown' what its promises are worth. Fool would be the Citizen who would believe in the promises of this party, or in fact any party, EXCEPT the AAP.

the congress - and the performance circle!

A Person searching for a job is asked what and how much Experience he has in the field.

A Person just having finished his studies, and searching for his first job, naturally has NO experience.

This is the Notorious 'Experience Circle.'

With AAP forming the govt in Delhi, the congress has created the 'Performance' circle.

The congress had earlier asked the AAP to form the govt, saying that it, the congress would support the AAP. Now it says that its support to the AAP would be 'Performance based.'

The congress has started off by creating a Problem. One gets the feeling that it would try its level best to see that AAP has a difficult time. AAP's Performance just 'might' be affected by it.

So they would create Problems in the Performance, and lend support according to Performance!

lovejoynpeace - and - KABADDI!

My Blog carries the name: 'Love, Joy and Peace,' and it would seem that I have posted almost Nothing on that!

Before I go further into that, about KABADDI. This is an Indian Game, played practically All over India. We have two teams, and the playing area is about as big as a 'Beach volley ball court.' One player at a time, alternately, enters the others' area, and is supposed to 'touch' those on the other side, All the while singing or saying out something, to show that he is doing all this in one 'Breath.' The other side will try to catch him. If he reaches the centre line, he is alive, and all those he had touched are 'out.' If his breath gives out before he comes to the centre while he is caught, 'he' is out.

In this, while one member of a team tries to grab him, as many as possible will rush to keep him in. If just one or two try to catch him, he might slip away. I am not giving You all the intricacies of the game, of course.

...If Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had tried to shoot down the british, they would have sent a platoon or a company of soldiers, surrounded him, and would have finished him off. If Gandhiji had tried His Satyagraha alone, If He had not found support, Freedom would Not have been achieved. Examples Ad Nauseam.

When we notice an Issue that would affect the Well Being of our Family or Country, We have to Join in in Support.

Involvement in the Well Being of Another brings Satisfaction, and the Experience of Being Loved. It brings us Peace and Happiness. In Short, Love, Joy and Peace!

How the congress can win

Here I am, a confessed AAP Sympathizer and Supporter, giving Ideas to the enemy camp? Haha. But wait a little till You have read more.

rahul gandhi seems to be brimming with ideas, on whom to keep where, whom to send where, etc.

And sonia gandhi is of the opinion that 'the programmes carried out by the party were not explained well enough to the People.' According to her, her party cadres failed in this, and that is the reason for their failure in the recent elections.

[As if The People did not know what was being done there, which is Actually Nothing.]

...Now, even 'she' cannot blame Others about what I am going to say:

The Whole NATION had been trying to explain to her and to the congress that CORRUPTION is extreme in the party, and that it would bring them down. In Reality, Corruption is lying Right at the Door Steps of the so called leadership of the party, in the person of vadra, sonia's son in law, for one. And it is this practice of Corruption that brought the congress down.

Let me finally come to the point: congress can win if they would jail vadra, and ALL the corrupt ministers in the party. That would also give them the Moral Authority to prosecute the corrupt in any and every corner of the Nation.

If they would Really do that, the following Happy things would happen:

1. The whole country would vote for them, and they, the congress can be happy. No more long faces.

2. Arvind and AAP can go and take a rest, as that would be the beginning of a Corruption Free India. Arvind would be happy and his family would be happy. They deserve the Rest.

3. anna hazare would be happy that his former companion, Kejriwal is no longer in politics.

No WONDER so many laws are Bad!

About half an hour ago, had put on the TV, onto my favourite... +TIMES NOW. They were airing anna hazare's lokpal bill's 'debate' in the lower house.

That word, debate, really Had to be put in inverted commas. +Sushma Swaraj was speaking, and in the background, it sounded as if wolves were baying in the jungle. May be we should appreciate these speakers who can carry on when others are clamouring like this. I cannot. If You do not want to listen to me, I have better things to do.

Well, I cannot understand how so-called civilized men and women can create Bedlam during serious discussions. Can they not stand up and express their opposition to the views, and that be noted?

laws are supposed to be made precisely in these Mad-House situations! And that is Why, No WONDER so many laws are bad.

You want some EXAMPLES just now? I give You the Americans Strip Searching all those whom they arrest, according to their 'law,' no less, and our Own IT66A. According to this latter, If You ask Just How is it that this person made so much money within such a short period of time, It would be called 'Scurrilous' (It had been used by a 'minister' and I had to look it up), and You will jailed, and thence disappear! Alice in Wonderland!

We are too much taken up with words

People are more offended when I call an Idiot an Idiot, than they are when they see a poor woman molested.

Here, the 'word' pundit would immediately latch on to the word, 'poor,' and might say, a Diplomat is not a poor person.

Idiocy. Let us learn to stick to the Main things, Getting Offended by words, than by a Molestation.

Let us come to this particular case:

If You call me an Idiot, I do not know how many would laugh at me.

But, (DO Excuse me), if somebody had lifted Your Sister's skirt, and I had seen it, and I tell it to the World, tell me the World would NOT be Snickering at Your Sister.

Authors, Speakers, Gurus, have a veritable Responsibility to see that the message Reaches Home.

One Very famous example that comes to my mind is that of the Zen Master telling somebody, who had kept ON enquiring as to Just what the Buddha was , with these words: "The Buddha is a Toilet Stick." (Those being things they used in place of 'toilet paper.') Zen is Complicated, (and at the Same time Simple!). The Master's answer meant: Stop asking such questions, and pay attention to what 'you' really 'need.'

So let us Stop Acting Shocked over Words, and BURN over Issues. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is doing JUST THAT.

anna is losing!

On the third day of his fast, the doctors had found that he had lost 3 kilos of weight.

But that is the Least of his losses. he is losing Two Very Important things:

1. The Jan-Lokpal which he had wanted, which he had fought for, and actually for which he must have begun this his second fast, is fast getting out of his grip. he is getting the Jokepal.

In India, from who knows when, Water was added to Milk to increase its mass. Sold by the litre, it brought more money to the Milk-man. Then there came a time when it was said that 'Milk was being added the Water,' so thin had the mixture become. The Jokepal is like that.

anna is getting the Jokepal, he seems to be happily accepting it, but he is losing his Jan-Lokpal.

2. Am extremely disappointed with anna. As I see are Indeed Many Others. he is cosying up with politicos. he is calling the bill his, a mention which is totally Un-Necessary. he is at loggerheads with the AAP.

With all this, he is losing the respect he had commanded.

We are required to Love Everybody. But Respect is commanded. It cannot be bought, nor is it 'given.'

The 'lankan' incidents

This small country, a close neighbour, could have received much love and affection from Us. But I choose to put it down by not using the 'sri' it uses before its name.

Let me go back to the Khobragade incident. This Young Lady, this Child of Mine, has ALL my Sympathy.

But, While Speaking about her and the things that happened to her, people refer to Our Sailors having been reportedly killed by the members of the italian armed forces. The persons who had died were from kerala. That whole state, practically, and even Indian higher ups rose up and made enough noises to come to attention of the National Media.

But Tamilian Fishermen have been SHOT AT, had their Boats damaged, had their Boats Captured, been themselves Captured and Jailed in lanka, and what does India do? It gives training to lankan armed forces, and sells them military equipment.

The central administration of India behaves like a regular Step Mother as far as the Woes of Tamil Nadu are concerned. This is Not a good thing.
